Heres how I see Roy beating Pride,

1: Riza takes selim hostage and tells him to show her his dads treasure

2: Roy fights Pride in to that room and then blows another hole in the wall reveling Prides weakness(I think its a skull)

3: Fullmetal Terminarcher(thats what we call him in another forum) takes selim hostage inorder to kill the Fuhrer.

those are probable, but still Im more worried about Ed then I am about Roy

Eh, we still don't know what's special about the wine cellar that they're fighting in. Apparently it was important enough for the architect to mention when giving Roy the plans, though...

ARGH! This is killing me.

My hypothesis: Alcohol is flammable, hence the attack plan of locking the Fuhrer into the wine cellar. Roy must have planned a kamikaze attack, and if he doesn't win against the Fuhrer, he can just set the entire room on fire, hoping to kill the Fuhrer in such a manner.

Yeah, it was Selim. But who was the one who wrecked Selim's car whereas Selim spontaneously ran back to daddy to show him his skull - Archer!! If Archer hadn't started that diversion Selim never would have taken the chance to esape that car and use his teleportation technique to flash his way back to the mansion and save Roy's butt. <--- self-satified-big-ass-grin

It was the crash that created the diversion, and I don't think it was Archer who was driving. Which means Archer didn't do anything to save Roy.

Well... I still think he created that diversion though, even if he wasn't actually the one driving that car.

But the whole Selim business was kinda stupid to begin with. No normal boy would run up to his papa (kitchen in flames, maimed man impaled by a sword against the wall) and show him his papa's treasure just because. o.o

Yeah, I agree. It's very unrealistic for anyone to run up to their father to show him his treasure when he's in the middle of killing someone. How would the boy know if the "enemy" isn't going to take that chance to counter attack?

Yeah, if he had run in when they were fighting and stood in between Roy and Bradley to protect his dad, it would have been understandable but to come when his dad is skewering someone to the wall and say "look daddy I got a present for you"....
