Sorry if this was posted before, but I'm curious as to see what Anime other's dislike. I haven't really watched any I minded too much.. that is.. until tonight.

Variable Geo

Worst anime I've seen yet.

Description: Variable Geo; an anime that involves melee WAITRESSES in the ultimate tournament for the title of "Worlds Strongest Waitress".If they win a match, they gain respect and the chance to move forward in the competition. If they lose, they have to strip down naked in front of millions of people, losing their pride and dignity. It consisted of women of all color and size, and over-exagerated breasts, in their own respective uniform, duking it out in a ring that appears from the ground. To add to the awefulness, it was a Dub, and sounded like Porn Stars did the voice acting. I don't recommend this Anime to anyone.

a lot of people will hate me for this but...

one of the animes that i loathe the most is... fushigi yuugi...

there are a lot of stupid animes full of cliche and stereotypical characters *cough* ragnarock the animation... detective loki ragnarock *cough*, but there are those that i loathe...

*calmly dodges all rotten fruits and veggies being thrown at her by rabid Fushigi Yuugi and Ragnarock fans*

Yes! All the cliche anime need to go away!

A couple examples:

Tokyo Underground --> do we really need another ninja-wannabe sucked into another dimension with a sweet-looking princess?

Tokyo Mew Mew --> what is this, another name for Sailor Moon Z??? And uh... the title alone sounds very hentai, if you ask me...

hahaha, i strongly agree with both titles... just seeing the characters of tokyo underground makes me sleepy.

i don't particularly hate Flame of Recca but this anime is just full of anime cliche. really, it's like watching Yu yu hakusho all over again.

Dragon Ball Z....It would have been mildy interesting if it was half it's length and had less constipated yelling...

and don't forget: "planet namek is blowing up in...five minutes!!" 10 episodes later: "planet namek is blowing up in....one minute!!" 5 episodes later: "planet namek is blowing up in....THIRTY SECONDS!"

or something like that well i still like dragonball, but it gets a little ridiculous sometimes. i can't really think of a series i hate. hmm, i read the first volume of initial d and didn't see the appeal. i guess guys only like it for the cars, cause i didn't find the plot very thrilling and the art wasn't that great. everybody's expression was some variation of -__- it seemed.

The manga is awesome, though. I love Toriyama Akira's artwork. Simple yet detailed.

hehehe, yeah, DBZ was frustrating to watch with all those timeline. geez, to episodes doesn't even move into 10 minutes of their time sometimes.

but nonetheless i watched it for the humor...

Record of Lodoss War, I have it on DVD (unfortunately) it's really boring

Hmm I saw the dubbed version of the wind warriors yesterday, and it was RUBBISH. Hopefully the subbed version will be better.

DBZ did sort of suck as well, especially GT. The whole thing got so confusing...

but... I loved Record of Lodoss war (OAV)...

It's Chronicles of a Knight (tv series) that i hated.

I just love parn and deedlit in the oav along with the original cast.

but the tv series, feat. spark and cleese and those other characters that i don't even want to care about... eeeep... nevermind. I only watched the tv series for the sd-parody welcome to lodoss island that came after every ep.

the tv series sucked... but i'm impressed with their music... composed by the great yoko kanno, OP sung by maaya sakamoto... too bad the story was kinda stupid.

the oav was definitely better. i always thought parn, being the hero of the story, would, as usual, defeat the bad guys... in the end, all he wanted to do was save deedlit and the 2 evil guys finished each other off. the art was superb! especially the design of the dragons!

the tv series is like the continuation of the oav which really sucked.

*trying to defend oav... at least the oav... the tv series was bad anyway*

yup and Trunks hair was too dark i have to say with that rubbish clothes

I expect countless rabid fans to rip my flesh from my bones for this, but what the hell.....

The worst I've seen is probably the entire Dragon Ball franchise, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and (especially) Azumanga Daioh. *shudders*

I HATED Dragonball Z. GT wasn't too bad though. But man . . . if you want a voice-acting job on that anime, all the qualifications you need are convincing grunts and groans.

anyway... maboraho... i've seen this one too and it's an Ah my goddess rip off!! typical 3 girls: sexy one, perfect one, and bratty one; and one hapless timid guy who, of course, likes the perfect one.

I just avoid anime that doesn't look like it'll be any good. To be honest, I don't really watch that much anime to speak of. Maybe 2 or 3 new shows a year.

But out of the ones I've seen, the only one I really strongly disliked was Ninja Scroll.

The first season of Record of Lodoss war is okay (the one with parn and deedlit) but the second one really suxx (the one with spark or whatever his name is :?)

I'll agree about Reign wholeheartedly. Those guys are anorexic by barbie standards....

I don't know about Robin, though. I thought it wasn't that bad. Not the best, admittedly, but it held its own for the most part.

Agree. The characters just look horrible and what is up with the trend of anime where kids battling things with each other and get all emotional? I mean, the kids don't actually fight, they only WATCH. Other examples include Beyblade and Monster Rancher. Boy, how pointless.

