Sis how could you like that movie (escaflowne), i'm a big fan of it,, but the movie was just stupid to me, i togh it was gonna follow the anime, but it didn't (maybe that's why i'm mad and forgot to check the yeard of each one) and hitome did do anything in the movie, she was just nothing,and she look like a boy but anyway, i'm not agains you, but i just wanted to say that i didn't like it.

I would have to say that inuyasha is my favorite anime. But Fruits Basket and Full Metal Alchemist are awesome too.

I've never seen Fruits Basket, but I LOVE Inuyasha and FullMetal Alchemist.

...There's a guy, Yukito, and he's a traveler. He travels with the puppet his mother gave him and he can control it without strings. While in this one town, he meets three girls, and it turns out that something happened 1000 years before with their...past selved, I guess you could say. It's really complicated to explain, XD.

...But that's the main point. o.o;

Wow, that is a really tough question. There are so many anime that I enjoy. Well, I guess I shall have to choose my top five

1. Hagaren (Of course. Unfortunately, I have only seen it in Japanese when I went abroad. I do not get Cartoon Network where I live, so I have to rely upon friends and far away video stores in order to watch the latest episodes.
2. Rurouni Kenshin
3. Furuba
4. Haibane
5. Serial Experiments Lain

Naruto definately defeats FMA. I used to be a hardcore FMA fan before it was finished, but now I see Naruto and I am amazed from the beginning to the end of the episode. I've never seen an anime that made me teary just by watching the first episode until I saw Naruto. The funeral of the 3rd in Naruto vs. the funeral of Hughes in FMA, the funeral of the 3rd is in my opinion more dramatic and powerful, plus the sadness lasts longer than the funeral of Hughes. Plus, the whole incident with Haku and Zabusa and their deaths, the end of that situation was one of the saddest moments in anime history IMO. FMA is a great anime, but Naruto surpasses it (plus it's muuuuuch longer than FMA).
Underneath Naruto and FMA, Trigun and Cowboy Bebop is truly great.
Then comes Inuyasha.
Then comes DragonBall Z.

Currently my favorites are FMA, Samurai Champloo, and Cowboy Bebop.

And Naruto is not better than FMA in any aspect.

I only watch dubbed episodes on Adult Swim/Toonami (sorry purists), but of the dubs I've seen so far, I like Inuyasha, all the Dragon Ball shows, but DBZ was the best, and even though they are relatively new, I am liking Samuri Champloo, and One Piece is the only 4kids show I don't wanna destroy.

Also, slightly off subject, I don't like Wolf's Rain or most Gundam Wing shows (sorry) except i did like Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, my friend let me borrow her DVDs of it and it was cool, even though there ere only 6 episodes.
