hehe i lost 240 posts or somewhere around 230 but it was half of my posts lol, 52%

My posts dropped a WHOLE lot, I was in the thousands now I'm in the 300s. Most of it came from Party House, oh well I don't care about the amount of posts.

They were not erased. they simply just do not count

The posts have not been "erased" from the forum, they simply no longer add to your post count.

Again, I ask: What's the big deal? The rankings never meant anything anyway, and if it did for some people...well, then, they should just re-evaluate what their purpose for coming to the forums is.

hey i like the forums, its a good chatting place, but i also like the ranks, its cool, i like to see a high ranking, even if it means nothing, if ranking doesnt mean anything then why have ranking?

I have to admit, I miss being a Brigader General.

the thing is i like it saying i had over 1000 posts but it dose not realy matter i know i have it.

^ sadly you only have 100 posts now. which mean 900 of those posts were in spam central. that must've hurt a lot.

I still need to check what I'm more involved in.

EDIT: Aw... I wanted my Spam Central stuff erased... I like OC more now.

It used to make me feel kinda bad when I see people with higher ranks than me just because they post in the spam central more than I do.

The posts aren't gone! They're just not counted towards the amount of posts displayed in your user info.

I "lost" a little over 1000 posts myself.

And the date you signed up for the forum is displayed right by the ranks and everything, so there's nothing to worry about.

I actually lost around 3500 posts, believe it or not. Then again, that's probably mainly from closing/merging/etc. threads.

ya, post counts really just show how much time you spend on the forums LOL, i think that 10 posts a day is ALOT, because i dont find much to talk about. Penny for your thoughts is kinda like spam but o well.

Why dont you just close spam central becasue the posts dont count any more.

I agree. Why do post counts matter so much? If posts matter so much to you, reconsider why you're here.

For me it doesn't really matter I guess it just saddened me the tiniest bit Otherwise I just love being on the forum in the first place

It's not bad if you post responsibly (and that goes for any other section of the forum, too--not just Spam Central). Spam Central is for threads that don't fall under any of the main categories, but that doesn't mean that you can or should make pointless threads/posts or attempt to chat via posting. By making it so that posts in Spam Central don't count towards the ranking is meant to discourage such behavior.

Okay, wondering if this happened to anyone else, but for some strange reason about half my posts have gone missing!!
In cause someone else also has the same problem.

uh...did you read the first page? or the [second]? the post that you had in spam central have been [erased] from your total post count, and posting there will not increase your post counts anymore.

I hope i said it right, if now feel free to edit this post.

It isn't a problem, merely a new forum setting.
