TWTNW made me sad for certain reasons involving certain Nobodies. Hmm, I should start my PS2 again after leaving it alone for a few days and try and get to lvl 50-60... Curse you Square-Enix for making certain characters seem so life-like!
Silver Wolf
I wish I can play Kingdom Hearts II but I don't have a Ps2. Sometime I play it at my friend house. I wish I have a Ps2. sad.gif
Hanozo

pawnedbyme
Ya i like it i thought it was better than 1.
Indignant Judgment
I have played both Kingdom Hearts, I have to say that I enjoyed number 2 more because you could play as Roxas at first then Sora smile.gif
animejunkie429800
I know this is random, but,

XEMNAS SPELLS .....!!!! ohmy.gif

Mods, I'm sorry. sleep.gif I beat this game at 88%
jency
ive played them both and i enjoyed both of them, but i liked oragnization XIII so i guess i liked kh2 the best because of them axel is my fav!!!!

i also found this link with a preview for kh3!!! it's a little blury, but its better than nothing. i really wanna kno who all these people are!

KH3 preview

there is a link on the site that can take u to a better quality preview, but on my computer the site was messed up. that might not be the case for u all so id give it a try.

im gonna try to look for a better one
Hanozo
Damn I can't wait for kh3. I gotta import this ASAP so bad. >.<
Envy II
It's a good and fun game, however it isn't really anything special. Just fun.
xx-CelestiaL-xx
omg i LOVE KH!!! like the whole series and everything.. but i'm not really sure which one i like the best because they're all different in their own ways.. but since this is the KHII thread i'll talk about it..

THE GOOD:
- Roxas!! <333 apart from the fact that he's voiced by jesse mcartney [i try to forget that..! happy.gif] i love his whole character!! and it actually made me feel sad when he disappeared...and you stopped playing as him.. =[
- Passions/Sanctuary = aweseome song!! at first i was like.. nahh it's not as good as simple and clean but i LOVE it! and the music in general is also really good!
- Organisation XIII: i love them!! especially axel and demyx! =P They were good villans and were what kept me interested...
- New worlds and more disney/final fantasy charcters!

THE BAD
- Aries voice sounded like it hurts to talk.. and Vivi's was just too weird and sorta scared me.. but i guess it couldn't be helped because i don't really know how else he should sound
- Final Fantasy characters obviously tacked on i.e. YPR - they looked stupid as faeries and spent like what.. five minutes on screen?
- Atlantica: OMG wtf? o.O lol i couldn't stop laughing when i first heard about it and although the songs fustratingly get stuck in your head.. ><" it just made me feel that SE had turned KH into a joke or something that they could experiment with to see what appealed to different audiences.. and just 'cause KH includes disney does not mean it's for children..
- It felt like the whole maleificent/pete story just died... like it felt like they just stuck them in to keep them alive so they could add a side story but personally i think they should have kept her out
- Difficulty..even on proud mode was way to easy IMO...they practically spoon fed you on what you had to do next and even the hard fights weren't that hard...

oh and about the ending.. apparently the people in the armour aren't characters in any previous KH and KH3 is about the war of the keyblades and Sora is still the main character because a KH without Sora just isn't a KH! =]
jency
i kind of know what you mean about maleificient and pete, but they must've kept them there for some reason because i think they're still alive somewhere this will probably be seen in the next game

i dont know for sure if they will be appearing again, but if they dont then i think ur right and there was no point in keeping them in there becuase maleifecent was supposed to be destroyed

p.s. AXEL ROCKS!!!
Hanozo
Has anybody play KH2 Final Mix+?

Since The extras are that you can fight I think some of the organization XIII Memebers like roxas and also the seceret ending is extended.
animejunkie429800
Nope, I never played final mix, but I have watched the secret ending on youtube because I'm too lazy to even finish it to 100%

I still didn't beat the first KH and I thought KH 2 made more sense... KH was hard. Harder than this. sleep.gif

Hey Everyone,

Square Enix has just revealed 3 new Kingdom Hearts games at TGS 2007..

