I really do like Hohenheim's voice. However it was annoying in the scene where he just pops up in the middle of nowhere sitting next to the tree. Oh yeah, and good lecture from Roy.

I say this episode is overall funny:
-Winry's Beauty moment
-Sheska's spazz attacks (you can't help but laugh!)
-when Havoc was injured, asked Roy to give him a smoke, Roy said "Get well soon." or something and toke them away. (NOO!! Havoc needs his smokes lol)
-balloon blue military people (never could spell their names...oh well)
sad:
-Roy's story telling to everyone and speech at the end
-When Hoho and Winry were at the cemetary to have a heart to heart about Thrisa and Sara

Sure they did....they sped up the animation, cut the part where ed is staring at the camera in the beginning, and the song was totally off-sync with what was going on on-screen...The second instrumental is supposed to be when Hoho is looking at his house...and the refrain is supposed to start when ed jumps off the cliff-thingy. Why can't the AS people keep their grubby little hands to themselves?

Hoho's english voice was really wierd, but then again this is the first episode i've watched in english in like the last two months. I also thought that Havoc's voice was wierd. I guess I just got too used to the Japanese voices. And they did cut rewrite a little, they really should've left it alone. That is by far my favorite opening, it's so damn sad. Also the reaction Ed had when Al thouched him by the river really bothered me. It seemed to me that in the fansub Ed was alot more cold and distant then he ended up sounding in english. It was still a rocking good episode though.
And the part of the opening where Hoho is looking at the house is the best part, I really love that. It's so damn cool and sad.

Yeah, I'm pissed that they edited Rewrite. Not because it's edited in general, because it didn't fit right together right. The music and the scene was all out of place. But eh, it's better than AS editing a part of the general episode.
Anyways, I loved this episode. I also love Hohenheim's voice; Scott McNeil did a great job as a VA, as Hohenheim. The voice is perfect for Hohenheim's character. I also like some of the humor parts in it, too. But overall this episode was good, and it'll keep getting better. =)

The episode was a good start, while a bit miffed at the OP (I have a feeling that AS is trying to find the write ratio unfortunately and therefore we may have to deal with this for a little bit but hey one can always wait for the DVDs and have full opening goodness *watches DVD 7 right now*)
Hohenheim's voice is pretty good in my mind, I was wondering how Scott McNeil would voice him and he has done a good job.

I saw it, and I was disappointed. My oppinion about Hohenhaim's voice acter that is is the wrong one. I know Scott is a great VA,but when I think about hearing his voice(Hoho-papa) I thought of something more of the lines of Kirby M.(va for Miroku, and Scott summers)
Over all, It was funny.

Most memorable moment of that episode was when Pride, Sloth and Gluttony looking at a butterflyed Lust. Gluttony didn't seem too happy about it though. And I'm guessing Pride did the racking, simply because in the Manga he did the same thing to Greed.

I loved that episode. Althought the certian someone, whom I can now call Hoho, 's voice was a bit wierd. I've never heard it in Japanese so I got used to it. After seeing him and hearing him talk so sadly, I fell in love with his character. ( I can still remeber a time when I heard Ed say he hated his father and I thought I hate him too...But he's just to...to Hoho-ish!) I loved the Ballon Falman and Brada ! So funny! And Shezka's little freak out too!!! But my favorite part was Roy's speech and yelling that he wasn't chasing Ed because he wanted to capture him, but because he was "pissed"! (LOVED THAT!!!) Can't wait till next weeks Episode!

As
