Actually, in the anime the date of the day Ed went to the other side was October 2nd. 1916

Damn! Dammit all to Hell and back, I missed that episode. Or at least, 10 min of it, then I became so upset while I watched the last 15 to 20 minutes, I couldn't focus and therefore missed out on one of the best episodes!!!

woooow, i like this episode! awesome duude! lol...it was kind of weird when winry(envy) would actually say that "Alphonse, you are the one I've always loved!" That was creepy! lol. I dont know why he would say something stupid like that. How did that guy ( I forgot his name ) become half guy and half robot form?? I know Izumi was going to kick his ass when she was fighting with him, lol. Wrath NEEDS to die!! He is WAYY! too annoying, seriously. I knew theres was something wrong with Mustang at the beginning of the episode when i THOUGHT it was Mustang, but it was really Havoc. It was funny when farery was in disguise as Hawkeye, lol. Mustang look HoTt! when he was in disquise as Havoc, lol. So yeah this episode was VERY interesting. I know i forgot to comment on something else on the episode but I'll reply on that part later. I CAN NOT wait for the next episode!! Only 3 more episodes to go...sadly *teardrop*

can't wait to see the izumi/terminator archer fight! my favorite character vs my most hated villain! don't spoil anything for me, but i have a bad feeling about this, i think all that blood izumi coughs up is foreshadowing....

at the end of the show, Al said, in both english and in the subtitled version, [not exact quote] "on the night of September 2nd, 1916, 16 demons flew over london"
in the next episode [spoiler] u will see that this is reffering to the night of September 2nd, 1916, when 16 german zeppelins flew over london and attempted to attack the city, as they have raided England with bombs beforehand, but not with the amount of force exerted on the evening of the 2nd... If the anime date in the next episode says Oct. (which i doubt it will, since i saw it subtitled) then it is a typo.
The germans attacked the city of London with exactly 16 zeppelins on Septemeber 2nd, and the only other time they invade with around that number was, i believe, September 24
u should now understand that no matter how much u believe ur theory of when Ed's birthday is, according to the show, the fact that Al said the date September 2nd, 1916, the fact that in 1915 the germans haven't attacked London like this yet, and that if this attack displayed in the show is accurate according to date and occurence (there are 16 zeppelins over London the night Ed crosses over) - then there's no way the year can be 1915, NOR can the date be October 2nd [/spoiler]

those who want to know about the controversy concerning the dates mentioned above should read the spoiler (only if u have watched all of the episodes of course )
and i agree with Jen_Elric and appologise if my original post concerning dates may have spoiled something (tho, it really shouldn't, it's only about dates in the show... so this time, just in case, i put in in spoiler tags)

i'm a lil' late but i loved this episode! i finally caved and saw the subs on youtube i wish i did'nt but i did sooo what's done is done so anyway! i really really hate Envy but the part when he/she made to look like Winry and he/she said " Alphonse, you're the one i always loved!!" it gets me everytime! but that was mean still v_v why must Aru be so gullible...but then again i would also be creeped out if my childhood friend said that to me ^^; oh and i.hate.Archer!! i'm sorry to the Archery club but when he goes after Izumi-sensei *cracks knuckles* it's personel >:( *borrows Molecular Alchemist's bleach and taps into Scar's power* so now he can rust and be blown to itty bitty knitty pieces! dieeeeee!!!!!! *ahem* anyhoo, i loved the bonding between Edo and the junshou it was so sweet and Edo's last sentence of that is my favorite quote now!

In Lior Scar activated that huge transmutation circle causing the blast. Archer didn't listen to Ed's warning and went in to get Scar anyway. Basically...

Archer's Arrogance + Army + Capturing Scar - Ed's Warning = Lot's of people going "boom"

It actually makes almost no logical sense that Archer's alive considering he got hit head on by the blast, suffered major blood loss and lost a good part of his body. But due to some magical automail surgery on him he turned half-cyborg.

*looks around* I need to get started on a bleach shield or something.

