RIP?
Your grandpa has departed too?
I'm sorry sad.gif
Looks like both of us has lost our grandpa forever...

Yeah my grandpa died 9 years ago but it still feels like it just happened. He had prostate cancer.
ゆきえいり
^ Mine too, but it was 3 years ago.

@ScarMySoul - Beautiful close up pics of plants and flowers!!
I love Fuscia one!! Color is so vivid and details are so clear, and the flower is so lovely!!
And, it's so nice that you keep your Grandpa's pics and WWII money collections!!
Especially pics!! Those things are irreplaceable!!
And, Adrial is a beautiful looking cat!! happy.gif
Edamame
Chiyo: The contrast in the black-and-white Cathedral photograph is incredible. I really like how the tree branch almost serves as a frame. The shadows playing off the Cathedral walls give the photograph a rather ethereal quality. Lovely job!

ScarMySoul: Your close-up photographs of plants are goregous; you are able to capture the intensity of all the different hues. I especially love the colours in "Fuscia."Your cat Adrial is extremly cute, although he doesn't look exactly pleased in this photograph. I really enjoyed looking at your Grandfather's WW2 photographs, I am so glad to see that you are keeping his memory alive. Lovely photographs!
ScarMySoul
@ Tombow Thanks for the comment! My husband has this camera that he got when he was stationed in Iceland and it was a rather expensive one but hell if it takes pictures like that then it was worth it laugh.gif But yeah I love the way the flowers came out. <3

@ Edamame Thanks very much! I have more of his pictures from WW2 but those ones that are framed are among my favorite. There's one where it looks like he's leaning over a barrel, well that's a washing machine that he invented when he was in Saipan when he was there lol with very limited resources obviously laugh.gif

I am telling you for the second time...

I love your eyes...XD
You have such beautiful eyes...

Perhaps if you open your eyes wider it will be more dramatic... IMO
ゆきえいり
Chiyo Nice! I like the angle. I've never thought of taking a picture that way.
SharpShooterHawkeye
@Chiyo: That totally rox!!! I wish I could take pix like that!!!
Zarpia
Great pic chi! I still love the eyes
ScarMySoul
I bought a digital camera today on my lunch break at work so I took these two pictures of my two statues in my computer room so I can learn how to use my camera laugh.gif

Mutt

Anubis

PS: Yes that's Ed in the background laugh.gif
Tombow
@Chiyo - That picture has the feel of eerie silence, yet it is so sharply dramatic!!
(Hope that makes sense. ^^) It grabs viewer's attention and wouldn't let go!!
I think that your eye in the pic which is looking at the viewer "straight in the eye" is the main cause of this effect, with the rest of face expressions having the feel of being almost non-emotional and motionless, like the time has stopped.
I attribute it to your awesome acting ability in this pic!!
I say, it is hauntingly beautiful and dramatic!! Two thumbs up!! ^^

@ScarMySoul - I love your statues!! The ancient Egyptian artifacts fascinate me!!
(Your house is full of interesting stuff!! biggrin.gif) How tall are these statues??
BTW, the pics came out very good!! happy.gif
Chiyo
Thank-you Tombow, that is actually a great help. That image is practise for my dramatic Winry one (coming soon) and thats how I need her to look. Can't explain why, that would spoil it.
Demon x
behold the dying bird
, personally I like the sky here, it alter continuously, it's never constant.

Big Ben,
Westminster Abbey,
Houses of Parliament,
The London Eye,
London Marathon and the Crowds,
Policing is serious business :D,
Some nice looking building....We'll call it Buckingham Palace,
The Ugliest Limo in London.

Yup, we went to some of the very basic tourist spots. We're Original that way :D

Sorry for odd angles and some of the stupidly large sizes.
Pics of the Wedding may come later. They didn't turn out to well for the most part but I think I got some fairly nice shots.
If pics don't shows up then just assume the Bride and Groom looked very nice and the Hotel where the service was stunning.
ScarMySoul
@ Popo laugh.gif The limo made me choke on my drink.... Very nice pictures smile.gif I really like the one of big ben.
ゆきえいり
God of War Nice birdy! I want to touch it!
Scar Oh...I knew that... dry.gif
Popo Wow! That's cool! The limo one was hilarious. I didn't know they came in pink...The police dress funny! Oh, and I had no clue that the Houses of Parlemant was so big! Wish I could go...
Chiyo
Popo: not suggesting I should be suspicious of you, but why are the pics of the bobbies through a hedge?
ゆきえいり

but why are the pics of the bobbies through a hedge?

....There was Shrubbery in the way?
I wasn't actually that close to any of the bushes, I was just mucking about with the zoom when they happened to come into the screen. It was just a case of luck...
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Chiyo
Yes, well next time I see a shrubbery, I shall think of you sneaking behind it.

Most wise indeed.

Egadds! Greg Dyke (Big wig at the BBC) was at the wedding.
Turns out the Father of the Groom has known him for a long time.
The Bride, Groom and Brides family.
In comparison there weren't that many on the Grooms side, only about 11.

Hibiscus

I took this one while I was walking my dog today. smile.gif

Popo-Looks like you had a good time!

ScarMySoul-You're flower photos are always really good. I could see you taking the pictures of plants for the outsides of seed packages and plant stakes. XD
ゆきえいり
Popo That seems like it was really fun! happy.gif
Scar Wow. Never seen that kind of flower before.

hahahaha thanks! That would be so neat if I did that for a living happy.gif
Tombow
@Chiyo - I can't wait to see your "dramatic Winry" pic!!

@ScarMySoul - that pic of seagull is kind of humorous!! I guess my usual image of seagull is flying around by the ocean, and seeing it sitting in the parking lot like that kind of made me smile!! ^^ And those super close up pics of Fuscia and Hibiscus are so vivid and beautiful, they can be used as a wallpapaer!! ^^

@God of War - Is that bird really dying?? Or you just titled it that way... unsure.gif
(Hope the latter.. ^^ )
And, that sky pic is beautiful!! Very nice!! ^^

@Popo - Those are nice pics of London!! !!
And, the nice wedding pic!! Beautiful bride!! ^^
