Man the entire convo's down in Devil's nest were hilarious. Greed was so funny in the manga... and the joke about Dorchett peeing w/one leg up... XD

Barry snuggling up to Riza and Roy getting that 'I am really pissed now' look, and when Riza calls Roy an idiot when he came to the rescue by blasting gluttony off the balcony....

Those are great, but I have another one. After a fight with Scar, when Al was kicking Ed and his hand suddenly fell down. It was rather a sad moment, but I was laughing like mad.

The look on the Xing group's faces when they conclude the reason why the homunculi aren't dying.

About the third or so time Ed busted his arm badly, and Winry started chasing him around with a chainsaw. A frame later, we see a mosaic over a bloody puddle with a brade and an antenna sticking out. XD

Yes, yes, that was increadibly funny!

favorite funny scene: when scar attacked Ed, roy to the rescue but Hawkeye tripped him and reasoned out that he was USELESS in the rain! hahahaha!! when i saw this scene, I knew i was hooked to RoyxRiza...

The mega-flashback with Izumi and the boys getting left behind at the island. The way the brothers tried to get their food, especially with the fish. Can't get it out of my head, my God. The way they re-did it in the anime was absolutely perfect! But we're talking manga here, so.. *shrug*

My favorite is in the 2nd gaiden, when Black Hayate is up against the wall after being shot at >< That made me laugh so hard.

oh yeah... the black hayate gaiden! and he was just soo adorable! XD

2nd funniest moment for me was when havoc came to the armstrong household to meet armstrong's little sister... now THAT was funny! I couldn't stop laughing!

Favorite would be when Armstrong found out Ed & Al went into the Fifth lab and then crushed Ed in his arms while screaming "I WAS SO WORRIED, EDWARD ELRIC!!!"

you, the part where armstrong made Ed's injuries worst in the hospital? yeah, that was very hilarious

i guess armstrong took over the role of comedian when Hughes, uhm, left... ehehehe...

One wonders if the Armstrong family's sparkles is done with Alchemy or some strange mysterious mutant ability

Armstong is really funnY! I love those moments, when he takes his shirt off with roses around him and ppl ask 'why the hell did he strip?'

That's the one. Seeing Ed go OДO watching Armstrong skulk over was funny as all HELL.

Perhaps he has a whole team of special effects crew surrounding him...

Like Ed with his clap-technique. Seriously that clap-sound effect is awesome. *__* I like the way they did Al's sounds of movement too.

if we come to sounds, i really-really loved Ed acting like Roy (ep 13, I suppose?) that was really funny!

The scene in the hospital with Hughes joking about Ed's relationship with Winry. Sadly, that didn't make it into the anime.

The scene with Hughes suddenly pulling out a gun and threatening to hurt anyone who touched Elysia. Sadly, that didn't make it into the anime.

hehehe, winry chasing ed with a chainsaw for destroying his automail (and the censored image of ed afterwards) was hilarious! roy and havoc whispering about how havoc got deceived with his "girlfriend's" big boobs was funny! izumixsig moments are fun! so much comedy in the manga were deprived from the anime.

agreed. what i really liked about the manga compared to the anime was that it could go from angsty to comcial uber fast! a couple things i like about a series is that angst/seriousness to comedy speed, and it makes you think. and the manga had both. while the anime kinda had the angst to comedy it didn't happen as often as the series went on and i was a little dissapointed.

as far as favorites scenes go, i can't decide. but all the ones mentioned so far are defiently up there on my list! also, ed's "pride of the older brother" and basically whenever he goes balistic about being called 'short', or something. etc.

I think it's a good thing that the anime is more serious, though. If it's just a slapstick and full of funny moments, I doubt it's gonna be as memorable. A light watch, maybe, but not a "classic."

Hehe, the way Ed measures the importance of both Ed and Al and comes up with Al on top. So very Ed-like.

That was funny too... Actually ALL the scenes you guy mentioned were all to UBER FUNNY!!!!!

Let's face it, all of the funny moments would take up 3/4ths of the mang itself. Not that I'm having any trouble with that.

comedy aside, the best thing about the manga is its mystery and current plot. it is humble yet dark. i like it.

barry was also funny... hehehe, he kept wanting to chop up people and only hawkeye was able to subdue him like that like a stray dog to a new master, hahaha!! i don't think he would've cooperated with roy & co. if it wasn't for her.

Um, I can't remember the exact chapter, but it was later in the manga when Ed and Al first meet Ling and Lan-Fan.

I think it was the chapter where Ed fought Lan Fan, Al fought Fu. The scene occurs just after the Xings were defeated by the bros. Chapter 33?

yep, chapter 33... Ed even insisted on helping to fix the damages they made even with a broken automail...

Oh man, how could I forget Fu! He's cool.

i like how Ed is being such a brat in the manga... makes him more fun and interesting.

lanfan was pretty angry with how Ed "recreated" her mask.

and then Aru made her a new one [better/more to her liking]. and ed's ego went pop again. so funny when the siblings compete, even if it's only one sided

I agree, very adorable. And very realistic. Reminds me of my own fights and fights between my siblings.

I liked it when Winry kinda beat the shit out of Ed the 2nd time (he was censored) and when that girl servant of that Xing guy (I forgot their names ><") kept kicking the crap out of Envy and Envy was just kinda helpless... sadist??

Lanfan is the girl servant, Fu is the old man servnat and Ling is their master... ooh yah! Lanfan was cool when she kicked Envy's butt!

That's not really the kind of "funny" I was thinking about, but hell yea, I was also laughing cause I CAN'T STAND Envy. I still remember the time in lab 5 when he beat the crap out of Ed and I was just so angry. Is that only in the anime? Anyways, that makes no difference. I still hate him.

nope, this also happened in the manga. if you hate envy that much, then you're gonna love Lanfan who kicked envy's butt.

Go LanFan GO!!!!!!!!!! WooooHooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! I never realy liked Envy... (in the anime he's just too strong) So to see him in such a state... I was in ecstacy!!(Sorry Vael....)

Hmm, I liked it when Envy beat Ed in that fight at the Fifth Lab... O_o 'm weird that way. ('t was a funny scene when Ed's automail short-circuited - Envy's reaction. ) XD But what I especially liked was the way Envy carried Ed out of the building. Yeah.

...I don't like Lan-Fan. O_o *ducks*

Envy is so much more loveable in the manga...

bradley is the 2nd most lovable of the homunculi (second only to greed)... it'll be a pity to have to kill him off someday.
