I've searched that in the entire volume 15 and I can say it isn't there. Given that it is the long Ishval flashblack volume, I doubt the scene can be found somewhere else... but how to know?
Anyway, either you're a bit mistaken about the scene details or it just doesn't exist, that's what I think. ^^U

No, there's a short Ishbal flashback scene before that- only a few pages. Roy's remembering. It might be there.

Well, I don't think she actually noticed because they were too busy arguing, but in chapter 84 it's clear that Ed is taller than her

Hey if anyone knows the scenes where Scar and Miles interact with each other in anyway, that'd be great. I mean if they do at all. Ive missed a lot of the scenes where Scar meets other Ishvallians. I'm interested to see his reaction to an Ishvallian in the military.

Yap, and.. I recommend reading that whole chapter, as that chapter has some deep stuff. ^^
But.... the scanlation for that particular chapter on Onemanga.com is just... so... bad. >.<
If you can, try to locate the better scanlation.. I know much better scanlation is out there for that particular chapter. ^^ Or, read the official scanlation, like, if you can find the volume book for that chapter (Vol. 18) in your local library. IMO it's worth doing that for that chapter.

The part you're looking for is called "The Elric Family Omake" (from volume 14).

Can anyone locate the scene in which it's stated that Mustang can't become Fuhrer due to the actions he's taking in trying to overthrow the military (i.e. kidnapping the Fuhrer's wife, etc.) because they don't/won't want a rebel at the top of the ranks?
(Unless I am imagining this scene, which is perfectly possible.)
Thanks!
EDIT: Or is that possibly a scene from the first anime?

Ok, I've tried searching, with little success (I'm probably not looking in exactly the right place). I looked in the omake thread to see if I could find the omake where Riza gets Black Hayate, but the only scan I see is the final page, where she names the pup. Does anyone have the location of the full "Dog In The Military" omake (where Hayate shows up, and the various members of the Roy tachi explain why they can't take him?). Also, if there's a scan of the scene where Riza "potty trains" Hayate, that would be awesome.<3 Thanks!

I can't say any specific chapter, but I'm pretty sure it was a single omake (one and only which introduced all Armstrong siblings).

@
angelofsarcasm89 - They are stated so in the Guidebooks (separate entries in separate Guidebooks.)
*
Madam Christmas' entry is in the recently published Character Guide, and you can read more on this on
this post.
(also scroll down to my post there for the translation of the scanned entry ^^)*
General Grumman's entry is in Perfect Guidebook 2, and you can read more on this on
this post (or on several other posts, but this is the one I just found XD)BTW, we will be moving this Q&A to
FMA Character Q&A thread in a while.

Sadly what can be read in manga is only mentioning Madam Christmas is Roy's foster mother. (
here is the place in manga, if your friend watches Brotherhood, it should be in episode 48 this Sunday)
But the other facts are said in Character Guideboks. In Character Guidbook 2 in Grumman's profile is stated he's Riza's grandfather (again, we don't even know whether or not she's aware of it) and in Character Guidebook 3 we get to know Madam Christmas is Roy's father's sister. (side 105,
here's the picture)
Oh, too late I see

Now that I went digging for the right chapter in my manga collection, I'm not sure he's married.
Anyway, according to the translation used for this
scanlation of 65 he's married. While Viz's translation mentions his mother, not wife.
The scanlation was put out by ZomgFTA, who I trust.
Any translators that read the raw willing to help us sort this out?

Welcome to our board,
omitertul!
There is no scene in FMA manga that has General Grumman directly saying that
Riza is his granddaughter. although there are some scenes in which he mentions his granddaughter.
(If you're interested, we had several related discussions on this, including a discussion on whether Roy/Riza knew about this, etc., such as one here. ^^) The information that Riza is Grumman's
grandchildren is coming form FMA Perfect Guidebook 2. I think we talked about this in several places in our forums, and you can read one of those
here.
