Any nocturnal / insomniac person will tell you that infomercials late at night (3am-5am) are addictive...Once you start watching it's so calming and tranquil (just be sure not to buy anything ) The GGW infomercials are loud flashy and overall obnoxious!.....

i'd rather watch the magic bullet infomercial or that appliance for baking bread! (or that one for chocalate fondue! >_>)

I was about to say those Tanqueray ads with the 'Tony Sinclair' character, but I actually have a sort of fascination with them.

This guy raises a kind of morbid curiosity in me. Neither I nor anyone I've asked has any idea who he is, so he's obviously not a celebrity spokesman. He certainly isn't particularly telegenic. And his whole character comes off as really gaudy and obnoxious. Yet he punctuates every ad with an emphatic "I'm Tony Sinclair", like it's supposed to mean anything, and we're gonna drink Tanqueray just because he's there telling us to do it.

This is easily one of the strangest ad campaigns in history.
