The watercolor one you made is very nice, loved how it turned out with a very strong and sad story behind it too...I know if I did something like that, it would turn into a huge mess, never really was good with watercolors or even paints (lol). The Pride!Ed one turned out terrific as well, I loved how you color it. Has a very creative effect to it! And your signature is very nice, I love the design of it! I'm so busy for school I can't really draw anything. Together with two classmates, I have to make a website, 4 folders, a flyer, a poster, an advertisement, and 3 other things of which I don't know the name in english I've spent the past few weeks on designing them. I could show some designs if you want to, but I don't think that'll be very interesting

I don't have time for drawing, but I did make a photo this morning with my phone. The sky was just so beautiful. It's in the street behind my house. I adjusted it a bit in photoshop and this is what I got. Not much, but at least I can show you something.

I felt like making a flash animation, and this is what turned out. Don't look if you don't like RoyxEd! Well, actually it's not that bad, because it's just a very short kiss. Roy's head looks really ugly I drew it with the mouse. It's so hard to make an animation like that! I think Ed turned out ok for a mouse-drawing.

Your drawings seem a bit flat. Try using perspective and interesting poses more. Observe real people and the poses they're in. Artists must always pay attention to detail.

Even though I saved it, I can't find it anywhere! Sometimes, computers are so frustrating. And I don't feel like making another one. I was so happy about the way it turned out, it was much better than the RoyxEd one I studied some anime pics with people kissing before I made it, but it was all for nothing *sigh*

@ Ailuro - Yeah I know they're a bit flat. I'm no good at drawing poses, the proportions always aren't right and I just think it's very difficult. I just lend a book from the library to practice poses and stuff, so I'm working on it ^^ Anyway, thanks for the critisism, I always appreciate it. It helps to become a better artist. I don't really call myself an artist [yet] though

@ Ed-Al-Win Fan - I'd like to see and animation of you once you've made one! Are you getting Flash, too? It's a kind of crappy program, but they say it works better with windows (I've got a mac). Once you get the hang of it, you can make awesome things with it, but I'm still an amateur too ^^

Another thing I made. It took me hours to complete it, but you can't tell it took so much time. I had to kind of paint the whole photo over, because it was very grainy. Now it looks smooth ^^ I wanted to create a little 'painted' effect, but I'm not sure if I managed. Guess it turned out a little too smooth for that Girl in the pic is me. I was in a weird mood to take a picture like that XD

Sorry for not posting anything for such a long time. I've been so busy for school, so I didn't have time to draw anything. Anyway, I gave myself a color pencil lesson today I drew the pic some time ago, it's supposed to be Oni Link from the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Sometimes, pencils can be your worst enemy or your best friend. I hate it that I'm left-handed, I always mess things up because I go over the drawing with my while I'm drawing, leaving ugle grey smudges. I really can't help it.


This is a recent picture I've done. It was a black and white photoo Kirsten Dunst, and I added the color and some effects. It's the best colorize I've made so far ^^

Thank you all so much for your comments! Wow, it's really been a long time since I've posted something. I'm working on a more realistic looking Ed, and on a drawing I'm making for The New Fullmetal Alchemist's contest.

I can show a doodle I did for that contest. I'm not really satisfied about the poses, I need constructive criticism! Somehow, it doesn't look natural. And well, I was just too lazy to draw Roy's other arm

I had no reference picture or whatsoever, I couldn't find one in the right pose. And I messed up their clothes because I didn't have a reference pic. I really don't know what Roy's uniform looks like And the pastel colors are just hell. It gets smudged all over the paper! I only used them because you can blend the colors so nicely with them. Way better than color pencils. Anyway, when I've got the final pic finished, I'll show it. Same goed for the 'realistic' pic.

Wow, I love it, the colors are very pretty and blend so well together. I agree pastels are good for the technique but yeah on the down side they can be messy...But then again your making something good out of it. I think the pose is good in my opinion...Poses can be pretty hard to do, thats why I have to look at something, when I try to draw mine, if I draw out of head it will look a mess...However your's is really good in my opinion for not using a reference...I'm looking forward to your other works!:)

@ Untitled - Thank you! No, I don't take drawing lessons, I just keep practising. I draw a lot at school though. I study multimedia design, which includes a lot of sketching, drawing and painting and stuff.


I made three variations of the following one, I'm not sure which one I like best. I think the last one. The pose was so difficult! I used different materials: pastel colors, (colored) pencils, charcoal and the computer. This is what I got.

I like the first one very much. It's nothing special, but I liked the effect of it. I didn't really finish the second one but I still like it, the effect on that one makes it look kind of childish. And I think the third one is the best for the contest. I don't think I'll win, but it's fun to participate, right?

Hmm.. I've read some parts of the story of that contest you're in and I think that the 3rd one suits the occasion. WONDERFUL artworks BTW, you've got such magical hands that produce AMAZING artpieces.. I'm so jealous at how well you draw.. *dies*

I've been to lazy to finish the coloring of the Ed drawing. I might finish it once I feel like it.
But, I finally finished a drawing again for the first time in months I made it for my grandfather, he's turning 82 today. I don't know if he'll like it, but I hope so I'm quite satisfied with the hair.

I made something today at school! I'm actually kinda proud of it, it's so cute! I made it together with two classmates. It's a short animation, made with the motion/stop technology. We took a picture, moved the figures a little, then took another picture and so on. We made 69 pictures in total to make this short animation of 4 seconds.
It's an angel girl on the bike, and the other one is an angel boy. Hope you like it

Got another drawing finished. I made it for the 1000+ hits on deviantART! But the main reason was that I felt very inspired by beautiful pics of Yoshiki, from his photobook 'Naked'. He's just so beautiful. Anyway, the ribs and stomach were the hardest parts, I'm still not completely satisfied. But I had to leave it this way, otherwise I was afraid I would tear the paper. I like the way the hair turned out though. Hope you like it too, because I'm kinda pround of this drawing


Edit: I coloured the drawing in Photoshop. Smoothing the whole image took a pretty long time. Finding the right colors even longer XD

I've been away for a while... never had time to finish any of my drawings. And if I had time, I didn't feel like finishing an old drawing, so I started a new one... I have a Kozi, Gackt, Gackt and Klaha, and two Mana drawings laying here unfinished, and some OC manga style characters. And I don't feel like finishing any of them. But I think I will finish the Mana and Kozi ones, because I like them XD

Anyway, I got myself a pen tablet! It's a Wacom Volito, the cheapest Wacom there is XD I wanted to try it out, and now there was a special offer, so I bought it. I still have to get used to it, it's hard to handle at first! Here's the first thingy I made with it, after experimenting a little. It turned out very very small XD But I think it's ok for a first little drawing. I drew it all without reference or whatsoever.
