The oldest album I have is my Queen collection with songs going back all the way back to 1974.
The oldest MP3 I have, excluding classical music like Mozart, would probably be Ritchie Valens.

I'm not counting classical, because the available recordings of those are relatively new.

A heavily water damaged copy of The Beatles "Revolver".
Not sure what year it came out it's still in storage.

Mmm, personally, I don't think it goes any farther back than "Pink Floyd; Dark Side of the moon." At least on CD.
Vinyl, I have Queen's "News of the World", although I'm such a music n00b, I wouldn't know how that is in comparison.

Can I borrow that some time?

We could have one of those iPod parties and play Queen music. I don't like Pink Floyd much, though >3

Good stuff. I just have some classical music if that counts. Usual Chopin, Beethoven, Holst, Bach, and others.

The oldest CD I have (in terms of actual age) would be "Grass of '96" a compilation from Grass Records. Which I won by correctly filling out a word search puzzle in Alternative Press magazine!
Now, if you are going by age of the MUSIC inside, that would be a tie between "Edison Diamond Discs", and "Ramshackle Rag: Recording Pioneers"; which are remastered to CD from old acetate discs. The songs were originally recorded around the time of WW ONE!
I'm musically omniverous and listen to virtually anything, with the exception of rap (boring), metal (ditto), Top 40 (ditto also), and country (makes me homicidal)

Oh boy, let's see, I've the Beatles's 'A Hard Day's Night' (1964), 'Led Zeppelin I' (1968), 'II' (1969), 'III' (1970), the almighty Fourth Led Zeppelin Album (It has no name)(1971), I think I might have a couple others even further back, but I'd have to check.
