idk if there's already been a thread made about this, but was there anything at all going on between ed and noah in the movie? heidrich obviously thought so...

but then again, i read in another post that elrics and noah were going there separate ways at the end of the movie (pretty stupid of noah if you ask me because now she's got nobody left...since her own gypsy companions sold her and all...she could have at least stayed with the elrics for company)

so...would you consider them a couple?

I might just be saying this because I hate Noah so much, but I really didn't get that vibe. There was sympathy from Ed and curious fascination from Noah, but nothing romantic. And there was a magazine article that said they were parting ways.

I'm still angry that Ed and Al apparently forgave her for screwing Ed over and indirectly causing the destruction of Central and the deaths of numerous people in their world.

I think she liked him but he didn't seem interested in her. As usual Ed had his mind on one thing and that was getting home.

The fact that they separated in the end pretty much proves that nothing was going on between them.

There was more implied Al H. x Noah than Ed x Noah. Ed was just protecting and taking care of her during the day while Al was doing that nazi flying ship thing.

uh...wanna point out the heidrich x noah stuff for me? because he said straight to noah's face, "i'm glad that edward is interested in a woman [referring to noah]"

so i guess that makes it pretty obvious heidrich didn't feel that way for her...

^ The productor said Al (he didn't say which one) would get a love scene in the movie. I guess it's Al Heiderich he was talking about. I didn't see the movie so I don't know if there are any Al HXNoah hints but, god, I think Bones's ideas are totally stupid especially the all EdXRose (Or Noah) thing, same for LustXLujon.

But it's a chance Bones made EdXNoah impossible since she leaves with the others. She would have certainly died during the second world war so...Even more impossible. Plus, from what I read, I don't know what Al H. was thinking but Ed doesn't seem to be interested in Noah at all, but I'm just saying this

maybe the love scene heidrich got was that one scene noah was holding his dead body and caressing it...then again, you'd probably do that to anybody you cared about...she did live with him for quite some time...and when he was alive, he made it clear to her that he was "glad ed was interested in her"

and like someone mentioned earlier, i'm pretty sure noah's chances of survival are pretty much zero...from what i've seen in the movie, she NEEDED ed to defend her...no idea how she's survivng the holocaust now...if noah was smart, i think she should've stuck it out with ed...

if you've been paying attention to all the previous posts, it was nothing but friendship...if you're really pushing it, then its a one sided deal with noah liking ed and ed...too focused on his goals to care (just like with winry)

Noah was too much another Rose for me to see any potential for a relationship, and of course as mentioned Ed is wrapped up in his own little world most of the time to notice. She could have walked in stark naked and he wouldn't have noticed.

If FMA does carry on I'm not sure what part she will play, if any, otherwise she'll seem like a tag on.

And, if any Noah fan want to devote to thir fantasy, more powers to it.
But I don't see it, either in the movie, or post-movie.

I would have been so upset if they had really gotten together. Poor Ed has enough to deal with without the added hassle of being in love with an idiot.

I don't hate Noah. She is ok. She does not bother me.
The bad stuff she did, I think she was acting more or less accordingly as a gypsy of that time in Europe to survive the prejudiced existance.
I just didn't see any indication of Ed going for her romantically in the movie.
(And, for that matter, I don't even think there was any romantic connection from Noah to Ed. She was ordered to steal info from Ed, and later she was hoping Ed will be her means of escape to another world, but I think she was just using him, and I bet should she succeeded in escaping to the other world, she would have gone "bye bye Ed" soon after.)

There was more of a connection between noah and Al then there was to Ed. *shrugs*

oh ok then itz not true about the EDxNoah thingy, with them being together or w/e...but i did hear that Noah was trying to get Ed to like her, but i dont know if thats true....if it is, someone please tell me...

I actually don't hate her that much, it's just so fun to complain about her. In fact, I think she's the best looking female character, and you do have to feel some sympathy for her at the beginning. I just don't quite understand what she was trying to accomplish by opening the gate. Yeah, she wants to escape to a world where everybody doesn't hate her, but did she think that the hundreds of armed nazi soldiers and fighter planes waiting around wouldn't pose a problem? Not to mention that she betrayed one of the only people in the movie being kind to her and didn't seem the least bit sorry for it.

I can only see indication of Ed towards Winry in more than a friends relationship.I bet those who had seen this movie might had notice,Ed actually hesistate when Al question him what about Winry when he decided to return to Germany (Just because of those crazy people)and he did hesistae awhile before answering.

About Al's part,I suppose is Al.H part When the part Ed was returned back to Germany.That Eckheart actually like a crazy person

If anything I don't think there was enough events to make it Ed x Noah, more just like friends. Actually after seeing the movie, if anything is going to happen to Ed, I believe he'll find a girl that looks exactly like Winry during his journey. You gotta admit (except edxwin fans) weren't u a little excited at Ed being the dashing hero when he saved her from the carnival baddies, when he blushed *sighs* when they got into the cart (older women too much for him)

And Ed does care for his friends a lot. Like most boys, he just has problems expressing his feelings. He certainly cared for Winry a lot but didn't know how to tell or show her. He even has problems expressing his feelings for Al so yeah.

I'd like it if Ed woul've been more interested in Noah. I don't know why everyone hates her so much. Because they're jelous? That's just sad XD. I think she's okay. I like EdxNoah better than EdxWinry, because they are just very good friends. Good friends don't often turn out the be a good pairing.

They don't even look alike apart from the dark skin. They have difrent hair, body and facial shape.

I saw a lot more genuine affection between Noa and Alfons Heidelrich, even if there was less interaction. Ed was distant and curt, and not all that friendly, even if he was kind to her. It was more the principle of the matter, that he wanted to prove he was above shallow racist beliefs.

I did read a really good Noa/Ed fanfic, though. <3

Rose's skin has a more redish hue to it and Noahs chin is narrower. Also the eyes seem slightly diffrent.
I could start ranting so I'll leave this thread alone with a closing statment: Rose and Noah are both hot and cool at the same time.

That is true...we know Al E and Al H are meant to be each others equivilants but they don't look that much alike.

AH had the notable advantage of ageing moe the Al did.Remember that Al lost 3 years of Growth. He's a Sixteen year old in a 14 year olds body.

He also has white blonde hair and blue eyes which Al E would never have got even with age.
