Yay for Ling love!!

I thought no one liked Ling? I'm surprised! I love Ling as well. I loved him at his first goofy appearance and his relationship with Ranfan is too cute and heartwrenching. I don't want to spoil the manga if anyone really hasn't got to it. But its really sad what ends up happening for me it was sad. He had even forgotten Ranfan...So sad

According to my vol 12, Ling is really Lin. They spell in english like that.

In truth, I actually like Ling better too and I think it sounds more Chinese-ish, Xing-ish.
But my manga keep on saying Lin... T_T

I haven't read the official translations published in the US, read zomgfta's translations, so i'm used to Ling, but i wonder oif people who only read that translation would say 'Omg, its not 'Ling' its 'Lin' when we talk about it...

Ling reminds me alot of Greed in this chappie when he snaps his fingers and Ranfan and the old man come out behind Ed and Al with knives....

I have the official Viz English translation with me, and I can assure you that his name is Ling Yao.

I was so glad they didn't change it too Lin, they probably thought it sounded girly too.
Would've hated to explain that "Lin Yao" is man to my none-fantranslation reading buddies.

And as for Gring, I like greed, I like Ling, don't like them together.

Christ, I love Ling. I know I'm certainly not the only one who's totally depressed that he didn't make an appearance in the anime. He would have been a kickass character.

I really, really hope that somehow the FMA manga storyline with Ling and the other Xing goodies will someday be turned into an animation someday.

P.S. Tombow, I love that cameo! He looks so laid-back and cool.

I LOVE ling! I mean Who couldn't love that smiley face! Although I love both Greed AND Ling, I like Ling a little more.

and Ling is brutal when he let greed take over his body? i was confused when he was taken over by greed because i thought he was just playing but it looks like he was actually greed O.O too bad he wasnt in the anime i was looking forward to seeing him.

that was the coolest part in the manga when greed's "spirit" takes over lings body. i wonder if in the new season that this part will be so epic as it was in the manga. i so can't wait ontill i see them in the new season. i so can't wait ontill that happens.

Yay! I love Gring! I really can't wait till he's in the anime along with Ranfan and mei-chan. One of my favourite parts with him is when he's in Gluttony stomach with Ed and when his body's taken over by Greed

Remember when Hughes had that huge amount of character development right before he was killed? You know, the scene where he taught Winry about guys and their pain and yada yada yada. Before that, he was just a bumbling idiot who talked about his daughter, and didn't have much screen time.

Well, when Ed and Ling experienced the Gluttony's stomach thing together, I was like... "Uh-oh... character development. Something's gonna happen to him! 0_0". My hunches are usually right with this sort of thing.

Also, YES! Ling action figure! WOOOOOOO!!!

Have you guys seen that new advert? (FMA brotherhood spoilers ahead) Ling's finally getting in the anime! I really can't wait! I like his new voice too, though I never expected it too be like that.

I cant believe he's the same seiyuu from death note(as light yagami)and Setsuna Seiei from gundam00.

lol! I just looked him up, he's sure played a varity of characters O_O and I swear he sounds different in all of them, I can normally tell if its the same voice. Kiba in wolf's rain, chaoji (seriously?? lol i hate him XD) in d gray man...TAMAKI! tamaki and light have the same seiyu?! well thats a surprise, they sound totally different to me, lol one of my most loved anime/manga characters vs my all time most hated lol, ling is a bit like tamaki, and i love tamaki's voice, I think it will be good if he can do something like that for Ling

After reading chapter 97 of the manga I'm so happy that Greed!Ling is back!! And he's gonna fight with wrath! I wonder if he'll be able to win? I hope so, maybe Lanfan will help him. Not only that, he's also finally in the anime. It's awesome watching him animated!

Ling is pretty awesome, he gave Bradley a little run for his money and now that he can calm and control greed, I think Bradley will meet his match. Ling's far too fast, calm and smart.

I'm glad he's back and such a cool entrance too. Most likely the coolest "hero" in the manga.
