Im sure to me, as well as others, your taste in music would appeal to us as garbage as well. The types of music people like have to do with a lot of things. Their culture, age, sex, religeon, time period they grew up in, where they grew up, personality, are all factors that determine what type of music someone likes. Im 15, so i grew up with most of those bands like linkin park, godsmack, incubus, etc.
Some of the other stuff I like i didnt grow up with, like metallica, led zepplin, and ACDC for example...
Its that simple.
