Chiyo: That is a truly lovley self-portrait of you. I agree with Tombow, that you have natural beauty. You seriously are a natural it front of the camera. I look forward to more of your photographs!

Sweety Pie:
The baby is criminally cute. The cat and dog picture made me crack up- they remind me of my insane animals at home.

(I love Medieval/Renaissance Architecture)

If vinyls are damaging, why not you try airbrush?
Perhaps asking permission from FUNimation will have the whole project done for free! laugh.gif

Hmmm...I wonder what FUNimation would say if I pitched my car at them to be the official Fullmetal Alchemist car? Because I wouldn't mind airbrushing my car. happy.gif

@Kaien - That last one "Fullmetal IS 300 & Fullmetal Alchemist"... That is great.
I love your car. Will you sell it too me?

Everything is for sale for the right price. wink.gif
Tombow
@Edamame - I love "Cloisters"!! I love the architect, I love the blue sky, I love the courtyard, and I love the camera angle!! Postcard perfect!! biggrin.gif
Chiyo
Thank-you for the compliments guys, my skin isn't all that wonderful, just a few effects on photoshop seem to clear it up.

Eda: Where was that taken? It's beautiful.

Paradise Lost
Edamame
Chiyo: Oooh, interesting photograph Chi! I really like the overall 'distressed' quality and the washed out colours add a nice touch. I really love all your themed photographs. Nice job! (The cloisters photo was actually taken at the Cloisters Museum in New York. Its America's one little beautiful Medieval niche...it could never compare to Europe though.)

If you doesn't try you won't know the result...hahaha...laugh.gif
Give it a try...make a nice presentation using photoshop....powerpoint....etc etc etc and show it to them!!
Tombow
@Chiyo - I love the use of "grungy paper" on Paradise Lost!! Nice effects!! biggrin.gif
ed_drink_your_milk
Edamame-Oooh! I love the Cloisters and that's great shot!

Chiyo-The paper effect is really great and for some reason that pic makes me feel really calm. happy.gif
sweety_pie
@kenji - How much will it cost just for the back seat??? wink.gif

@Chiyo - That is a garden?.. I really like the texture. It makes the picture look cooler.

@Tombow - Naw I think there is only one kitty in the pic.

@Edamame - That really is beautiful architecture.

Both are amazing! I like your dress in "Bless this Mess". <3

Polka Dots!~
ed_drink_your_milk
Chiyo-Once, again, they're amazing. I expecially like how transparent she is on the stairs. happy.gif

Blitz-Gah! You always have the coolest angles for your shots, and this is no exception!
Edamame
Chiyo: Can I just say that I love your photographs! Going Where? has a rather haunting feel to it. I really like the washed-out colours and nostolgic tone in "Bless this Mess." Great job!

Blitz: Another wonderful photograph. You have such a talent with capturing unique camera angles. You can turn an ordinary object into a work of art. Nice job; I really like the contrast between the vibrant blue of the umbrella and the browns of the deck.

Gah, part of me wants to take pictures in the newly fallen snow...the other half wants to stay in bed because it is toasty warm.
Blitz
^ I know what you mean. XD It snowed about two weeks back and I really wanted to take pictures but decided I liked being warm better.

Thanks Milky and Eda for the comments~ ^^
Chiyo
You know I love that one Blitz

Back Pocket Picture - part cosplay, part emo
Tombow
@Blitz - Wow, interesting contrast between straight lines of the woods and the polka dots on the umbrella!! I love the muted background and the tone, too. Very nice!! biggrin.gif

@Chiyo - You are so good as Winry, your Winry pic is always a pleasure to see!!
I like you in your Uni house, too!! It has a nice soft and gentle touch. You look very lovely, too!!
Going Where? is interesting!! Layering of the lady and the stairs came out so good!! The pose fits right also!! Nice work!! biggrin.gif

@Kenji - Nice pond, nice Kois!! I like Ougon (Golden) one!! biggrin.gif
Edamame
Chiyo: The Winry picture is gorgeous. It reminds me of the old photographs that my grandmother has of herself as a young girl growing up in the 1920s. I love the antiqued look of the photograph, and your comment about the photograph on your DeviantArt made me feel really emo. You keep Winry 'alive' by being such an incredible cosplayer. Lovley work!