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP)
- Single-Player Adventure Game
- Features: Terra, Aqua, Ven, Master Xehanort, Sora & Riku
- Oylmpus Coliseum & Sleeping Beauty are Confirmed Worlds

-Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Trailer Summary & Notes

QUOTE
Video begins by showing scenes of the ending of "Kingdom Hearts 1", Soon the text "Deep Past" comes up, to be followed by "Shut-Eyes gives birth to the concealed fate"

Scene cuts to an area featuring the boy who looks like Roxas, Ven, talking to a young male with black hair, the area seeming to be like "Hollow Bastion". The boy soon calls the young male "Ven." The scene continuously changes before showing the Old Man that is seen in the Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ Secret Ending.

The old man's name is "Master Xehanort" and "Master Xehanort" calls the young boy "Terra". Soon Terra summons the keyblade into his hand.

Soon some worlds are shown, such as "Olympus Coliseum" and a new world, which resembles that of Sleeping Beauty is shown, confirming it's existence.

The scene then changes to Terra fighting against the mysterious dark male, who looks like he's in a bicycle suit, also from the secret ending. Terra manages to knock off the helmet, but his face isn't shown.

The scene soon moves to King Mickey summoning his Keyblade. Soon the scene begins to change rapidly, and Terra is at a beach, watching two boys playing before resting his sword into the grove. The two boys soon begin to become more visible, and it looks like Sora and Riku playing at the beach.

Finally, Terra says..
"Please don't depend on me, just erase me...friend"

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (Nintendo DS)
- Single & Multiplayer 3D Adventure Game
- Playable Roxas & Org. XIII Members (Axel, Saix & Xigbar)
- New Characters inc. 14th Org. Member (Female)

-Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days- Trailer Summary & Notes
QUOTE
The trailer starts from the scene where re:COM ended, afterwards the words "The other side attached to Sora still sleeps" and "The mind comes back whenever they touch." The scene then moves to Twilight Town, where Roxas, and Axel are sitting on the edge, as seen in KH2FM+.

Soon the trailer switches to Roxas being invited to the Organization XIII, and introduced to them, which soon cuts out to another scene of Roxas joining the Organization for the first time. Soon the scene then switches to the King talking about Axel, and Saix with Roxas pulling out his keyblade, moving into gameplay.

The gameplay features Roxas fighting with other Organization Members in a multiplayer game. This one confirms the allowance of being able to play as Roxas, Axel, Saix and Xigbar.

The scene then switches to Xemnas talking towards other Organization members. Xemnas explains that a 14th member has joined the Organization, and the 14th member appears to be a female, wearing a black hood. Soon the title comes up as "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days"

You can then hear Roxas in the background saying "I will disappear from this world in 151 days"

Cow's Observation:
KH:358/2 Days is an odd title as you could tell, but if you think about the story's timeline it might not be!

Consider this: KH2 takes place 1 year after KH1 and Roxas' Story starts 7 days prior to Sora's(as far as canon goes it was 7 days). 365 days- 7 days is 358 days.

So with that in mind it could be assumed that the story covers Roxas' point of view all the way to when he appears in Kingdom Hearts II. Now what still has not been accounted for is why it is called KH:358/2 Days... The "/2" is still a mystery. Just keep in mind, this is just an observation!

Kingdom Hearts: Coded (Mobile)
- Single-Player Game (inc. Puzzle Elements)
- Set between Kingdom Hearts 1/2
- Features Destiny Islands & Traverse Town

Kingdom Hearts: Coded-Trailer Summary & Notes
QUOTE
First thing that was shown, was the ending of Kingdom Hearts II, afterwards the text "The secret ending is solved, and the worlds still extend" Is shown, and then the words "Flow" is shown.

