They are beautiful pictures Ailuro, but I think the middle one has to be my favourite. No-body would identify that ah Hawaii unless you told them it was.
So haunting...oh have to put it as my wallpaper.

Unfortunately, where I live, there isn't much in terms of scenery. But I can show you the state of my
front yard and

The cars are shooting zig-zagged beams out of their headlights!
Quistis88
Mar 23 2006, 12:21 AM
The headlights look like worms.

Very nice photo.
Took
this one a while back during the China trip. These are "burning stoves" at the Temple of Heaven. The shot actually looks a lot nicer if I don't have to cut out just the middle to make the file size smaller.
Envy's lil' miniskirt
Mar 23 2006, 12:26 AM
I love the wormy effect of the headlights, the pic looks much cooler when it's fullsized but photobucked resized it.
Even though you had to crop the photo it's still a nice shot. I really like how it's set up with the trees in the back.

Very nice shots Chiyo. I love old churches.
Where is that church from?
Chiyo
Mar 23 2006, 02:28 PM
Lincoln Cathedral, Lincolnshire, England...soon to star in The Da Vinci code since Westminster did not want the movie to be filmed there.
And another traditional looking part of the City
Slashrose1010
Mar 24 2006, 03:12 PM
Aww, oh well. It is still a nice church. I also like old churches.
I would love to visit England. It seems like a nice place to visit despite having a reputation for bad food, and the pics you have shown are very quaint. I like older places like that. Not like the states, where everything is relatively new.
Chiyo
Mar 24 2006, 03:18 PM
Haha I'll let the quip about our food pass. Granted some of it is rather fowl, otherwise we are brought up on it and know no better
Yes Lincoln is an old city, with both a Cathedral and a Castle. Some of the houses are beautiful too, especially the Victorian housing at the top of Steep Hill. Rather wealthy people live there, so nothig much has changed over the years
Back at home we have a castle too, and our town is very important as it was the capital of a large part of England once. Nowadays its rare to find someone in the UK who knows where it is

Major OakThis trees, in the middle of Nottignham Forest, is believed to be nearly 1000 years old. Its 10metres in girth and is so old it is held up by poles.
Some also say, this was Robin Hoods hideout

If only the rest of Nottingham were as nice.

Here's a scan of the incredibly-emo-ish photo of
Ichigo I printed for my multiple-exposures assignment
(I didn't realize it looked all emo-ish and whatnot until every single friend I showed it to said so...<.<; ). It's far from perfect, but the entire thing was done manually (no Photoshopping, etc.), so I'm pretty happy with the results.
