Wow. I didn't know I was going to get this much comments, from just being away...(lol) Well I REALLY appreciate all of them, thank you guys VERY much...I don't even know how to thank you enough Well my internet had been down for 5 days and plus I was in school . But I did have sometime to come back today, since I'm off today, which is good...(lol). And when I was away from the internet those 5 days, I did draw something like a week back, I just didn't get chance to post it until now...But before I do that, I just want to respond to everyone comments separately to just let you guys know I really appreciate them

And yeah with color pencils its just depends on the quality, if you want better blending and shading techniques, the more expensive they are, which we all dislike (lol). Anyways I'm very happy you like the Dante one I did, I was edgy about showing that one, since it was my first one inking and thought maybe you guys would be like..."oh I don't like it..." lol, but since you did, that means I will continue doing it (lol). Well the whole pic is in layers, the ballroom background is the standard background, then I put the whole pose body of Dante in one layer, then the other two expressions were on each their own layer. Sounds a like a lot I know, but its not difficult...And also I'm very glad you like the Ed's one I did...It was kind of fun making that one, I enjoyed it

:HUGS ALL: (lol) you guys made me feel happy today (once again), to see your comments...Now on the drawing I was on working last week and finish last week, but didn't have no internet to show you guys. So I will show it to you now, the person I did for this one is someone I never drew before...And that is Lust, she is a pretty cool sin char and I wanted to see if could draw her. The most hardest thing I had with this picture was with coloring the purple outfit, I wasn't sure were to put the highlights at and it was a bit confusing. But after fooling around enough, I think I finally got it, well the best I could. One thing adore on this picture is her hair, I always was fan of Lust hair, I think she has the coolest hair style...(lol). The expression on the side, I know you guys are probably like that doesn't look exactly like Lust, well I know But I was just testing to see if I could do her in joyful expression, it was pretty hard to do. And thats the best I came out with...The background is from a screenshot that I redid (like I been doing) from Episode 35, where I believe Lust was the main character, I forgot who the man was who was in love with her. But I'm pretty sure you guys remember that episode. And also the little quote I added on the side, you guys can read it if you want, it was meant to take up room... And also I'm not sure where she is sitting at, she's kind of just merging in with the background, she's not really in a particular area...Well enough of my talk, here is the pic...

Lust

I love the Lust one! At first it's very weird to see her with such a happy expression, but when I look again, I think she still looks pretty much like Lust. I understand that it was difficult to draw her like that. And the hair came out awesome! Expecially with the Lust sitting at the table. I really love that one. You did a really good job!

Giving some of the characters expressions, that you guys have never seen them with. And now since I'm back, here's another one I worked on with Greed, which is another character I never drew before, so this will be my first time drawing him. Greed is another pretty interesting char, and I wanted to try one on him. The background was once again a redo screenshot of the Devil's Nest, which is one of the known places I know Greed hangs out at. I was a bit confused at where he hanged out at first, but then I thought of the area they kept showing him at, and I was like there goes a place! I put some sort of font on the back for a sign. Now with Greed I also changed up his outfit considering on the book, the person in that pose had something in their hand so I added Greed this sort of cape looking thing, and I still added the fuzzy fur by him too, I feel he's not complete without it (lol) I also can see Greed with tatoos on his arm, so thats why I added that little name on the side, even though it dosen't exactly look like one (lol). Anywho overall of finishing this, I once again liked how this turned out...I think I'm getting better at this inking, which is going to be helpful in the long run for what I will probably be doing in the near future of college...(lol). But I hope you guys like it as well, of course the comments are always welcome (lol)

Greed

Man, your fanart is awesome. I especially like the Greed and the Lust one. I really liked the way you drew the Lust one. It's really nice to see Lust with a happy expression. That's a nice position you drew Greed in. It looks like he's chilling.

The Devil's Nest background is adding a nice touch, and your Greed looks totally cool!!
I think you did wonderful job of capturing his angular face, and his "toned muscle" adult male body, that are quite departures from Ed, or all other female characters.

