I don't like pichu because he hurt himself every time you he attack and he easy to knock off.

Pichu is just a joke character, although his speed does give him some credibility. I've not used him much but my mate is good with him. You need to be very quick and surgical about your attacks. He said that the longer the match was the less chance Pichu has at winning.
Use him in stock matche sand the Endurance special match. He's fun in those.

Pichu is pretty quick. He good for speed and getting out of tight spot because he so small, it something hard to hit him of your a big character.

^True, but when using a smash attack with Bowser (or any other character for that matter...) at just the right time can send Pichu flyin'. That's fun. 'Specially when I play the Super Sudden Death mode against 3 Pichus... ^^

Link's my fave one cause he is just an all-round caracter. Not quick but not slow, somewhat strong, long distance attacks and good at getting back on the stage

It funny doing Super Sudden Death. I like to make people fly every where.

my best character is marth. hes the best.

Sheik got owned on the tier list. ^^ She was knocked from first to third compliments of Fox (now number 1) and Falco (current second). Marth's fourth on the list thanks to his godly tipper. I personally like Samus most who I think is upper midtier. My friends are running a tourney this weekend, and it's gonna be fun.

the only character i can beat a experienced fox player is with capt. falcon(which is also my best character)

Peach is fun to play. My brother get mad because he can't knock me off because I will flow back and not him off.

I played with different types of charaters and when I picked any of the speed people I killed all my friends XD. So I say my best charaters are Fox, Captain Falcon, and Marth (for his Sword Dance or what ever its called )

Pikachu, plain and simple. Don't let it's cuteness fool you; I've played against 3 of every character on hard mode (lv9, CPU) and emerged victorious every time. Pika pika chuu! xD;

I like using Fox, Marth, and Roy as well. :9

Fox and Falco are now the top tiered charas for SSBM and there's pretty good reasoning behind that. I don't care to play either one personally but they are really good. The only reason Fox is ranked above Falco is due to the little details that seperate the two in playing style like the shine spike. Of course Falco's pillaring could kill many or at least hurt them a lot. Drill shining is also insane *nods*

My favorite though would be Samus ^^ I can't wait to play as Zero Suit Samus in Brawl it's gonna be sweet >:]

Link and Zelda are by far the best characters, no contest. Also, I think that Mr. Game'n'Watch is a fun guy to goof around with if you're bored.

After Pokemon trainer i have no idea what to expect.

With the Pokemon trainer, I hope there's a female option, and not just male. The male they chose is the Ash/Red remake for FireRed/LeafGreen, so I dunno why they can't have the female as well. If not a separate entity, then a costume change? [lulz]

I'd like to see how it works out. If all the Pokemon get KOed, does the trainer lose? I somehow see it working like the Ice Climbers in Melee, you only control one, if that one is KOed, the second character goes as well. Mmm. We'll just have to see.

I REALLY hope there's a create-a-character mode, like in SC3 and many others. May be a bit gimmicky, but hey, it'll work.

And as for other characters, I'd really like to see someone from Golden Sun. Issac's the most likely contender, but I'd really like to see Mia or Sheba, though they'd be a bit tied down by their staffs [although it could be akin to Link's sword, for example].

Create a character huh? what would you do? make ur character then pick attacks from the other fighters? what would you do for the final smash? hm... it does sound like it would be cool but i really cant see it happening.

I love Melee! It's like the only game in existence that I can play after owning it for six years and still think it's almost as fresh as the first day I played it.

I can't wait for Brawl! I wonder which character will be revealed next? Pokemon Trainer was quite a shock... Not a bad shock necessarily, just a shock. XD
