Yeah my grandpa died 9 years ago but it still feels like it just happened. He had prostate cancer.

Chiyo: The contrast in the black-and-white Cathedral photograph is incredible. I really like how the tree branch almost serves as a frame. The shadows playing off the Cathedral walls give the photograph a rather ethereal quality. Lovely job!

ScarMySoul: Your close-up photographs of plants are goregous; you are able to capture the intensity of all the different hues. I especially love the colours in "Fuscia."Your cat Adrial is extremly cute, although he doesn't look exactly pleased in this photograph. I really enjoyed looking at your Grandfather's WW2 photographs, I am so glad to see that you are keeping his memory alive. Lovely photographs!

@ Tombow Thanks for the comment! My husband has this camera that he got when he was stationed in Iceland and it was a rather expensive one but hell if it takes pictures like that then it was worth it But yeah I love the way the flowers came out. <3

@ Edamame Thanks very much! I have more of his pictures from WW2 but those ones that are framed are among my favorite. There's one where it looks like he's leaning over a barrel, well that's a washing machine that he invented when he was in Saipan when he was there lol with very limited resources obviously

@Chiyo - That picture has the feel of eerie silence, yet it is so sharply dramatic!!
(Hope that makes sense. ^^) It grabs viewer's attention and wouldn't let go!!
I think that your eye in the pic which is looking at the viewer "straight in the eye" is the main cause of this effect, with the rest of face expressions having the feel of being almost non-emotional and motionless, like the time has stopped.
I attribute it to your awesome acting ability in this pic!!
I say, it is hauntingly beautiful and dramatic!! Two thumbs up!! ^^
