I want Fire Red and Leaf Green. They're supposed to be the remakes of the original versions.

Also, I just wanted to add, the anime series of Pokemon wasn't that bad. I loved the Orange League, and AG seems pretty good... (yes, I'm one of those very few still existing Pokemon fans. >.<)

Okay... I didn't know they did such wreckless translating for Yu-gi-oh.... It sounds... cheesy.

I usually catch it because there's some good anime after that. Don't love it but don't hate it (it's that sorta anime for the younger audience), but it just ended it's run for good anyway (well, for Yuugi's side anyway, some new series taking the same name is coming up with fresh characters).

Side note: Do take a listen to Pegasus's Japanese voice. I think anyone in the right frame of mind would take the English dub over it. XD I've never heard a more ghey voice in anime before.

to me, it's Yu Gi Oh! the English version.. it's really weird.. and also CardCaptor Sakura the English version, not the japanese tho..

yeah, i hate how in the english versions they change character names into english names....like in yu-gi-oh, jounouchi-->joey, anzu-->tea, honda-->tristan, in CCS tomoyo-->madison, yukito-->julian, touya-->tori. i also hated sakura's seiyuu, and how everyone pronounced her name "sa-KU-Ra." in shaman king the voices are ok, with the exception of ren's english accent. but i hate how they changed horohoro-->trey, manta-->morty, ryou-->rio, ren-->lenny (occasionally), and hao-->ZEKE. zeke, what a MENACING name.

seriously, pretty much the only ones kept were yoh and anna, because anna is just anna, and yoh is....well, if you have problems pronouncing "yoh" then you really DO have problems. oh, and amidamaru, bason, lyserg, and silva. can't do anything weird with those unless you rename amidamaru andy and bason barry. "barry! SPIRIT CONTROL!" changing tamao-->tammy wasn't as scarring. but still.

i think they tried to keep pirika too but it ended up as pillica, ew. dubbers have trouble with R's ;;


and my gosh, i just realized that there are more emoticons than the 15 to the side of the screen. *slaps self*

Shaman King is okay in the manga, but yeah, I hate the dubbed version.

Actually, anything dubbed is pretty bad...damn Americans (no offense ) with their bad translations.

Duel Masters or whatever you call it is the worst I've seen by far. It's like a replicatoin of Yu-Gi-Oh! all over again...except Egypt's out of the picture

I hate Duel Monsters....Jeez, I have a better time watching Pokemon.

Actually, Pokemon's a pretty descent show....at times, but after awhile, everything starts to look the same.

Same with Inuyasha. Can't stand Inuyasha sandwich fillers anymore.

Once watched this filler episode then another, and they were exactly the same except different setting and yokai

oh, just remembered... have you guys heard of Dear Boys? it's another basketball-centered anime like Slam Dunk, only with more bishonen... now that one was stupid! Of course the cute guy who looks like Kaede Rukawa is the main character! and of course, the captain is also a bishonen and only both of them rule the court with impossible moves that contradict real basketball movements... of course they always win because of the two... what crap...

Oh dear lord I felt like throwing my TV out the window when I saw Dear Boys. I was only watching it because Gungrave was airing right after it. Disgusting show. Big animation, big voices, no plot. GUH.

yeah, impossible moves winning it for the team, reminds me of prince of tennis....which, don't get me wrong, i LOVE ugh, i don't like rukawa. he reminds me too much of sasuke from naruto. i like sakuragi better, and he's a dork like naruto XD

i liked rukawa and am annoyed by haruka...

naruto, i liked sasuke at first, but then he became boring and gave my attention to hinata, temari, kiba and shikumaru sakura and ino are annoying...

another anime that i don't get is "super gals"... it's always about Ran, even if the episode is supposed to be another character's. it's not even funny, the plot is... what plot? i guess my days as a shojo anime fan is over... if i saw this back in my early high school days, i might have flipped.

Never saw the Battle Angel Alita dub. Always looked scary. Loved the manga, didn't want the dub anime to ruin that for me.

I forgot about Ai Yori Aoshi. First 4 episodes were great. Once it hits episode 5 NOTHING happens. It just becomes another anime about one guy lives in a house with a bunch of women who are all in love with him.

Was Duel Masters even an anime? Looked like a co pro.

clow cards were useless? well, not really. i know various ways of using them, hehehehe... card captor sakura was my one favorite clamp title... why? because of all of their works, this one actually made sense and didn't have a stupid endings like chobits, x/1999 and RG Veda.

Seems to me like there isn't one anime out there which has a real satisfying end.

Honestly, I think that can be said about anything on tv. American shows also tend to have unsatisfactory endings (except for MASH, that was great closure).

Well, I guess the worse anime for each person differs. In my case, I'm not particularly fond of animes who have anything to do with competitions and tournaments and such. So that pretty much throws all the Dragonball seasons, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, Flame of Recca, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, etc. etc. etc. out of the window for me...

But the worst anime I've seen, in my opinion? Hmm. Uhh.... hmm. I can't decide. (sweatdrop)

Yup, I always end up finding channels over here that do MASH marathons of sorts, which include the last episode. Its basically a season finale movie. Quite touching last scene, I must say. *sniff*

. . . My favorite animes are being dissed . . . I kinda like Yu-Gi-Oh, although the plot and the main character was bad. His hairstyle. OMG his HAIR! Its like a rainbowfied porcupine. The manga version was horrible. In the first few books, the art was a nightmare and I don't think there even is a plot. From 11 onwards it got WAY better. The only reason I watch it is because I adore Bakura and Malik.
I like pokemon. The anime was bad, there are way too many characters, and yet I still like it.
I don't think there are any others I like, tho.

And yeah, F. Yuugi and Sailor Moon sucked badly.

i didn't like yu-gi-oh. it takes like 2-4 episodes to have one duel, and has no plot, i did however play the card game and that was pretty cool. if you liked pokemon the card game i would recommend this

Touching end? ....I hate it when endings make people cry. Though if it's a "good" touching end... I could forgive them.

Pokemon, Duel Masters, Yu-Gi-Oh, and all that ghetto fake shit I hate...Yu-gi-oh, the characters a four-year old could draw (literally, i've seen them), Pokemon's original episodes weren't horrifying, but the epsiodes now are just "I'm the main character, so I always win!". Duel Masters is such an obvious rip-off of Yu-Gi-Oh and the trading card game Magic: The Gathering.

I seriously would rather watch Powerpuff girls rather than these shows. Actually...I do. ^^

Two other shows, Transformers: Energon and SD Gundam. Stupid shows...

Torx, you didn't like Ah My Goddess? i thought it was a great series. i loved how they implied norse mythology so well that it was actually believable. the movie was also cool. all the good stuff remained in the manga though, the anime got only the intro.

Ah My Goddess has an awesome artwork. For that to have only 5 episodes is really sad. Good thing there's still the manga. The manga is also less cliche than the anime. Kind of not realistic, if you ask me, but that's all right.
