but for some reason, i'm not entirely happy with this one... i dunno, she just seems a bit out of character with her clothes, same goes for the gay-looking roy poster ;;

Well, sorry for those who find Riza "classy" in the poster but she looks much more like an escort girl (call girl, upper level hooker) to me with this outfit (high heels boots, little bag and her posture). She looks like she is waiting for some client to show up. Then, when I saw the poster of Roy Mustang, it looks like in the poster he could be this Riza's pimp or client (his dandy attitude and outfit are a clue).
I guess the mangakas wanted to make fun of this serious "couple".

mangakas? arakawa-sensei is the mangaka but i doubt if she did this. no, when it comes to pics for animation, mangakas aren't in charge anymore. it's the collaboration of different illustrators.

Judging from a lot of posters here, there and every FMA board out there. A lot simply do not know that the mangaka, Arakawa-sensei had not contributed one bit to the anime after the initial discussion phase... I see quite a lot of them still blaming her for the scenes in the anime that deviated from the manga or that did not appeal to them or whatever...

It is not against me that you should be angry at, it is more against the illustrators, I am just giving an interpretation on the posters they did. That might be harsh but you should admit that the poster of Riza is a bit on the edge: blonde+high heel boots+long raincoat up to the knees+little bag+general gesture = ???

And finally, you should calm down, she is not a saint yet or a holly person, I did not insult her (like I could insult an anime character ...)