The video then officially begins with Jiminy Cricket looking at his journal, the words "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories" pop-up. He then notices something he did not right in his journal "You need to return, to heal the wounds" Jiminy Cricket then rushes to report to King Mickey. Mickey who is startled by this only replies with "Only he is the one who can solve it." The scene soon changes to Sora standing in Destiny Islands, in Kingdom Hearts 1. However Sora only appears in the form of computer data that is being transmitted.

After the image, the game soon changes to a battle scene. Heartless are attacking, and the gameplay mechanic seems odd, as Sora appears to be moving pies of blocks making it a puzzle game in a sense. Soon the command "Debugging" comes up. When this command is clicked, Sora moves at high speed, and vanishes as well. The scene soon changes to Sora being in Traverse Town with Mickey (As seen in the latest scans) With Mickey saying "I was here on that day." and then "Let's speak truly"

QUOTE(Tetsuya Nomura)
Hey everyone, IGN recently updated their website with an update from an interview that popped up in the Gemaga magazine, and summarized it up quite nicely!

October 2, 2007 - Tetsuya Nomura is in the Japanese press yet again, sharing a few new bits of info on Square Enix's big Tokyo Game Show unveiling, the three new Kingdom Hearts games. This time, Nomura spoke to the monthly Gemaga.

Nomura began by noting that the fact that all three titles were announced at the same time doesn't mean players should consider the new Kingdom Hearts games to be similar to the Fabula Nova Crystallis or Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series. Different from those, the three games started development at different times and will be released at different times.

In previous interviews, Nomura revealed that the PSP game, Birth by Sleep, started development first but would likely be released last. Here, he let slip that the DS game, 358/2 Days would likely see release first, followed by the cell phone game, Coded.

Unfamiliar with the Kingdom Hearts series? Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the prospect of having to play the two PS2 titles and the Game Boy Advance game before sampling these new portable titles? Don't be! Nomura feels that little experience with the series won't be a problem for those trying to get into the new games, as their main characters are all different. He does, however, believe that the feeling of control from past titles is retained for the new games, so players who have played the past games will have the easiest time at it.

Moving on to individual titles, the magazine first tackled Birth by Sleep. As mentioned in previous interviews, the game is being developed in Osaka by the same team that developed Musashi Samurai Legend and Re: Chain of Memories. The project was born when, during the development of Kingdom Hearts II, the Osaka team requested to be involved if Nomura decided to make a "gaiden" (side-story) in the Kingdom Hearts series. "The project was for the PSP from the start of planning," Nomura noted.

There's been a bit of confusion as to how the game's multi scenario system will work. Here, Nomura clarified just a bit. "The game will have three scenarios, and you'll be able to play from which ever one you like. You'll even likely be able to stop mid way through and start a new scenario."

While there's no singly important scenario or main character, "the main point of the story is to answer, 'Ven, who are you?'" (Ven, who resembles Roxas, is one of the three main characters -- read all about it in our initial report on the game.)

Also mentioned in previous interviews is that Birth by Sleep will consist entirely of Disney worlds. The game takes place in the past, years prior to the original Kingdom Hearts, and the worlds will be updated to reflect this. Nomura envisions having a young Hercules appear in the Hercules world, for instance. New Disney worlds will also appear, as will favorite characters like Disney and Goofy.

Gemaga also managed to sneak in a few bits on the game's battle system. It will, as previously hinted by Nomura, be an evolved version of the deck system that was used in Chain of Memories, where, prior to battle, you set up a card deck consisting of commands that are fed into your command menu. Also getting some hype from Nomura in past interviews was the game's character growth system; Gemaga wasn't able to get specifics, but they did say that Square Enix could make a full game based off this system alone!

