Yeah. He got his just deserts though, when he ingested Cheza's blood, which was poisonous to anyone not protected by the full moon.

I think the opening, when the song "Stray" plays is in fact the ending of the series. It matches perfect after ep 30. That way you finally see it 29 times without knowing ...

Concerning your spoiler, that is precisely why some people call Wolf's Rain the never ending anime. It's kinda like a loop. I don't think that there is one true answer to how it ends though. The writers probably wanted people to put it together themselves. I could be wrong though.

I hope they decide to make a 2nd season, and have all the wolves (along with Cheza) survive and get to Paradise this time.

This anime will never have a complete happy end - even if they would make a second season. It just wouldn't fit with the rest.

For me the end is good the way it is...
You can think about it forever... neverending indeed.

If I download all my anime, does it still count as a collection?

Anyway, I haven't downloaded it yet. I've only seen the dubbed version on AS. I haven't even seen all the eps yet! Hm...now i'm even more disappointed in myself. I really should get it, since I have nothing to do.

There's nothing wrong with the dubbed version at all! If I had the chance to download it, I would. But the only way to get the dubbed is buying it...which is something I'm not capable of

. So I need to download the subs. I have seen the last couple episodes, but I skipped a lot in between

Oh my!! This show rox! Whats so good about it is its atmosphere. There is such a sense of sadness. The Characters are awesome and the emotional side of the story is great. What I like so much is that, the anime isnt a happy-good-life-ending anime. I unfortunately havent watched all of the episodes but I saw on a AMV that Kiba is resting in flowers and a girl puts her hand out to him. Who is she?

I don't remember her name, but Kiba meets her after getting seperated from the rest of the pack after Cheza gets taken by Darcia. She wanted Kiba to stay with her, but Kiba then remembers that he has to protect Cheza, so he races off to find the others and go save Cheza.

He was unconscious for that, right? I remember he was like, half dead. I don't remember her name either, but I know that she's not a wolf. She's another animal...I think. I coul be wrong.

Her name is Mu and she is a little bobcat or something. Yes, Kiba is unconscious during that scene.

anyway, Cheza is really a flower and had some siblings that died earlier in the series

He is in love with her temporarily. That whole scene where Kiba is with Myu is in his mind. He passes out because of a poison in some plant and he forgets about the other wolves and Cheza. He thinks he is in the real paradise until he remembers them and wakes up.

I recenlty watched the last few episodes again and I must say, the ending is very hard to understand for me, Did kiba reach paradise or darcia when he stepped onto that ice. Cheza also mentioned that that was not her true form and that she was a ''forced hanabidoll or hanabitou'' lol sorry I couldnt really hear what she was saying :s. and whats with kiba running at the end

Basically, yes.

OT:
I just started writing a fanfic that has the series end on a happy note though. All the wolves (and Cheza), survive and find Paradise, and Kiba kills Darcia by tearing his throat out, then tossing his dead carcass over a cliff.