Izumi may have had an advantage on Archer with his gun and introduction skills...

But she has no chance against the new and improved Million-dollar-Man Archer...or Mecha-Archer...or Robo-Archer...or Termin-Archer...or Arch-i-nator...or Fullmetal-Archer...or Tank-head...

She is going down! DOWN!

This felt like a unusually fast-paced episode to me, like they squeezed about 45 minutes to an hour's worth of story into 30 minutes. It was good though, expect for two things. I'm very surprised that Ed and Izumi didn't immediately go after Envy (he can't be hard to spot while he's holding Al). And I'm not sure I like Robo-Archer. Seems a bit over the top. I think I would've preferred if they had turned him into a really cool-looking and advanced Chimera. That seems like it would be more appropriate for this show. But, oh well.

You forget how fast Envy is, also it took a while for Ed and Izumi to deal with the whole "wrath" thing. Envy was long gone by then.

Alchemic Boom- Did someone say Bleach??? As in the Anime?? I LOVE that show!

Hahaha...exactly. We have to watch the scene....there's a lot of good info....but, it just..spins, and spins and spins and.......you get the point....then ends on some strange angles. Though the angles rock, because they're different.....

it also makes no sense that people can alter reality by drawing geometric patterns or clapping their hands together. it's a fantasy show, let's roll with it.

Okay I know I'm late on replying on this episode...But anyway I still wanted to leave opinion for it (lol)

First off, it was very excellent episode, and yet it was sad....I figured that had to be Envy when I saw that Winry there from out of no where...I was a bit surprised with the shouting Envy added in "Alphonse your the one I always love"...I was kind of like puzzled myself when I heard it...It sounded kind of like a partner relationship sort of thing, instead of a family relationship...but maybe thats just me, I guess it was the way it was said...Anywho Wrath is one insane little boy, he is confused...I could actually see how hurt Izumi was when he neglected her as his mother...Also I was laughing at the part with the boys(forgot their names lol) from episode 11, how they got locked up for once again pretending to be the elric brothers...Didn't they have enough the first time pretending to be them? (lol) And lastly the part with Ed and Roy was very nice, and I was already starting to get a little misty when they were about to depart from one another, and now I'm seeing its going to get even sadder or even more intense...But it was awesome episode. Sad. But awesome of course.
Oh yeah Tucker has totally went loo-loo in the head...He just doesn't see the reality of the situation...(lol)

Meh, I'm so late putting my opinion here..but I figured I might as well share my thoughts on this episode.

In my honest opinion.. the only person I felt really sorry for when I watched this episode was Tucker ( so there ) I think what Sloth had said to him really pushed him over the edge..and now he's forever stuck in denial that his little girl is alive, when in fact she's just a lifeless doll.

The part where he's trying to get Nina to look at Ed almost had me tearing up..and if you hear what he says when he's walking down into the basement it just goes to show you how much he loves his daughter.
Since he says.." Don't worry Nina, daddy will keep you safe" well that was heart-breaking enough for me.

I did feel just a *bit* sorry for Ed considering the circumstances..but poor Wrath took it much worse than what he did.

Ahh Robo Archer ^^; , I wonder what it must be like for him to open his mouth up really wide ( when firing the canon) though.. and in more ways than one, he's more or less the walking dead..I mean even though this is a fantasy, no one could live after getting one half of their body blown off..could they? O.o

Some people consider this episode to be just an "in between" episode connecting Ed vs. Sloth with the last three episodes. Nothing could be furhter from the truth. Though it's not my favorite episode, it's pretty damn close.
First of all the eposide starts off great with Sloth dying. I feel sorry for Trucker, though I'm not sure if he realized he didn't bring Nina back. Robo-Archer pretty cool. A gun in his mouth - now that's pretty bad ass.
But my favorite part is the very end, with Mustang and Ed in the car. To me, Ed's one statement in that car sums up the entire series. He says: "Even when our eyes are closed, there's a whole world out there, that lives outside ourselves and our dreams."