Aww thank you guys very much for the comments! Sorry about my delay on posting artwork, last week I was out of town, I just got back like over the weekend. I had end up going to Florida for just vacation purpose (lol) Anywho before I post the artwork, I always like to add comments to you guys reponses (lol)

DustStorm: Thank you VERY much for your comment! I too like how the Lust one turned out, really with her in the purple dress...And its actually good to hear you guys say that it looks like Lust, at first I wasn't going to post it, because I didn't think it looked anything like her. But then I looked again and I saw it really does in some odd way...Anywho yeah I never seen Lust smiling, and the expression she is in called the joy smile and I said I would do that one for her, just to see how it turned out and it turned out like that (lol). The Greed one was pretty fun to do as well, and you know the pose I was trying to capture him in was as if he didn't have a care in the world (lol)...But glad you like it and thanks for the nice comment!

Tombow: Aww Thanks very much Tombow! I'm glad you like it and yeah I had to look in the book at a more adult stance figure. Edward does have this kid figure, so I try to find small figures for him and glad you like the clothing I added on him I was deciding on what to put him on (lol) and of course the tatoo I could definitely see Greed with But very pleased that you liked it!:)

And now onto the artwork, lately I have been doing many things at once and never getting nothing done I either get a new idea or I get bored with it...But I decided to go on and show you guys what I been doing. I would call these artworks kind of sideline things, because they were basically things on the side that were finished a bit quicker then the one's I did with like Greed and Lust or etc...I did two and they both have plain backgrounds, but I couldn't decide what to put on there...(lol) The first one I did was on Edward (which is one of my fav FMA chars to draw (lol) and I was looking in the book and seen tis pose that definitely fit Edward, well when he gets called short (lol) and I wanted to try it which I did and its called the Bad Tempered Pose or something like that. On this pic Ed does have his original human body, I didn't bother with the metal because I didn't really know how to do the pose with it. So I left it be and he still pretty much got the on the same outfit I have been drawing him in. Kind of screwed up a little on the pants but oh well Oh and there may be a error on the typing I did, I think it was supposed to say Bad 'Tempered' instead, I'm not too sure I have to look in the book, but I hope you like it!

PS: You may also noticed Ed doesn't have a nose, well don't worry on this pose he wasn't supposed to have one (lol)...

Edward

The next one I did was on someone I never drew before which was Envy, and to come think of it that is my second fav one of the bad guys (lol). The most hardest thing I had a problem with on Envy was his hair . It was hard to highlight and color each strand, and besides my mouse was going all over the place...Now I really wish I had computer tablet (lol). Uh theres not much on this pic I just drew Envy in two different expressions, just testing things. The first one will probably look nothing like him, because you never seen Envy in that expression. But as said I before I like to experiment on different expressions, I think its fun (lol) ...Now the second one may look more like him because you do see him like that sometimes. I'm eventually going to do a full pose one on him like I did with the other sins, but I'll have to come up with a pose. On the other hand I did enjoy drawing it, I hope you guys like it:)

Envy

Well anywho while I was gone away, I was working on the Winry one, and I finally finished it. It took awhile because its has a lot on the pic. I redone her house and the background. And once again it does look a bit sloppy in the back, but the main focus I was going for was Winry, so I made her look more neater...Its kind of like the one's I have been doing except I'm doing a good character...Because I'm sure you guys have seen me doing the dark characters alot lately (lol). Now Winry's pose was really hard to get right and I was looking in the book and was wondering how the heck did they drew it . But wanted to try it, so I did. And I think it came out nicely. I was going to draw her in pants, but thought otherwise because the figure in the book had on a dress and I thought I might as well do the same, also considering it would be more harder to do. And another thing to add, I know that she looks like she is kind of sitting in mid-air, and not on that stone thing I made ...Well I think what caused that problem was I blurred the background and not her. So it kind of looks like she is not even with the background (lol). But I had to find her some place to put since she was sitting down. And the outfit design came from the book too, I just colored it, which I took some colors from the actual clothing she wears. Not the automail wear but the one she walks around in public with, I just used the tone of the colors and made it different shades of green (Does that make sense? lol). Well I hope you guys like it, my overall opinion on this I think it turned out good...Except I messed up a little on her bang with her sitting down. But I don't think its too noticable, (well for me isn't) (lol)....

