Maybe when I have money to spare. (Which won't be for a while, I'm afraid.) Oh well, there's always loose fitting shirts.

Check with your insurance company. It's not a necessarily cosmetic procedure, so it may well be covered.

I had a friend in high school who had huge breasts. She used to do pull-ups to keep the muscles in that area firm for support. I don't know if yours are causing you pain or not but just a suggestion.

Me? I'm no where near fat since I have a high metabolism and have to work to keep weight on most of the time, that and I'm fairly active. Not as active as I used to be now that I'm working a desk job that I drive too and from every day. Even so, I'm nowhere near fat.

I envy people with good metabolism. Mine sucks ass, so I have to work really hard to keep my weight down. T_T

Well, here's the definition of Anorexia Nervosa.

QUOTE
Anorexia Nervosa
American Description

Diagnostic Criteria
Refusal to maintain body weight at or above a minimally normal weight for age and height (e.g., weight loss leading to maintenance of body weight less than 85% of that expected; or failure to make expected weight gain during period of growth, leading to body weight less than 85% of that expected).
Intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat, even though underweight.
Disturbance in the way in which one's body weight or shape is experienced, undue influence of body weight or shape on self-evaluation, or denial of the seriousness of the current low body weight.
In postmenarcheal females, amenorrhea, i.e., the absence of at least three consecutive menstrual cycles. (A woman is considered to have amenorrhea if her periods occur only following hormone, e.g., estrogen, administration.)

I was just wondering what anorexia included...since you did your research i'll say thanks, but I dont have an "intense fear" of gaining weight. I figure my body will grow naturally as I age.

People have said that about me since I lose weight so easily. I've been accused of being aneroxic and bulimic because I was so thin. Even though it was due to a high metabolism and an active lifestyle. It was a big conspiricy amoung some of my friends for a while, even though most had seem me eat and know I enjoy it.
nakagos bunny
I'm 16 and weigh around 100 lbs., and I'm about 5'1" I guess.

Everyone tells me I'm so thin, but I don't think I'm any thinner than most thin girls I see. It's just that I'm extremely small-boned and it makes me appear narrow and therefore thin.

Because I've seen girls who actually have skinnier legs and arms than I do, but if their bones are wider, they appear bigger than me.

I was just born a little runt, that's why I'm going to try to cosplay as Wrath, I figure I can pull off a kid's body. biggrin.gif

And my metabolism is pretty fast, I guess, 'cause I eat junk food a lot and all. If I gain weight anywhere, it's in my thighs and hips and ass. My upper body gains nothing.-__-
Carnal Malefactor
If you're 100 lbs at 5'1", that's perfectly healthy. I recall there used to be a guy who posted here who said he was over 6 feet tall, and weighed 120... now THAT is sickly thin.

What's the average weight for a 15-16 year old girl. (I know heighth effects it a lot but I'm just wondering where I compare to the average weight.)

Check with your insurance company. It's not a necessarily cosmetic procedure, so it may well be covered.

Unless she is experiencing pain directly related to her chest I doubt that they would cover any of the procedure.

THOUGHT ON THIS SUBJECT:
-Weight is not the biggest issue here. Fat is your enemy not necessarily weight. You could be 6 foot 250 lbs and be perfectly healthy.
-It can be just as unhealthy, if not more, to be too thin than too fat.
-Genetics are a big part of how fat/skinny you are and we can't change that(yet), but I think that a lot of people use that as a convenient excuse as to why they are overweight.

Fully aware of this. Still, I doubt anyone here is a bodybuilder type who can pack on 30-40 extra pounds of muscle. Except maybe Longsword, who's MIA.

@Ailuro-- You are underweight for your age. I'm 5'4'' and you weigh less than me. Not by much though. IMO a lot of people just say that because they are jealous.

laugh.gif That reminds me of the time I went out sightseeing in Kobe with Jun-san, and when we visited the candy factories, I kept taking free samples, and got some sweets as souveniers. Your BMI is 18.1, which is slightly underweight [the cutoff is 18.5].

Mine is 24.4, which is just under the overweight cutoff. Of course, there's more flexibility on the upper end, because muscle is denser than fat, so someone with a BMI of 30 can still be healthy if it's mostly muscle mass.