Kenji: Lovely pictures of the Koi pond! The first picture reminds me of a Japanese sumi-e painting. (Is that Koi pond inside your friend's house? *_*)

There really isn't anything to take on my snowy and frigid campus...
ed_drink_your_milk
Chiyo-I loved the aged effect, and of course, you're an amazing cosplayer! happy.gif

Kenji-Wow! That's really cool! Wait...like Eda asked...is it inside your friend's house??

Yes...

<Sorry...I tend to confuse myself between in and at... XD>
Tombow
@Kenji - Wow.. indoor Koi pond!! Nice!! biggrin.gif
Kenji
Err..no..sorry...I misunderstood...

The koi pond is at my friend's hose but not in my friend's house... It is at his garden and that 3rd photo is actually the waterfall...

Kenji: Wow, I applaud you for being able to finish a puzzle of that magnitude. I would go crazy with just one hundred pieces. (I have a horribly short attention span.) You should use puzzle glue so it turns into a poster.

Drawing Room
Chiyo
I couldn't have done all that Kenji

Eda: I love the clash of the white aganist the dark brown, well placed image.

Light Drinker
Tombow
@Kenji - I did not know it was FMA puzzle!! I love it!! Hooray for completing it!! biggrin.gif
It's beautiful!! And I'm amazed you got it down in less than a week!!
I like Edamame's suggestion!! Use puzzle glue, and spray "sealer" on the surface, and turn into a poster!!
And, the pond, yeah I thought I saw gutters as part of building in the back in the last pic, and kind of thought it looked outside. smile.gif But, I didn't realize the wall was a waterwall!! Nice!! biggrin.gif

@Edamame - Who's drawing room is that one?? Interesting contrast between whiteness in the front and the smokey coziness of the rest!! Very nice!! biggrin.gif

@Chiyo - Your back pose looks tantalizingly beautiful in that one!! happy.gif

Thank you for the comments Tombow and Chiyo. Tombow, the photograph is of Salvidor Dali's drawing room in Cadaquez, Spain. I was really pleased and surprised that the tour-guide let us take pictures. His house is truly a work of surrealist art in itself.

Chiyo:
You have such an incredible talent for portrait photography. The lighting in this photograph is striking and your pose is classical. Lovely work!

Kenji: Exactly how many pieces was that lovely FMA puzzle of yours?
Tombow

My very first FMA puzzle and I have to assemble 1000 pieces to complete it...
I am getting another box to assemble next week.... tongue.gif

I have it framed up but still not hung on wall yet because I am scrambling around the house for the hammer... [Will post photo soon after it is hung]
Tombow
@Blitz - Nice effects!! I like the blue tone, and the contrasts between shadowy presence of trees and the sun with white cloud patterns in the background!! Very dramatic!! biggrin.gif
Kenji
another comment to Blitz:

Too bad it is not horizontal... if not my sis planned to make it as our desktop wallpaper... laugh.gif

ETA:

Apparently the hammer is under the fridge...made me scramble the whole house for hours!!
Ed and Al is finally hung on my wall.... ^.^

Chiyo: "Hide Me" is such a beautiful photograph of you. Each one of your self portraits carries so much emotion. I always thought that there was something much more powerful about black and white portraits than colours portraits. I also love the idea behind "The Adventure Begins."

Blitz: "Trees and Sun" is simply gorgeous. I love the contrast between the dark blues and the white of the sky.

Kenji: Wow, I didn't know that the puzzle was that large. *_* I'm glad to see that the puzzle glued worked out.

^ Awesome. laugh.gif

Kenji: You've just reminded mei of the FMA puzzle that her cousin got her...2 Christmases ago. It's, um, probably still sitting in a cabinet someone. happy.gif;

Puzzles look great when you glue and hang them up. mei's house is full of them, assembled back when she had time to do jigsaw puzzles with her mother~
Tombow
@Kenji - You did it!! That looks awesome on the wall!! biggrin.gif

@Abstruse Eulogy - What is that thing you put on Miyuki's head?? laugh.gif

These are some pics. I took a few days ago.

Camp fire.

The lake.

Trees.
Edamame
Abstruse: I love the photograph of your dog!

Sweety Pie: Your photographs make me feel nostalgia for summer camping trips.
Blitz
@ Sweety - Did you have a nice trip? Looks like fun~ ^^

Just an idea I came up with when I was at school but this is a conceptual type of photo.

(-.-)
Edamame
Blitz: Wow, that is a rather haunting photograph, but I like the original concept. I love the contrast between the whites and dark browns/ethereal blue tones. I also like how your hair completly erases your expression. Lovely work! You certainly have a talent for photography.