Winry

Oh and before I close my long speech...I thought might as well add this is in as well. I was bored one day and I just did these on free will time. I was really working on shading skills with pencils. These are kind of like the old Wrath one I did, on the first page. I shaded everthing, but was just testing. Its one of Ed and Scar, and I looked at actual FMA pics on this one. I'm sure you guys notice because their poses do look familiar...(lol). On the Ed sketch one I threw out the flowers he was holding and just made it like he was holding nothing. I also added once again a tatoo on Ed's arm, another habit of mine .

You also can see my bad handwriting on the Ed one, I was think of blocking that out, but I went on ahead and added it in...And the Scar one was my first time drawing him, I don't think it was too bad...Don't you agree? I love the angry Edward one, the expression on his face totally suits him ^^ His pose is great. I can, just like Tombow, hear him shout 'Who are you calling short?!'
The one of Envy is great, too. I love the expression of the second one, under the letters. You did a great job on that picture! Everything is just right!
The one of winry is so cute, and the background is awesome. I like her clothes! It's really Winry. The expression, the pose. I love it. I didn't notice that she seems to be sitting in mid air, I only saw it after I read your comments and paid attention to it. Maybe you could try to blur the background, but not the stones? Anyway, it's not really noticable, I think. The blurred background is good, just like it would be on a photo.
And your sketches are awesome! Edward is looking so sweet ^^ Are you going to color them too? I really hope so. I'm sure they will be awesome!

Hi everyone, how's it going? I'm back from my long delay, sorry I really hate it, but I also hate school work , but who doesn't? (lol) Anyways moving on to the present..

Galorfilinde Aww thanks a bunches for the very nice and appreciative comment! I'm really glad you like them. I never thought this inking thing I did with these characters would be likable. But it turns out it is. I'm glad you guys agree with me on the Edward angry pose, it does look like he would react that way (lol). Glad to know the pose turned out decent to you. And yeah the Envy one, I like the bottom one too myself, don't know how I really got the face like that, because I do be really having hard time getting anime faces align. But its good to hear I got the angle right . And the Winry one I think of that one as adorable too from the calm like background. And I think it just me the drawer who always point out the wee bit of errors. I have a tendency to do that . But I'm very pleased that you like them:) Also very happy you like the sketches and when I had the free time I did ink the Ed one, though I'm still working on the Scar one...Hope you like it:)

(lol) Because in my younger years I use to be really horrible Well anywho thank you very much, I'm very happy to see the comments, because you guys really inspire me to make more:)

Well here's some other stuff I was working on while I was away. I did another Sin picture, and the lucky person was Gluttony, I also did it because someone wanted me to draw him, and I wanted to try it out. There is really not much a difference, it still like the same design as the other sins. The only thing I did differently on the pic is, I didn't paint my highlights. I instead made them in illustrator, so you will probably noticed they look a bit more sharper. It was hard and I think I will go back to what I was doing which was painting .

Gluttony

And here's another one I did the same with the highlights. It's Wrath, but he's in his innocent version, I noticed his eyes are these like bluish color when he's innocent. The background was something that came within my mind, its not the best, but it will do (lol). His pose I thought would fit him and his feet were originally supposed to be in the pic, but it didn't look right, so I took them out . Hopefully it doesn't make him look awkward, I really did use a lot of the illustrator highlights on this one.

