I just saw the first part of the movie at some sites...
but it was cool that they're gonna be dubbing the conquerer of shambala! How about the gypsy who kinda looks like rose? Do you guys think that she'll have the same voice as rose?

I know, huh. I always thought she was the alternate of Rose, but then again, if you think about it, her name isn't Rose, so it couldn't be. You see, everyone's alternate has the same exact name. And her name is...I forgot. Dammit, how could I forget? But it isn't Rose.

I don't think Noah is Rose though simply because Ed never recats to her appearance like when he see's other doubles(alot of whom are conviniently in Germany)

Will FUNimation keep the orginal voice actors? I know when the Yu Yu Hakusho movies came out, they had different voice actors. I think it would be a hell of a lot better keepings the orginal voice actors.

Technically the movies came out before Funimation got the rights to the TV series. Other anime companies have different VA casts.

The Movie will have the same cast as Funimation has the whole franchise this time around.

I read a while back that CN had no plans to air the movie. That was a while ago though, so they may have changed their mind by now. Does anyone know when it will come out on DVD in the US?

In all fairness, they said that before it even had a release date. I would be SHOCKED if they didn't show it, but if it works like the 3rd Inuyasha movie, they won't show it for at least 6 mo after it's initial release due to licensing rules.

It also looks like the schedule for DVD release of the series is being upped so that volume 13 comes out at the same time as the Movie.. IN OCTOBER.

They'll have to start releasing faster than every other month then. Do you have the link to that?

But anyway, about them getting the license...

REALLY?! REALLY?! REALLY?! REALLY?! AHHHHHHHH!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

SORRY BUT WHAT DOES LICENSE MEAN?

SORRY BUT WHAT DOES LICENSE MEAN?
@Silent Whisper - Welcome to the board!! In this case, it means the right to show the FMA movie (most likely English dubbed) in the U.S.A. and/or piut the movie on DVD (most likely with English dubbing) and sell in the U.S.A., I think. smile.gif
tinlunlau
i bought the dvd already.
it's legit and it's from hong kong. but i am already figuring that i will make the double-dip for the english. the special features in the hong kong edition was sparse. i hope that the american dvd release will include all the special features and the "premium collection" as Vic Mignogna has hinted.

Well according to one of the little post cards from funimation they are stating a limited theater release. So it shall join the ranks of Ghost in the Shell 2 and Cowboy Bebop and the two Miyazaki films.
