I do it all the time when ever my body heals it self or when my stomach breaks down the nutrients from my food to be used to keep my body going and to make new cells and blood.

Right now, I haven't lost any importan person to me yet, but I'm sure that I want to see them again if the day they leave me arrive.
Especially my family

So yes, I believe that I would do human transmutation if I could.

No, I don't think so.
Although I have to say, if one was in Ed and Al's situation, it's very likely he or she would. At 10-11 years old one is naive enough to try anything, especially if his or her own mother dies.

It wouldn't be good. Died is died, it's no very much use to do human transmutation. Especially when it could be a bit dangerous.

I probably would if i was younger and wanted it that bad but after watching FmA, no way man...

I probably would since I still consider myself to be quite immature. If I knew that I had the skills to do so then I totally would do so without a doubt. But like armouredsoul said not after watching FMA, no way man.

well if you really think about performing a human transmutaion they have pros and cons, one of the pros would be that when you would arrive at the gate you would be exposed to the "truth" and be able to use alchemly without a transmuation circle. A con would be that as in Edwards case he lost his mother brothers body and his limbs and also created the homuncule that dante fed fake philosphers stone's to the anti mother . in my opinion i would perform a human transmation only if i really cared for the person.

Seeing what happened... No. Well, if I was coherent. However, if I were drunk from drinking and grieving over a lost loved one, I might be tempted to do it. Though, without a strong knowledge of alchemy or something similar, I don't think anyone could do drunk/high or not.

No, i dont want a soulless accumulation of semi-skinless flesh and mixed organs and limbs to spawn on my transmutation circle

you know thats a really hard decision. at the cost of getting a loved one back i would definitely consider it. but having already known some of the consequences i would reconsider, so i'm not sure this is touch

You know, that would be a hard decision to make, but due to how crazy and risky I am, chances are I actually would go for it.

I would not. To see the person that I loved eventually become corrupt with evil power. It would be so sad.

No, i wouldn't.. because the risk and how like Life changes it can be. I don't want to lose an arm.. leg or even a body its Diffcult to Live with all that happening. It can be hard to lose some one But if u lose an arm or a leg or a body for something not even close to the person u lost the whats the use to try it then its pointless so yea that my desions to do Human Transumtation... So yea

I think I would do it , why would i not want to do it ?
There could be soo much that could be gained , for example lots of Money , for personnel help too , like reviving someone who lost his life and was my good friend .
Also it would be a rare talent that I could do it and others cant , so I'll be proud of it too and use it too !

I probably would. There are some people that I want to see alive. But still I don't want to create a homunculus. And I don't want to lose my body or limb.

No. Simply because I do not want to repeat the mistake of others. If I did, I'd be considered stupid. No further explainations needed.

You're assuming you could pull it off in the first place, and unless you had a Philosophers Stone, you couldn't, so now you have a whole new set of problems.
Anyone of us who'd want to perform a human transmutation is dense. You'll lose a limb, if not your life, and create a Homunculus, and if anybody found out, you'd be a convicted criminal. Period. The only times Human transmutations have ever worked properly have been with Philosophers Stones, or by sheer chance; so unless you're prepared to sacrifice and entire nation, or you're Clint Eastwood, forget about it.

I think the Thread said- "If You Could, Would You Perform A Human Transmutation?"
It says IF YOU COULD , well If I could , why not ?
and
If there is a chance of loosing a limb or something ,( that would be a case when i dint know how to perform it, I mean pull it off properly ) , I would still actually do it, to know more about it ! CURIOSITY , I cant help it

i chose 'no way' and it might be because ive never actually experienced a person whom i love very much die.
but if i had the chance, i wouldn't want to.
since i know that person is already gone and i would be being very selfish.
i would only be hurting the person only thinking of myself because of the desperation.

Ahahaha, I love this so much.
Nothing about the dead person you would bring back or the limbs lost at all. It's purely about the potential gain.
I admire your unrepentant greed.

No, not really. It may seem cruel of me, but that person would just die again later. You should let them be. I bet I sound like a total idiot to most to you.

I wouldn't do it for the simple fact that I would have no motivation to do so. Sure, I've lost almost my entire family with the exception of my sibling. And even if I had the motivation, there hasn't ever been anyone important enough in my life to warrant my wanting of their resurrection, at all. There's just no one I'd care that much for to try a human transmutation. I'm sure I come across as a cold prick, but hey - that's me. I'm a heartless bastard, who doesn't care for much of anything. I've been referred to as 'Homonculus' by my friends for quite some time because of my inept coldheartedness and lack of caring. But, that's just my bit of ranting.

ACTUALLY, it's happening nowadays and it's called CLONING. even alchemy consider it as a greatest taboo so why bother? and it will only have a bad effect on the one who transmuted it.
xox
Oct 23 2007, 11:38 AM
^Human transmutation isn't the same cloning... Cloning is copying, not bringing something back to life.
Anyway, if I had the chance to do it I wouldn't, I think it's better not to mess around with these things.