Oh and to note I made his hair extra thick and fluffy on this one, to bring out the more cuteness (lol)

I'm now on break a little for summer quarter, I just passed my Sculpting class, and you know what since I have so much clay left from my original project, I'm thinking of showing you guys how I will make one or whatever I decide to make, but thats in later works , so you guys can see how I sculpt and it will be something different. I passed the class with a B, but I guess thats not bad for a first time sculptor (lol).

Anyways some artwork I done...I won't go on a long speech, as I most likely do (lol) , I'll just explain a few things, this first one I did was another sin, my goal is to try to do all of them like this, thats why the designs of all them look the same...This one is Sloth or you can say Trisha, but I was really going for Sloth as you can see. The background if your a bit confused as to where she is at, its from me redoing the screen shot part of where she died at I believed (lol). Its that warehouse, hope you guys like:)

Sloth

Another one I worked on is, I don't know if you remember (a couple of months back) when I said I was going to do a redo screenshot of Ed in Lior looking out this window, I don't have the pic with me now, but we're going to improvise . Now with this one I used colored pencils again, the only thing I kind of depised on this one is the sky line background, I don't really like the colors . Ed was the first thing, that I drew, so thats why he looks better then everything else (well he is supposed to be lol), this took awhile to do and my arm was hurting when I finished it (lol). Anyway, I love the way you did the one of Sloth! I really like the expressions, especially on the transparent pic of her face. The colors are great, too. And I love the background. Even the text fits so good with the image, with the water-like effect. Yeah, I think it's great ^^

And the one you did with color pencils... awesome! I love the colors, it gives a very dramatic feel to it. The shading and highlighting is again great, I still don't get how you do that with color pencils!

And I have to say this was one of my most trickest to do, but Envy is one of my second favs on the sins, so I had to make his look decent . The background was re-illustrated in Illustor, its the background of where Ed found all that red water, I just thought this background would suit Envy, since that was the first time Ed encountered him (lol). Anyways don't have much to say about this one, but that I just hope you like it!:)

I love your new pic of Envy! That grin on his face makes me wonder what he has done this time to make him look so happy. He probably has killed or tortured someone, or manipulated something. That's the way Envy is, right? The background must've taken a lot of time, Illustrator is such an annoying programme. It looks good, and I like the colors, too. Good job on the hair, it' great! Well here goes one of my all time fav sins, that I done like the others...And it's Wrath, this was another one that took a lot of time, and since Wrath is my first fav, I had to bless him with two expressions. The top one doesn't really look exactly like him, but the bottom one to me does, it reminds me of the time when he was crying for Sloth (lol)...The background what was took up all the time, even though you guys can hardly see it...But thats no prob because I had done different layer on it, so you can see it better....

Background

It was from a redo screenshot of couse, and it was where Wrath was born at...I wonder is it called Yokk Island, unless I'm getting everything all mixed up ...As you can see it looks like a lot of paint splatted everywhere (lol)...But as always I never get too detailed on the backgrounds...Though I'm still happy how it looks even though it has splotched up paint everywhere...Anywho another thing to comment on, was that Wrath pose was very hard to get right, and it still looks a bit edgy, but not too bad...I have to say I love how I did Ed's right arm, it turned out nice in the my opinion, since I kind of suck at making hands...I'm not too sure what Wrath has on, but it was a outfit from the book and I just changed the colors...Its pretty different to see Wrath a little in high boots...I draw so big, so I'm never successful at getting the whole body in their (lol)...

Ayway, let's comment on the new drawing!
I love it! You did a great job on the pose, it looks great! You said you're not good at drawing hands, but I can't see that on the picture. The hands look great! And the bending of the arms, without making it look like it's a weird short arm. Everything's just right! I like his clothes too, and the colors you chose for them. He looks so angry, the expression is really like Wrath! I love his eyes too, and the flow of the hair.
I agree that the face above may not look really like Wrath, but I think he's very cute ^^ You can still recognize him in it though. And the one on the bottom is just so sad makes me feel sad. It reminds me too of that time. That one is exactly Wrath again!
The background is good too, but the lines of the trees look a bit hard compared to the leaves and stuff. Maybe it will be an idea to blur it just a little? Well it doesn't really matter, I like it just the same ^^
And you chose the font to match the character again, right? Good choice!

