Here some pics I took at Mountian View Cemetary in Oakland.

I wanted to show you why I'm so in love with the place.

The second is the view from the top of the cemetery, you can see all the way to San Francisco.

The first is the crypt of Charles Crocker who founded the Southern Pacific Railroad and Crocker Bank.

I do see now why you like it so much~ I thought it might be like our cemetery, all dark and dank and creepy

That is by far the nicest cemetery I've ever seen.

Well since it's slow and also October I wanted to share some more pics from Mountian View. This time the pics are from the Chapel of the Chimes columbarium (where urns are kept), which is right next door. Chapel of the Chimes is where I wouldn't mind having my ashes stored but I doubt I could ever afford it.

I feel like being a geek and showing off my car's air freshener. Picture taken by one of my roommates.

That's actually a pretty cool picture. I like the way the light is coming from the side and illuminating the bubbles in the air freshener.

There was an almost full moon (<<oxymoron) out tonight and you could see it perfectly where I live. I also live in the middle of nowhere and the bushes, vast plain, and fog made it look quite eerie. I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take a picture but next time I definitely will.

They are actually made out of foam, I didn't make them my sister did. I have no talent whatsoever!

I don't know if there are any others here who enjoy taking pics, but I figured since the other picture thread was mainly for people posting pics of themselves, I'd start a separate one for photos taken of other things by forum members. I've posted a bunch of my concert photography elsewhere. That's one of the few things I'm good at.

Those are a few of mine. I should get a hold of some of the pictures I've taken of various family members this summer.

I like this one, although much of the sharpness was lost in scanning, so the freckles aren't as vivid.

I did it because it was dying so what better way to make use of it then to dry it and use it as potpourri
