I liked the irony of animal rights people shooting down everyone to "save the whale"!! XDD
They include that kind of irony stuff a lot in South Park, and I love that.

Fail much? This episode was much better than the global warming episode from last year. I'm having my hopes up that Matt and Trey are learning from their mistakes. However, they can tone down all the graphics. :|

For those who haven't seen this, this is the news relaitng to tonight's episode, posted by
Envy's lil' miniskirt-san the other day on
Crazy News Item Of The Day thread in Open Chat forum.

I had to come drop this off for you guys. This is one of the craziest news stories I've heard in a while.
Issac Hayes finds South Park offensive and quits. It took him nine years to realize that nothing is sacred to Matt and Trey? Damn, he's slow.

(FYI, just in case anyone didn't know.. Issac Hayes who played Chef's voice is a member of the Church of Scientology, and he was offended by a Souh Park episode that made fun of Scientology, and "decided" to quit... just wondering who "decided"... him, or the church.

)
I guess this episode was the answer from Matt and Trey for that.

I heard on the radio this morning that Issac Hayes actually didn't quit the show. He had a stroke not long ago and was taking a break. They had audio of him talking about it so it must be true.
I had hoped Issac Hayes was smarter than that.

Mini-san!!
Accordingly, I did little more digging into this "
Chef-gate", and this one, from Fox news (of all the places!!) says (as
Mini-san has said) that Hayes was suffering a minor stroke, and was in no conditions to issue such a statement (but someone did issue that statement "for him"

) and in fact, he was DEFFENDING South Park about that episode prior to the statement coming out, and Hayes's camp has NO IDEA who issued that "Hayes quits over offending episode" statement.
Wow, plot thickenes!!
Isaac Hayes may have quit 'South Park' by his own Not-Free willoriginal Fox News article

Chef-Gate

Sweet!
Thanks for finding that link Tombow. You're really good at finding things you should be a private detective.
Those Scientologist bastards! I hate them even more now after pulling that stunt. How low do you have to be to pull something like that? He's recovering from a stroke for gawds sake!
I really couldn't believe that he would leave South Park for that reason but those Scientologists are a crazy lot so it was hard to say.

^^ Thank you,
Mini-san!!

Yeah, I agree, and that article sounds kind of more likely, IMO.
And, this explains part of the episode's storlyine (or the intentions of the storyline,) such as evil group taking hold of Chef, and brain-washing him, and boys keep saying Chef was a good guy who was influenced by an evil group (ha, wonder if that eviil group was supposed to represent something-else...

)
There are repeats of the same episode on Thursday and on Friday nights, I think.
I may try to watch it again!!

I just got to see it. Yes, I think it's safe to say that the Super Adventure Club was indeed suppose to be scientologists, especially after the "this is what they really believe" part.
It's a good thing they can crank out the shows so quickly, makes me wonder if it was a publicity stunt.

Last night's episode was probably one of their best rips ever.
Family freakin' Guy
That's right, Family Guy, and for once I'm going to have to agree with Matt and Trey on this one. Family Guy just plain blows now. It used to be good, but they're just not trying anymore. Now you have all these weaboo otaku and goth/emo faggots ranting on how great the show is and how evil Stewie is. Way to rape my fandom.

Family Guy has always been funnier than South Park. Yes, it's full of nonsequitirs, but not nearly to the extent that its critics like to accuse it of being. Plus, I live in New England, so a lot of the jokes have special significance for me... my home town was the place with the Twinkie factory in the Y2K episode!

Actually, if I remember correctly, I think in one episode they explained that all these "Kennys" are clones of original Kenny... or they were artificially reproduced multiples, or something like that.

What are the thoughts on last weeks Imagination Land episode? The creators really strive to push limits in all ways possible. Cartman's taking the whole "suck my balls" contract to court and being upheld was funny and bizarre. I'm a long time fan of the show and then Team America, but my head was tilted last week and I was

when the terrorists blew up the carebear and Count Chocula. I'm curious to see what will come from Part 2.