When I see your earlier works, I really notice you've gotten much better! Your pics are getting more and more awesome! Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see the Ed one! Will you draw him with his black/green hair disguise, too? I hope so ^^

You know what I didn't think about that, yeah Tombow would say something. I really hope he/she is okay I'm getting even more worried

I finally got the Ed one finish, I kind of like how this one turned out. Really the Ed with the brown hair wig. I did do the one with the green hair disguise, I know it a little in the back, I should have put it in the front, since you did point out that one (lol). But I still am amazed at the brown diguise one, I'm surprised I could succeed at drawing it. Actually all of them are pretty cool. I drew them all in different expressions. I will tell you what each one is...

The Ed with full body on the left, is called the 'Smug Pose'.
The Alternate Ed (who died :grabs a tissue: ) is called the 'Shy Smile Look'. Though it doesn't look shy to me looks more like mellow (lol).
The Lior Ed (looks like Wrath lol) is called the 'Smug Look' as well.
The Green Hair Disguise is called the 'Joyful/Cheerful Look'.

The background, didn't really know where to put him, so I just redid a transmutation circle. It was fun doing this, but took up a lot of time. Ed is too cool to draw ...Since I did one on Ed I'm eventually going to have to do one Alphonse (lol).

Oh yeah I haven't posted this one on DeViantart yet, because I was posting up a Pride one, that I might as well show here . I finished this one up as well. It was another one that took up enough time. Though sadly Pride didn't get blessed with the expressions on the side, since I couldn't really find any to fit him. But I still think it looks decent, the background is from his house, with the huge yard. That took awhile to do. He was very hard to draw, since he has this realistic look. But in my opinion not bad for a first try...

My computer was having some problem and I had trouble coming to this site, and just got it back on few days ago.
I'm still getting used to my new browser, and somehow I still can't load up some of the pictures on this forum, but hopefully, I can get back to enjoying and commenting on all your guys' wonderful art-works again in a few days!!

Hey Tombow!! I'm soo sorry I didn't see your post, I must have overlooked it, but anywho thanks a bunches for the comment...Yeah actually there is a lot to comment on there, now that I thought about it...Well the background is a redo screenshot from Ishbal I took, I think it was their throne where they had worshiped God in there...Its shown on one of the episodes that I have forgotten (lol)...And the writing on the background is called Destruction Right Arm, since thats what he is called...(lol) I think thats pretty much it to comment on...I know it not like me to have such less words on my drawings, but don't worry when I show the Kimblee one, I will it explain it in more detail (lol)

Thanks a lot siner! And I look forward to seeing your artwork post I'm glad you like the fanart though, actually I'm glad all of you like them...It inspires me to draw more...(lol). Well I finished the Kimblee one, I went through a lot of revisions on his, but I think this will do.

First thing to comment on would be his outfit, I went extreme on that jacket, but I guess I was thinking how he would look in a jacket like that...What do you think? I don't think it turned out that bad, along with the pose. Which that was very hard to do, but I think I succeeded a little on it, besides the right arm (lol). The fist like pose, I'm not too fond of. I also added a lil piercing in his ear, something I could see him wearing

The background is a redo screenshot of the time the military blew up Ishbal, however I didn't ink this background one, I instead just colored it up in Adobe. The black stuff you see, its supposed to be smoke...And the orange reddish thing in the back is supposed to be buildings. I hope you guys can make it out...It was tricky to do, but yet fun to color. Does that makes sense? (lol) Well I hope you guys like it!

The side expression is called the anger expression, but to me he looks pretty much bored or unamused (lol)

Oh wow...:crawls from out of a cave: It's been so long, and I miss it all and everyone Anyways Hi Tombow! It's good to hear from you again...yeah, I noticed I just abandoned my own art post...Not good ...But I'm in the process of getting some artworks to show, that I have done.

