This is all the same person...least so she says . This is an annoying fangirl thing...thievery. If they love something they tend just to take then act as if they never knew it was wrong.

That has been one of my greatest net-fears. That one of those elitist mockery groups (Hey, kettle! This is pot. BLACK! HA!) somewhere on the interwebz like CosplayF*cks, or Fandom_Wank, or Something Awful, might be watching something dumb I've been doing and mocking it. I've been rather scared of GAFF, not only for the godawful fanfiction, but for the sinking feeling that someday, somehow, my stuff will be featured there. Heck, YoukoFujima was mocked merilessly on GAFA for her art, and subsequently on Fandom_Wank when a bunch of her fans showed up to defend her. (In case you don't know, she draws decently, although some of her anatomy has bothered me, but I can't complain. An example of her work.)

Heck, even Ponderosa was featured as a disgraceful artist on 'FanartF**ks' (A community that mocks awful fanart.)

I've always kind of wondered what it would be like if some site like SA studied our forum as a further source of mockery for the anime community.

I don't know if we're much to wank really. Other than the usually anime forum fangirl squeeling the IQ here is pretty high.

Well, if they flame Ponderosa it just goes to show they'll flame anybody, I've seen really good cosplayers being picked apart for some stupid reasons.

Can overconfidence be someones downfall? Look at her username and costumes inspiration in particular.

Most of this was spent draggring her through a bush. I don't mean to be heartless but just becasue you're a female (supposedly) doesn't mean you like Winry. maybe it's the Sh8t eating grim or the over whelming sense of smugness but that Cosplay fails hard.

I think it's entirely for the fact that she draws yaoi/porny stuff.

That's Ed's costume isn't so bad but his wig needs help.

If what I saw in the links you so graciously supplied is considered 'awful fanart', then I'd challenge said antagonists to come up with anything better since what I saw was truly awesome! I can only DREAM of being able to draw that well!!!!

Look at it in a realistic way...if they 'mock' those who are truly gifted (as this Ponderosa OBVIOUSLY is!), it seems it is due to their own lack of talent.

I think the primary reasons said two were mocked were for subject matter rather than skill. (Although there were anatomy/style nitpicks for Youko) ((Oh yeah, on that matter, I forgot to mention that Caz (Go-Devil-Dante) was also called out for atrocious fangirlism and whatnot.))

The offending subject matter is most often gay themes or erotic/sexy art featuring male characters. (Nevermind the fact that these artists do tons of gen/yuri/straight-pairing stuff as well. Nooo the gayness is ebil!) Because, you know, women having sexual desires is just wierd and if they like to see male characters in erotic art, then that's just plain wrong! And stuff.
