I keep seeing on ebay and on square-enix japan that they have the 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala movie ready for dvd. Do any of you guys know when its coming out on the exact date?

the limited edition dvd is region 2 but contains english subtitles... if anyone wants to buy it =P

Is there any way at all to watch a Japanese DVD on an American player? I don't really want to buy a region-free player...
Are computers' disk drives region specific?

if watching on computer, you'd need a program called "DVD Region-Free + CSS" to play all region dvd's.
for regular dvd players, get ur modem number and brand name and look on the internet to see if there is a region coding hack code to overwrite the dvd region coding. i did it on mine and region 3 DVD's work absolutely fine as long as it's in NTSC.

I just got my dvd yesterday, you can get it from anime247.com for $9.99, it also has a bonus on it.

If you go to discount anime dvd they have a region free dvd for about $9.95.

Oh I know them too, it is the same one there as well, Anime247 and DiscountAnimeDVD mostly sell the same things

i have a version of the movie on dvd the video and auido is good but the sub titles make no sence ( for instence king bradly is called "ginger" [what the hell man])

anyone know where to buy a limited editoin dvd?

official chinese dvd won't be coming until March.
will contain Japanese and Cantonese dub track with Chinese subtitles. i doubt there will be english subs.
