I have cable, so I checked what was on tonight, and guess what. THEY ARE RERUNNING FMA!!! I've never seen the 1st episode in English, so I'm excited. Do you really think they will play the entire series again?
And if this is already a topic, please delete this one.

They may I'm not too sure, AS tends to change up all suddenly...But I think they will eventually...I seen this episode in english, its pretty funny to me(in some parts) and of course good. Oh and this is also the episode were Rose makes her first appearance and was actually a bit more happy...(lol)
Sikiu-San
*sighs* and so it begins again. But yeah, eventually we will revlive the world of fma. It just does not seem real that the series is over @_o *clings to the manga because its all she has left* DX <33333

-Questioned Look- Wth? Reruns? i was pretty sure adult swim would show a diff show or something

WAAAAAAAAAAH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I miss my new episodes, as much as I love every episode of FMA. It's just not the same!

They're also doing later episode reruns during the week. Saturdays are starting at episode 1, the Monday airing is around episode 30 I believe. I'm sure that won't last long though, once they find something to replace it with, they most certainly will.
strong_arm1
I was stunned they showed the first episode tonight. I had heard earlier (I can't remember if somone posted it here or someone just told me) that they were going to re-run the final episode again tonight. I admit it didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but I believed it anyways.
Oh well, I had only seen this episode once before, and I think I actually enjoyed it more this time around than the first. So, I'm not complaining. I'm sure they won't continue to show episodes from beginning to end at the Sat. 12:00 timeslot though. They will move it eventually to some other day and time.

I was really expecting them to show the reflections special as some sort of encore. Instead, they put weaboo Inuyasha back on weekend nights.

Adult Swim needs to air Helsing.

Damascus
I have yet to see Reflections, I've only heard rumors about it.

P.S.: Body of the Sanctioned tonight on AS!!!!
Full Blizzard Alchemist
Hey guys do either of you know the name of the very first theme song played in the anime of Full Metal Alchemist???
JoshP1389
Melissa by Porno Graffiti

"Porno Graffiti"?!?!?! ohmy.gif

*giggle giggle*
JoshP1389

Their stuff is pretty mediocre. Not my cup of tea.

I'm glad FMA is re-running. I was so devasted by the last episode --because of what happend and the fact that IT'S THE LAST EPISODE!!! -- that I cried. sad.gif But, we all know that we have to re-see what happens to Hughes! T___________T
sweety_pie
I saw a few episodes. And I was so confused. Then I heard that AS was going to re-run it and I was so happy. I just hope they don't up, and change the schedule. AS has ben known to do that before.

And hey Full Blizzard Alchenist, or whoever I thought it was Ready Steady Go, by L'arc-en-ciel. I don't know I geuss I'm wrong.
r315razor
No, the song Ready steady go is one of the theme songs, but not for the 1st episode. But ready steady go is the song that is played during the credits.

(Looking though all these posts... i'm like wow! I'm one of the only people in this thread that has seen ever episode in the series... 2-3 times ...)

@stone alchemist - Unless it's changed again, (which is quite possible) I think ir's Monday night, 10:30 Eastern time, and Saturday night, 9:30 Eastern time (tho I could be wrong. Please double check your local listings.) smile.gif

A sarcastic reward for you...at the quoted text in my previous response.

I have seen the series a couple of time and the movie once. i love that show! i think the one that just started over is on saturdays. tonights about the 2 kids to claim to be ed and al!
Ücälypse
Hmm...

Actually, I don't suggest watching FMA on Adult Swim...

I mean it's not the only show that runs in Adult Swim. You might miss the time because there are so many

shows in there... Like Futurama or Familiy Guy. Commercials that interrupt your joy and sometimes Adult

Swim randomly stops presenting FMA episodes. I suggest usuing other multi media to view FMA
Scarred Man of the East
Is there any episodes other than the 52 episodes they've shown on AS? Also, is the movie relative to the series? I was introduced to FMA on AS and have only seen the series but if there is more out there, I'm definitely interested.
Anime-Kat2002
No, there are just the 52 episodes. There are some OVAs though. I think there are three. I know there is one that takes place after the movie, a chibi ova, and an ova called "The State vs the Homunculi". I'm not sure about any others. The movie is related to the series. It picks up where the series left off with Ed being in our world and Al having his body back in the FMA world. I'm not gonna say anymore or I might spoil the movie. ^-^
Melxitm
Well, im not sure if the movie will be that related, cause Ive seen the begining, just for around 5 minutes and it starts off diffrently from where it left off. I didn't want to watch the rest because I didn't wanna be that spoiled. But I know it eventually leads off into the original story where it left off in episode 52.
The Movie, I heard, is to come out on September, somewhere around the 25th or 26th. (english dubbed).

Okay, I know I might sound retarted asking this dry.gif , but Anime-kat2002, what are OVA's? I mean, i used to know what that is, but I forgot.
Anime-Kat2002
OVA-Original Video Animation

They're not put on T.V usually. They're put on video. Sometimes they don't go along with the show and sometimes they do. In the case of the FMA Chibi OVA and The State vs the Homunculi OVA they don't go with the show. The other OVA kinda goes with the movie or well the end of the movie.

This very run of reruns that this thread is dedicated to is what really got me into FMA. I had seen a couple random episodes of FMA on Adult Swim, episodes near the end. There were like 5 episodes left, and I had really wanted to check this show out, so I checked the AS schedule online to see if I could catch the series from the beginning instead of completely ruining the ending. Luckily, these reruns started and I finally saw the series from the beginning! I've been watching on AS until the end of this week. Now, I've gotten impatient and have resorted to the last 4 volumes of the DVD series. I love Netflix!

@deadeye402 - Welcome to the board!! biggrin.gif
FMA's first run in the U.S. has completed months ago, but thanks to the reruns, we are still getting many new FMA fans, like yourself, joining this board, as well as people in other parts of the world who are now getting their first run of the series in their countries.
We have many forums devoted to FMA anime, FMA manga, as well as non-FMA discussions.
Hope you'll enjoy being on our board!! biggrin.gif
