I fear asking this, but of all the people out there who have the pocket watch, how many have broken? Mine just fell apart one day, the back came off, pin came out etc. Awful.

I have news of another new FMA merchandise item to be released this Spring. I also have a picture of the figures called "Choco Mint" (someone else posted these taken from a Chinese website) and I am reposting a pic of the Gashapon straps. I posted it once before but in the wrong place. If you have trouble with the link try clicking it again. The links through Livejournal don't always like to work the first time for some reason.

FMA PPP Straps (blind box figures with detachable straps. 1.2" tall, 7 different fiigures and 1 variant of Ed, Al, and Roy) Released in May.

FMA Choco Mint (blind box figures. 2.4" tall. 4 different figures and 1 variant per figure) Releases in May.

FMA Straps (This is a Gashapon capsule toy. The figures are usually about 1" tall or so. I could't find specific info yet) Releases in May.

I still don't have any information on the set called Prop Plus Petite. From what I can figure out based on past series of that Bandai toy line it will be a blind box SD figure with little accessories or as a diorama. I will update when I find out for sure.

OMG don't tell me that's a Black Hayate plush (and now I wonder why they never made those before).

I want that Bradley figure, that one looks awesome. The Ed one looks a little awkward.

I wish they would make some Greed merchandise.

Cool. Nice to know that Square-Enix is making more Trading Arts figures...though I'm surprised that Al isn't included in the first wave - though having Bradley and Scar part of the first wave is pretty cool.

The Hayate plush, as well as the cat, are made of awesome.

My problem with the Ed one is it looks almost exactly like an Ed trading arts figure they made for the first series.

But anyways of that set I really love the Winry. Not sure if I would buy the set just for her but if there was a Ling in the set I might consider (I read that there is at least one secret character)

I agree, that Ed looks a bit weird in that figure set. But the Bradley and Winry figure is really nice.

A friend pointed these out to me (you can only see the unpainted molds but they look pretty cool). Not sure when they are coming out though but I think I am definitely buying this set.

@Kirara - Nice find!! These look very good, even in pre-coloring stage!! The pic says these are from Bandai and coming out in early October, and it will be 300 Japanese Yen each (about $3 or so?) ...although it looks like that's the wholesale price and not the retail price.. ^^

edit: Also is the Ed, Al, and Roy individual action figures that are not part of sets? They look like it from the pictures.

Apparently bigbadtoystore.com has both the FMA Trading Arts figures (Ed, Bradley, Winry, & Scar) available for pre-order as a set as well as the Play Arts for Ed, Al, & Roy. From the site as well as seeing the hagarenbbs pics, I think the heads might be changeable(?).

For those curious about the naming conventions about these (especially if you've never bought a Square-Enix figure), 'Trading Arts' are basically the blind-box gashapon figures while the 'Play Arts' are the action figures that are roughly 7" tall - give or take depending on the character.

They look like they may be the second wave of the Trading Arts figures, but I'm not too sure. Didn't see anyone with this available for pre-order yet, but I haven't looked at all the usual places yet.

I'd say if anyone is going to San Diego Comic Con, Square-Enix usually has a booth filled with their upcoming figures, so you could probably find out more info there.
