It's good, but it's missing something. The whole way, you feel like the movie is incomplete.
I read you there. I loved the fact that for once Orlando plays a man. Something was missing though. Maybe something inbetween all the heads being lopped off? Can't really place what it was. I had this discussion in my film class a few weeks ago.
^^ Or, maybe the story was too clean, sanitized, and/or idealistic, and too tidy?? 
Don't get me wrong, I actually loved Kingdom of Heaven, while most of my friends thought the movie was boring.
I liked the fact that it was not another tipical Crusade movie, but yeah, the movie feels like 3/4 of a dinner, and agree with you that it feels like missing something.
Anyway, watching Family Guy.

Well, I've read that about 40-45 minutes worth of footage was cut out, because the producers worried that the film would otherwise get panned for being overly long, the same way Troy and Alexander were. So if a director's cut ever gets released, we'll know just what was missing.

My professor who worked on the film said it had something to do with not wanting to insult any religion or make one look bad causing people not to want to go see the movie. *Something like that*
