(A Mind without Memories)
By HanyouAlchemist
A pair of golden eyes scanned the dark room. The stench of blood was everywhere. Whose blood, he did not know; all he knew was that the blood had been drawn by his own hand.
He sat in the dark corner, awaiting that man, the man who almost never let him out of his sight. He would come for him, just like always, every single time.
“Pride,” someone said as he scanned the room himself, “Good job, let’s go.”
‘..Good job? Killing people? That’s a good thing? Then, why don’t I feel good about it? Huh…’
“Envy,” Pride said, standing up, “Before I attacked that man, he…said that I knew him, that I’ve known him all my life…Envy, do I know him?”
Envy turned to face Pride, his eyes narrowing before taking a quick but thorough glance at the young man, who was lying sprawled out on the floor, in a puddle of his own blood. He looked back to Pride, “No, you never knew this annoyance. He isn’t or was of any importance to you. Now let’s go.” He said as he walked toward the door.
Pride looked at the late teen, whose breathing was ragged, and felt doubtful, but chose to ignore it as he followed Envy out of the room.
‘Envy’s probably right; I don’t ever remember knowing anyone besides him, so, why do I feel like I know that man?’

Eyes halfway shut. Blood spilled and still pouring everywhere. Dying…death…eternal sleep…‘So, this is what it feels like…slow-death, eh?
Pride and Envy were long gone by now and only one thought went though the young man’s head before he gave in to the end….
‘Envy…he-he lied. You do know me…you’ve always known me…
Because, how could you forget, the little brother who you loved so dearly, Nii-san?'
I'm HanyouAlchemist on Mediaminer just so you know.