I actually like Digimon. I admit the first season is kind of stupid with all the gear-affected monsters episodes, and hell, there are so many other stupid things throughout the series, but I appreciate the artwork.

lol Yu-Gi-Oh is so horrible.. and I hate it when Anime is commercial. I mean.. you can actually buy the cards. My little brother (who is 10) plays them all the time with his 10 yr old friends. I'm kinda embarresed to say I actually liked an episode.

i never liked naruto. I know every man and his dog liked it, but i thought the art was ugly, and it just never grabbed me.

and i don't like any dragonball, chrno crusade, love hina again.. and that's about all i've seen and not liked...

monster rancher i liked as a video game, but definitely not the anime.

yugioh... the only reason i watched it was because of mai and joey... the story sucked. the whole thing sucked.

Digimon, i never liked the first season, watched 2nd season for ken and miyako, loved the tamers, frontiers was stupid.

i started loving this anime and towards the end i hated it... INUYASHA... i hate it so much because i loved it so much at first that i bought so much collectibles like wall scrolls and plushies but then when naraku wasnt going anywhere... the series started filling with fillers... what made me really hate it though was the end... naraku still didn't die!!! what a waste ... so mad at myself>_<

Dragon ball would had been good if it werent for the whole reviving thing... i mean if a character dies he is dead... make it exciting or something... but also america ruined the series... so badly... the only damage that came from jap was the GT series...sigh... what a mistake that was

Monster Rancher, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh... It seems like all the "popular" anime that was produced at that time wasn't done so well...(that's putting it nicely, though I did like the first season of Digimon.)

maybe because it's already past our childhood age that we don't appreciate such titles as the others do. but, then again, yugioh...

anyway, so nothing changed with the end of inu yasha?! that sucks! all this time we waited on what will happen when they finally defeat him and now... oh well...

I love : Inuyasha , tokyo mew mew, Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun, cowboy bebop, Witch Hunter robin, Chobits andAyashi on Ceres nad Fruits basket and lastly Card captor sakura

I hate : Dragonball Z - dragonball GT , SAILOR Moon, Pokemon, Digimons OK but still pretty bad, gundam wing, and transformers and yeah..^^

Yeah, that's probly the reason we don't appreciate them anymore.
My little brother still loves all of the above DBZ(GT) (He doesn't have a clue there's an original DB), Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh. Monster Rancher, although still somewhat new to American TV, is still a little old for his time. He doesnt recognize them as Anime. I don't even think he comprehends the different artistic values. He just thinks of them as cool cartoons. Ah, those were the days...

Fushigi Yuugi was already mentioned, but I have to mention it again.

The soup opera of anime. You'd just want to shoot the main character DEAD. Or strangle. Or slap. Either way I wanted to stomp her 6 feet under. It's a never-ending thing. The main whiney girl's so insecure, and the main guy she's harping for is so densed. I can't even count the number of times they had misunderstandings and the main girl just run off into some random alley and some perverts who want to take advantage of her. AND, most of the characters died, then they were featured in their reincarnated versions in the OVA, and when they recalled their past lives, they reverted to their past carnation's form. I know it's fantasy but that was plain dumb...

I thought Soultaker was another bad anime as well. -_-; That one I truly regret even laying eyes on.

hehehe, soultaker, at the start, was rather interesting... but the plot went downhill later on.

Hahah, I love Fushigi Yuugi's haters. I never understood what the big deal was. I simply don't like shoujo anime where the main character is whiny and helpless and stuff. (Including Sailor Moon. I gotta admit sometimes the mangaka drew cute faces, but ay, she's semi-hentai. And she's a female!)

and i really hate POKEMON!!!! it really suckz well they made poke:blue,red,sliver,gold,crastal,ruby,shapphire and god knows whats next

Monster Rancher was horrible. And I love the games to death. One of my favorite series. I own them all. I felt like going on a rampage after I saw the anime. But I guess deep inside I suspected it would be pretty bad.

Heat Guy J had to be one of the stupidest things I ever saw. Saw a couple trailers for it and thought it looked intersting. Download the first couple dvds and couldn't get any further than the first one.

If Ragnarok The Animation was based off the manwha instead of the game(even though the game was great) it could have had the chance of being really good. Not enough anime adaptions for manwhas out there.

yeah well they only put new pokemon and other features like having an egg and etc:

pokemon releases all these version and all those monsters and merchandise for one thing and one thing alone... profit.

Ragnarok the animation wasn't based on the manwha... it's totally different. it's based on the game itself... and it sucks big time! i hate how all the characters are so stereo-typical along with the story and i especially HATE what they turned the merchant class into (my favorite class)!!!

screw the creators!!! may they all burn in commercial hell!!!

But I've got to admit, the original versions of Pokemon (Red, Green, and Yellow) were pretty good. (Especially for a gameboy at that time.)

i still love pokemon the game, the show, etc....it's definitely smart marketing, if it's lasted this long and is still relatively popular

Ruby and Shappire well its abit dumb cas i have a good idea u know when u get your first pokemon well mine was female and i put it with a boy at a day care center and i had an egg soz i hatched (takes awhile) and it was the first poke i had and i made my whole pokemon the same kind cool it

i don't have a gameboy (/nintendo 64/gamecube/ps1/ps2/xbox/etc), i used to play the old games on my friend's or on my computer with an emulator. but she got the gameboy advance this summer and the games, except i'm so swamped over with homework and college apps so i told her not to lend it to me until next year ;; the first game was awesome though. my parents don't understand why i'm this old and still like pokemon

on topic, though....i used to like yu-gi-oh but it's just gotten stupid lately. and the only one of the english seiyuu i like is jounouchi's, the rest are a little annoying.
