Inuyasha is my ultimate favorite. Nothing against FMA, which comes in a close second- but IY was the first anime I really got hooked on.

Favorite anime? I have to agree with K_A_B on this, I think it's impossible for me to pick a favorite out of everything I've seen and/or heard of so far. But if I had to choose it'd be Full Metal Alchemist (for the moment ).

Oh yeah, FAKE is pretty good. I prefer it more as a manga though. same with Gravitation for that matter. I preferd Gundam X to Wing.

Hm-hm, I agree. The OAV was too short, 45 minutes or so. Way too short. But Seki as Dee's seiyuu was great, so I can forgive them.

True. Seki makes any anime good. He has a great voice acting skill. Most anime I buy will have the voice work of Seki tomokazu or Hikaru midorikawa. Is Yami no Matsuei good. I was thinking of getting it but wanted a second opinion.

I only have the fansubbed version, since I haven't been able to find Yami no Matsuei on DVD anywhere. But if I do find them, I'll be sure to get my hands on those DVDs (if I have the money at least!).

Yami no Matsuei is one of the 'newer' anime out there, meaning the character desings are a notch above the average, but movements might be a bit... how do you call it again? Houterig, houterig... ;;; Let's just say the movements are a bit lacking sometimes. Still, character designs, cool story and great voice acting combined... I'd say go for it!

Between brackets, though, I think I prefer the manga version of Yami no Matsuei; some of the volumes have been cut out of the anime versions since it's only 13 eps in length, but I like the character designs of the manga better. But again, it's not a waste of money if you do decide to purchase the anime!

Gravitation? What's Gravitation? Oh, I love pulling your leg, it seems. Of course I know Gravitation and yes it's sweet, very sweet if you actually like Yuki/Shuichi. Sorry to say I don't particularly like Shuichi or that pairing. My bishie's Aizawa Taki, droopy eyed stud of the showbiz! Aaaaw, love the angst~

But back on track - the reason I didn't list that anime was because I thought it had been listed many times before. In any case, that list s far from complete so I may add some things later. (I just love the edit function here~)

Oh, Prinz_Zoisit, if you think Gravitation's sweet you should probably check out the most sickeningly sweet shonen-ai title of all times; Ryokohunohara Labyrinth!

Although it's really hard to find if you're not using Kazaa, and even if you do it's probably still hard to find, if you're a true shonen-ai fan you have got to have seen this anime. It's pretty short, but sooo worth it.

Oh, I've always wanted to have the OAV of Demon Diaries. So hard to find!

the real difference is that the last issue of fake was rted 18+ for mature sexual content, whereas gravition wasn't (as far as I know) plus, the main reason I'm even going to give gravitaion a shot is the music

ah omakase, i tried this site.. it's really great, and i'll try to find this Ryokuhara..... ii've heard of it before.. the drawing style seems old a little bit... but hopefully i can find it... it really seems to be romantic -.-

No thanks, Prinz_Zoisit! And, ehe ;; yeah the character designs are a bit old. A bit Macross-ish... But you get used to it, I'm sure. And it doesn't take away from the cuteness! If anything, it should amplify the cutesy scenes!

ah that's often with animes that language of other(european)countries is integrated like also german words (for example in ZETSUAI or Weisskreuz)...

one says that japanese are angry if one speaks their language without speaking perfectly... but i don't believe that...........

From what I've heard of Japanese customs, they're too polite and submissive to get angry over such a thing. I don't think there's a single person out there who would (consciously) get mad over the fact that a foreigner isn't able to speak a certain language. Anyone in their right minds at least.

And about the integration of words... in Kenshin (the series) there was a man who spoke German while standing on a boat with a flag of the Netherlands behind him. Tiny, lil' honest mistake, but I laughed my ass off!
