I personally wouldn't mind a 1000 pages chapter 108 hahaha... that would kill Arakawa-sensei's right hand/automail lol!

I'm still debating if I want to read chapter 108... if I don't read it maybe I can pretend that FMA is not ending...

^The amount of spoilers across the internet is going to be inescapable and massive. Good luck avoiding it all. =[

At least she knows how and when to lay a work to rest. Other manga should follow her lead.

Oh yeah, totally.

There are (at least) two manga that I think should have ended like 3 years ago if not longer. Naruto (stopped reading 3 years ago) and Detective Conan (well I'm still reading this as the cases are at least somewhat interesting...).

Wow. What an incredible series this has been. With the dramatic turn of events in the last chapter and Arakawa's ways of twisting events, who knows what to expect at this point.

Does anyone else feel that given the current conditions in the series, one more chapter might feel kind of like... an abrupt ending? It just seems so much still needs to be covered, a few more chapters would make more sense to me. *shrug* I am glad that FMA isn't going the 500+ chapters route of other series and becoming stale, but... still.

Honestly, I hope that rumors about a very long final chapter are true.

pages 1-20 Father's fate.
pages 20-40 Hohenheim sacrifices himself to get Al and Ed's leg back.
pages 40-50 Everyone gets some breathing room.
pages 50-80 Character closures.
pages 80-100 Final Ed/Winry moments. (Harry Potter 19 Years Later style)

Well, that's my guess for Chapter 108. That's a lot of room for dialogue, too, as there shouldn't be much more action left. Plus, I have faith in Arakawa despite only being a follower for 10 chapters, so I'm not worried about an ending that will feel too abrupt. I don't expect everything to be answered, though.
