Haruhi-chan is a web series full of chibi stuff. There's also one with Churuya which is pretty much the same from what I've read.

So it's not a new season...but a new episode? Alright then.

As mentioned before, the season is twice as long as it should be so there is a season two, apparently mixed in with season one.
The episode that just aired is a new one so be on the look out.

The new ED lacks a dance, but it's still pretty good.

The lack of dance is a good thing. It was horrible seeing a bunch of over weight nerds trying to repeat it. It really wasn't worth all the tragically awful attempts for the handful of good ones that came out.

I think it was worth it for this.

Another new ep aired. First of a two parter.

For those who read the books it's Endless Eight being covered so most of this ep is just the gang doing summer type stuff which oddly doesn't include sitting in front of a computer watching anime. They sure are weird in Japan. I'd recommend waiting for part 2 next week and watching them in one go.

Oh! Also, new OP. Not as good as the first IMO but it does it's job.

I can't help but get the feeling that like FMA:B a few of the less important art has been rushed a bit but that may have been the terrible raw I saw.

I've only read volume 1 of the manga (which does not do the series any justice) and am halfway through the novel, so I don't know about Endless Eight, but I will wait for next week to see them both at once.

I assume the new OP is by Aya (and Yuko and Minori, maybe), but I really liked the first one, so I'll wait to see this new one before I judge it...

Nah, just some wonky faces (very much more in the style of K-on, the other show they're currently doing) and one or two perspective mistakes. The previous new ep has a telegraph pole disappear as Kyon cycled by as well.
Nothing that will ruin the show in anyway though and they'll be fixed for the DVD versions.

Is there a second season of Haruhi? I thought it was finished. But I like the first season a lot so I should check out the second, that is if there is one.

So, this was the first part of the "Endless Eight" story, which I guess will be split into two parts (at least). Though that meant, because the first portion of the story was just Haruhi and the gang having fun with summer activities, that's essentially all the episode was. Still, it was sort of nice seeing them all doing all sorts of activities. I sort of wanted to join them, pathetically enough.

Keep in mind all the little Yuki moments for later.

By the way, I love the new OP.

In any case, my assumption was that these new episodes fit somewhere within the first series, but I guess that IS kinda whats going on here.

I've noticed the animation is bit different (like the shape of the faces and all), and I kinda like it :3 It makes it look...softer.

OH!!! I love this anime!!!! It's so cool! And the seiyuu of Haruhi; Aya Hirano is the best j-pop singer!!!

I have no idea what Kyo Ani were smoking when they thought up this schedule. 2 eps for Endless 8 would have been enough. 3 would have been okay but a bit much. They're currently moving onto part 5. 5+ parts of what is basically they same episode over and over again. What the hell, man?

Probably the same thing the guy who made Utena or Evangelion was on...

I've yet to see any of these parts, damn. Just waiting for them to finish, I guess...

I have done a catching up with Haruhi Suzumiya and currently on episode 9 of the first series.
At first, I'm really confused with all that's happening. Including what everyone calls Haruhi.

And what is this Haruhism?

Haruhism = A religion in which Haruhi Suzumiya is God. Duh. It's because in the anime, she is God.

After the failure of S2 I am more excited about this than I thought I would be.

Was S2 really bad? I never actually saw it, I was gonna wait until it finished and I could download them all at once.

The Endless Eight section was tedious nonsense that undid whatever else S2 did right. If you just watch the first and last ep of that arc then it's not so bad (the other arc doesn't really bring anything new) but it was just a big let down.

I really like the Said Anime . . . However, in the Philippines it is cut up by Channel 5 . . . any KIND person can tell me it's ending ? Puhleezze?

It all depends on which order you watch it in. In numerical, it's just a lil ending that's pretty cute.


It's a normal thing that happens in anime. And it isn't so gross. I know in America, girls who are friends do that all the time. Of course, Americans are just plain weird to begin with.