Moving on to 358/2 Days (that's pronounced "Three Five Eight Days Over Two," according to the pronunciation listed in Gemaga), Nomura answered one big question we've all been wondering: where will Disney characters fit into the storyline, which is centered around Roxas and Organization XIII. "They will appear in the game," said Nomura of the Disney family, "but in a slightly different form. KH is generally a story where you set out on a journey with a goal in mind. However, Roxas is a member of Organization XIII, so he always returns to the home base. So, this is not a story about a journey. Also, Roxas's personality is such that he does not actively attempt to come into contact with other characters. So, the relationship to Disney characters will be different from before."

Nomura and crew are, surprisingly, making minimal use of the stylus for this game. "Wonderful World is a game where we fully used the DS's functionality," explained Nomura. "However, this time, we're not really using the DS functionality. In order to not break the Kingdom Hearts control feel, we're not using the stylus. Also, we're planning on using the bottom screen for something."

So what is that "something"? We're not sure about single player, but during multiplayer mode, the bottom screen will be used for a unique chat system, Nomura revealed. Players will be able to draw on this screen in order to communicate messages to one-another. Different from Pictochat, everyone draws on the same screen. Nomura and crew are also considering adding a few action buttons to the chat screen; these will be for actions that don't specifically affect gameplay.

It should be noted that Nomura's mention of chat features isn't confirmation of Wi-Fi play being included in the game. For all we know, the game may just be local-area play for four players, with chat thrown in for fun (we imagine being able to draw on the same screen as being quite fun regardless of distance).

Local area or 'net based, multiplayer looks like it's going to bring plenty of replay value to the 358/2 Days. Players will be able to select from the thirteen members of the Organization XIII, although each player will have to chose a unique character. The game will offer up a variety of missions, some asking that you defeat enemies, some asking that you fight one-another, and others requiring that you recover items. Single and multiplayer modes are connected in that your character's growth is shared between the two.

Finally, on Coded, Nomura made one comment of particular interest. As a reaction to the tough mobile games market, where plenty of free games are on offer, Coded is going to be released under a new business model, something that the industry hasn't seen before. "It will be very easy to enter," he hinted. We're going to speculate that this means the game will be made available for cheap, or even free.

Unlike the DS and PSP games, Coded shares its main character in common with KH1 and KH2. It's also the only game that takes place after Kingdom Hearts II.

But this game isn't Kingdom Hearts III. The Sora in Coded is actually a "data version" of the Kingdom Hearts hero. The game takes place on the pages of Jiminy Cricket's notebook. The story involves data versions of Sora and King Mickey searching for a secret message left behind by Jiminy by investigating the events of the original Kingdom Hearts.

Gameplay is a bit of a mystery at this point. The game does have the same basic interface as past Kingdom Hearts titles, with a command window featuring "fight," "magic" and "item." Screenshots show Sora with Goofy and Donald, although it's unknown if they'll fight together.

Taking a primarily role in the game is the "Debugging Mode." As Sora journeys through the digital world of Jiminy's notebook, he encounters bugs (the computer type of bugs) that appear in the form of blocks scattered about the play fields. These have to be cleared if you want to approach your enemies. You can also use the blocks to solve puzzles and climb up to higher ground.

Like Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Coded is being designed around cell phone models that don't exist yet. However, the developers are holding back a bit with Coded, particularly to account for overseas markets where mobile power is lacking.

Screenshots released of the game suggest a wide-screen title. The game is actually being designed with the idea that it will be the norm for cell phone owners to be able to swivel their monitors around for wide-screen play (this is something that's available in only a few sets in Japan at the moment).

While these three new Kingdom Hearts games were announced at the same time, similar to Coded, none of them qualify as Kingdom Hearts III. They do have some connections to the future third entry in the series, though. "I can't say specifically," explained Nomura, "but there was a message along those lines in the trailers. Something about these three titles being connected to a story that is to come. I believe you'll be able to foresee things through these three games."

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is gonna be release Last,
Kingdm Hearts: Coded is gonna be one of the first to be release, But its only for Japan
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days is gonna be release Prolly Frist out of the 3.

So pretty much you'll have time to get a PSP. happy.gif
