i don't seem to recall Hagaren DX released in Chinese yet. however, i do have Perfect Guidebook. (vo. 1) in chinese.

I saw it in Kinokuniya but no DX...
I'm waiting for tongli to publish the chinese versions though, so waiting...

For some reason I thought it was already licensed in Spain well this is great news (There certainly seems to be a lot of Spanish speaking fans on here and on LJ). And it's nice that they are keeping the black cover but I agree the logo on the Japanese versions looks so much nicer. The english logo is too outlandish in my opinion.


I have a thing for collecting manga from different countries. I have few Italian volumes (but alas nothing for FMA). Other than that I have a bunch of original Japanese volumes of manga (for this mainly FMA volumes) but so far my international manga collection is rather small.

Reika: el doblaje en español es muy malo??? en castellono pasa, se tolera , la verdad comparado con otros animes es bastante bueno.

Hay un versión en castellano y en español americano? He oido el versión en español americano (a menos, creo que es que era...) y los actores eran horrible.

In general, there are always 2 "spanish" dubs. The version from Spain, and the version from Latin America.

That's because of the differences in vocabulary, and also the differences in accent (the accent of Spain is very recognizable for us Latin Americans, and in the other way too xD Accents can be a little bothersome, sometimes...)

As for FMA, there are also 2 spanish versions. The LA version, dubbed by Animax in Venezuela, debuted in 2005.

It was quite painful in Resident Evil 4, which is supposed to take place in Spain and all the names and voices are totally Central-South American. Ugly With only one exception, at the beginning one of the police guys says "Coño!" (a bad word U), a very Spanish expression XD

en comparación con shin chan, el doblaje es mejor, pero la interpretación de los actores no pega con el fondo musical para nada, y esa escena de cuando salen corriendo que se contestan a la media hora y encima ya empiezan a terjiversar el guión en plan "pareces godzilla!!" fue como "... y una mierda". Me dio la impresión de que les faltaba guión y dijeron "ya nos inventaremos algo mientras lo hacemos".

Edo en mi opinión es desmasiado adulto para lo que es, aru habla demasiado lento, y lust es la madre de "malcolm" y no le pega un pimiento, necesita una voz más melosa y sensual. X lo general tiene mejores actores que otros animes, pero el resultado en mi opinión es bastante cutre, a pesar de ser mejor de lo q me esperaba.

Eso sí, le da mil vueltas a la versión mexicana.

No es mexicana...pero si uds lo dicen les creo xD A esa versión cualquiera le gana...

Por eso adoro la versión de EEUU *_*

Si es doblado "encantar" los niños, van a destruir la historia, cambiarlo estar mas simplistica, y mas 'correcto', si? Como todos de los programas para niños, nececistara estar facil comprender, y es posible que por eso, dan una voz de vieja a Lust, porque Lust es un 'malvada', y es mas facil comprender eso, si aparece como eso.

Creo que es sólo un decir Occidente en general tiene asumido el hecho de que "dibujos animados" son para los niños...

España tiene una larga tradición en lo que a anime y manga respecta. La comunidad de fans allí es muy grande...por eso, si bien pueden dar la serie en horario infantil, me extrañaría mucho enterarme que la han censurado o que le han hecho cambios ^^ Normalmente allá no hacen eso...

En otro tema...
A decir verdad, yo hubiera preferido que el doblaje se hiciera en México xD No me han gustado los doblajes que se han hecho en Venezuela...

hay muchos rumores acerca de censura visual de fma, no puedo ver canal buzz así q no tengo ni idea de si es cierto. Ahora la censura verbal está más clara que el agua, al igual que el hecho de hablar hiper lento como si fueramos niños y no fueramos a entender lo q nos están diciendo. Pura tradición española: es pa' niños-censura-terjiversación (total, no se van a enterar (¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬))

A mí tb me ha parecido la voz de Al algo robótica, pero puede ser por la calidad del audio.

Coñas aparte, versión en catalan, haberla no hayla por ahora... pero no creo que tarde mucho estando ya licenciada por estos lares. Televisió de Catalunya suele comprar (sobretodo recientemente en lo que a anime se refiere) las series ya licenciadas en España, normalmente por Jonu, Selecta, etc. y adaptarlas.

Lo único que he podido encontrar, así en un googlazo rapidito...

La versión catalana saldrá probablemente para octubre, que si no me equivoco, según mis fuentes es la fecha de publicación de los dvds, probablemente por jonu y para el salón del manga.

The cover looks just like the French version.

This is the Danish cover of the first volume....basically, it's exactly the same as the English cover except 'Hiromu Arakawa' is placed at the top and 'Carlsen Manga' is at the bottom.

They released the first one in April 2008, and as of August 2009 they will have 10 volumes released.

Yeah, I'm in U.S. and I can also access Japanese websites, and I'm updating the info on volume books & other official FMA publications in original Japanese versions and the English versions, but I need help from FMA fans in other countries with info on FMA books and publications in other languages. Everyone, please pitch in with the info!!

I'll be glad to help, but I can only understand Danish and English well enough to get around. I might be able to get into the Swedish and German sites and post stuff about those since the dialects are similar though, so I will try that now and add an EDIT when I do.

This is the Italian version from Panini Comics. I can't understand Italian, but I could see they had volumes 1-21 available.



The Finish version from Sangatsu Manga. I believe they have 1-20 volumes, with 21 to come.

I looked up all the countries that had the possibility of publishing them and dialects similar to Danish I could understand (German, Swedish), and those two were the only ones who sold them in their own language, not in English or Japanese.

The Brazilian version has the chapters published into 43 volumes, and the covers are neat to look at because they are taken from chapter pages and novel covers, and there are actually one or two I've never seen before, such as vol. 12.