My style now has kind of change from how it was back then, I have another inking method that I do now. Actually I can show you this one I did for a request on someone, who wanted Wrath with a lot of hair...Its kind of odd, but very interesting at the same time ^^

lol Yep and I'm very happy to be back, to share more latest artwork I have been doing ^^ Also very happy you like the artwork request pic I done on Wrath, it was very fun to do and color. And with my inking style I use to ink in Photoshop CS Illustrator, but now I ink in Photoshop CS, and also color in there as well. The coloring I have been very admired of by myself, since it looks very saturatedly (not a word, I don't think lol) rich on the drawings. It seems to bring out my drawings a lot more.

Nonetheless I have been in a Wrathie mood drawing lately, and just drew this unsual pic of Wrath in many different hairstlyes. I am very fond of Wrath's hair, and I just wanted to test to see how he would look in different hairdo's. The names of them I have on the right hand side of the picture, in case you wanted to know what they are (lol) I haven't posted this in my DeViantart account, but will hopefully soon (lol) There's no point to it, and I just done it out of randomness, and this also only part 1 of Wrath hairdo's so I'm going to do another one with different one's as well.

Gee thanks so much Tombow! I'm glad you like them and also see improvement in them. I guess with me getting older my style is bound to improve huh? Since I have also been reading up on anatomy and other methods of inking. Anywho I'm very glad you like those.

I have some more that I wanted to drop off to show you. One of them being a random pic and then other being a Halloween pic, since that is around the corner now (lol). I decided I would make one now.

Anywho the first image with showing Ed, was just a simple test to see how he would look in everyday modern day clothes. His outfit I looked at a reference of an actual Old Navy Vest and pants, and just drew it over the best I could, and with putting him it. Also yea he's modeling the joyous look (lol). That is something Ed rarely is, so I gave him a happy smile for once. But nonetheless that basically was the test of the pic, to see if I could draw everyday clothes on characters. I'm practicing a little on that. So in all I hope you like it. It was fun to do, and the background I didn't go into too much detail with. So it's just like an ordinary building background, still trying to get better on those. ^^ lol

This second image is the Halloween 2007 pic I just finished up. This one took atleast two days to color. Alot of time, since it was a lot too color. Its sort of a buddy pic showing Ed and Winry together. And like my first image I looked at real pics of Halloween couple costumes, and put the designs on them, which it turned out to be like this. I made up Winry's hairstyle and Ed's hairstyle of how I wanted them to be. They are cosplaying as Vampire people. I fooled around a lot with the bubble designs on their outfits, and in the end they end up looking interesting to me. The background I used brushes that are of course Halloween to give it off more of the Holiday. Nonetheless when it was finish I enjoyed the results. I adore the colors, and I believe that was more of my strong point on this picture. I kind of started putting my focus more on making my colors stronger to bring out more of the image. Does that make sense? (lol). Anywho I hope you like it and Happy Halloween (since it is now that lol)

Ed-Al-Win-Fan: I love your Halloween fan artwork of Edward and Winry. Edward and Winry's 18th century Vampire costumes look wonderful, and I really like the hairstyles that you chose for both of them. (I haven't seen an artwork of Edward where he is wearing his hair down.) Great job with their facial expressions as well. I also like the Jack O' Lantern motif that you used for the background of your artwork. Nice job and happy Halloween!

Aww thank you so much, I'm really glad you like it and appreciate you commenting . That was one picture that took awhile to do (from crazy comp crashing to programs not loading lol >_<) and through all that I was deteremine to get this done for Halloween. This is like one of my second favorite Holidays, and FMA is my all-time fav Anime, so I'm always open to make them (lol). But nonetheless thanks again so much for commenting, it is really appreciated, and keeps my inspiration high.

PS: I always find very fasinating to give them unordinary hair-do's (lol), which I'm glad to see I succeeded on it. I think I will do it more often ^^
