Umm... Did you understand me right? In my case, The 2003 Fma anime is the better version because of the deep emotions it makes me experience. Brotherhood is more actiony as you said it and it is not bad. I'm just an emotional person and there needs to be deep bonds with the characters and I really want to feel sorry for the characters. FMA B hasn't made me feel this, but I still watch it because of curiosity (and plot).

Naruto and Shippuden

I love the manga. But when they dubbed it went down.
Some of the dubbed was okay I hated the voices.

Bleach Dubbed wasn't worth watching.

Elfen Lied. I used to love it but overtime I noticed that it was basically just over excess of blood... fan service. it really didn't need so many... scenes... And there was almost no character developement. Seriously....

ed's a total brat in it and they draw him terribly.
the early episodes have terrible animation because there is a huge lack of movement of the characters.
al's personality is kind of bratty too in brotherhood.
but what really bothers me is how on tv they say "coming up next, fullmetal alchemist" and then it plays fullmetal alchemist BROTHERHOOD. thats so annoying because now if I say I love fullmetal alchemist people might think I meant BROTHERHOOD!! ;_;

oh yeah and wrath is king bradley?!
I loved the wrath in the original anime and he's not even in brotherhood. instead he's replaced by an old guy ;_; </3

I have a general rule of thumb to not watch anime that I don't like. I give it an episode or two, which is horrible, but if I don't like it after that I move on. I'll read the manga, but it's gotta be good to watch an anime that didn't get a good first impression. But the ones I absolutely didn't like, first two episodes, were Naruto, Soul Eater(I think that's the name?), and Elfen Lied.

I've never liked Naruto. The fanbase didn't give me a reason to, either.
Soul Eater was a lot of nudity and blood in the first episode. I wasn't impressed.
I liked the Elfen Lied manga....but I hated what they did to the anime. Again, too much blood and too many naked girls. -sigh-

Some animes just went to fanservice. I thought parts of even FMA went to fanservice, like Ed's shower and Winry's bath....XD

I was almost on the verge of dropping soul eater . Because of the nudity , but thankfully , i didn't . . And i'm glad .

Elfen lied was great . . It had a great story , great plot . But seriously , the nudity made me cringe . .

out of manga, there are a lot of good ones, however, anime has some down sides...

however, if it's an anime show, then I can definitely share! Fruits Basket is what it's called. A show about Tohru Honda who discovered the Sohma family's curse by them being possessed by the vengeful spirit of the zodiac, its god, and the cat.

though, yes, it is very entertaining, and funny, what I really don't like about the show is the fact that it ends after 26 episodes, Akito, the antagonist, changes too quickly, and you don't even get to meet the final characters. it starts off as a sweet romance in the book, but the show ruins it!

My brother asked our whole family to watch 'Shugo Chara!' with him... god knows why. It's repetitive & predictable (since it's clearly aimed at little kids) so I just gave up on it. Plus the main character's tendency to perv over every single guy around her really isn't endearing IMO. ¬¬

You obviously have never read the manga. The manga came FIRST. So, the anime Wrath you love so much, was the replacement. NOT Bradley. He was the original Wrath.

Peach Girl is... ugh. I don't like it at all. From what I've seen, the main character is just some dumb, over-dramatic teenager, who is in love with 2 boys and can't decide between one or the other, and has a friend(?) who just tries to mess up her life. It's really annoying.
I can imagine it's the kind of thing that the fans of Twilight would like: crazy, unnecessary drama.

I never liked Demash!ta! Powerpuff Girls Z either. The original PPG is the best.

I love the manga, adore it even. But the anime not only strayed from the original storyline but the characters...ugh, they looked 10 feet tall and the animation was pretty bad :/
xxxHolic anime was the same >.< I was quite disappointed.

Another one would be BLEACH. Only Tite Kubo can draw those characters; when I saw them in the anime, they looked rather awkward and stiff, out of proportion, as though they were 'tall chibi's :/ ...Well, 'chibis' in reverse: their bodies were alright, but their heads looked too small.
But whatever, the manga is much better...but not by far XD *shot*

I have to say the anime i loath the most are:

8 Clouds Rising- had no ending and yes I know its an OVA but still, two episodes and they COULD have gone father.... would have made a great anime.

Princess Resurrection- Absolutely terrible. What was irritating, the kid in the story died EVERY two seconds and most of the series was about reviving him again and again and agian....

I watched/read it a really long time ago...but I *hate* Boys Over Flowers.
