I had this picture of Wolf's Rain Paradise for my desktop, but my brother reformatted the computer, so it got erased

. Does anyone know where I can find a picture of Wolf's Rain paradise without Darcia in the pic? I looked all over the web but I'm not having any luck. Soo...help? I'd greatly appreciate it. You can post whatever WR pics you have or want to share here too. I'm just looking for 1 specific picture, but I'd be happy to see what else you have! Thanks in advance!

Don't know if these are what you're looking for, but even if they are they are so small that they are probably useless. The last one was just cause I felt like it.

Awesome thanx! Is the second one Kiba's mouth? Anyway they're all great! The simplicity of the last pic appeals to me the most for some reason lol.

Thanx again! If you wanna post more you're always welcome to!

Personally I love Wolf's Rain. It caught my attention from the first episode. I watched it on AdultSwim and fell in love with Kiba and Tsume(their voices as well; Johnny Bosch and Crispin Freeman). The world is bleak and yet nothing stops Kiba from moving forward to find 'paradise'. Through his actions he brings the other wolves he comes across together as a pack and gives the hope or the promise of a better day. They all begin to care and want to protect each instead of looking out for number one.
I admit there are a few confusing parts, especially about who and what the nobles really are and yet I was always anxious to see the next episode. I read something that someone wrote about this being a 'never ending anime' and it stands true to me. After the show ended, I really wanted more closer so I'm glad they're releasing four more episodes and hope AdultSwim will show them.
Oh and I agree, Gravity is a great song. I'm happy to call myself a fan.

How many episodes did Adult Swim show originally? The first episode that I saw was the last episode that AS aired(the next two days they showed the first two episodes and then replaced Wolf's Rain with Trigun). Since then I have been buying the DVDs to watch the series. I know that in Japan the showed 26 episodes and later released the final 4 for a total of 30. If you haven't seen the last for and don't want to wait to see if AS will air them you could always go buy the volume 7 DVD which is coming out on May 24.
ps-If you plan on buying the other DVDs, don't get volume 4 because all four episodes on the disc are just a recap of what already happened in the series. Seriously, you would not miss a single thing if you didn't get that disc.

Hey AlphonseRules! I watched all the episodes that AS showed but I do indeed plan to buy the DVDs. Thanks for the head's up on when they're being released. Even though you said I could probably do without, knowing how I am, I'll buy it any way. Stupid huh?

I watched the volume 6 DVD today(episodes 23-26). Episode 26 was the original last episode in Japan before they released 4 more episodes. 26 was not the last episode that Adult Swim showed, so I think that they showed all 30 episodes in one shot. I don't think that there are four more episodes past what AS has already shown. Anyway, the volume 7 DVD comes out tomorrow, which has the final 4 episodes.
CAUTION: Pics may contain spoilers if you haven't seen up to episode 26.

I've seen the whole series as premiered on AS, and have both volumes of the manga as well. Currently I am re-watching the series on ASoD. I love the music as well and am currently about to get the second soundtrack. Yoko Kanno is a goddess. I love all the anime she has done practically. Since it involves my favorite animal, I couldn't resist watching and have since been hooked. My favorite characters are Darcia and Toboe. XD

I'm sorry guys, but I never really liked this show. After seeing the commercials, I thought it looked awesome, what with all the wolves biting people's necks and blood spurting all out and whatnot. But watching the shows, I didn't like it. Basically, a bunch of episodes building plot, then a few episodes where basically everyone dies horrible bloody deaths. And I didn't bother making that a spoiler, because everyone else has talked about it so much already, so deal with it. All my freinds think so too, and it was really a big letdown.

I have to say that this was a great anime and I enjoyed it all the way through. I think someone in this thread mentioned that Wolf's Rain has been called the never ending anime. Now I know why. The only bad thing is that I am dissapointed that it is over. I'm gonna watch it again once I am done with school.

I think that a lot of people just give up on it after the first few episodes. They think that it is slow and assume that the whole series will be that way. Personally I never thought that the series was slow(unless you count the 4 recap episodes, which I don't really consider episodes).

Wolf's Rain is definately one of my favorite animes. I own almost the entire series. The only thing I need to buy now is the OVA.
I love all of the characters. Kiba and Toboe are my top favorite. I love them the same. Kiba is just plain cute and I love the sound of his speaking voice. I love the way he smiles. Toboe is a cutie too. He's really sweet and he cares a lot about wolves and I love his soft spot for people. I loved Hige at the very beginning but once I got to know who he was towards the ending...I never really looked at him the same. I love the Blue and Hige pairing though. I also love the Kiba and Cheza pairing. Blue is really pretty. None of the fans are sure if she made it to Paradise or not. The ending is confusing to most fans. It's really sad and depressing what happens to them. What I like about it is it's not what you expect.

Blaze_01

Yeah, Wolf's Rain is definately a keeper. Blue and Hige make a great couple, as their affections for each other were obvious, from when Blue said in one episode "I don't care if I can't get to Paradise. As long as I can stay with you, I'll be happy.", as well as how she screamed "HIGE!!!!!" and tackled him and started rolling around with him in the snow, after they escaped from Jagara's city with Cheza. Cheza's affection for Kiba is obvious too, from the first time they met, where Cheza hugged Kiba, and just before she died, she told him to look for her after the world thawed out. It hurt me to see Kiba lose her like that, not to mention the suffering that poor Hige went through, between what Darcia did to him, and then nearly ripping Blue's throat out, and having her die in his arms. I don't blame Hige for having Tsume kill him with his own fangs.
~FMAgurl~
Jun 22 2005, 07:47 PM
That was a crying moment, when Hige died. Anyway, Kiba and Cheza would make a great couple, except the Kiba being a wolf and Cheza being a flower part.

True, but as the last guest replied, anything is possible with anime. And Cheza DOES have human DNA as well, and Kiba can take human form, so something MIGHT be possible.

From the beginning Hige has always been my favorite character. Why would you change you mind about him, he never really did anything wrong. He didn't know that the troops were using his collar to track him, so I don't think that is his fault.

Keep away from this spoiler if you have not seen ep 30!

I think the opening, when the song "Stray" plays is in fact the ending of the series. It matches perfect after ep 30. That way you finally see it 29 times without knowing ...
