i just wanna know how many people like the japanese soundtrack of Digimon because sometimes i think i'm the only person who likes this stuff lol
there's not many Digimon fans left (that i know of!) i don't think...

I haven't heard any BGM at all, but I have heard a few Japanese Digimon songs, which aren't bad, although they don't really stand out to me much.

Wait a minute, when you said "soundtrack" did you mean OST or any of the CDs that have been released? I was assuming you meant OST... ;;

And yes, Yuuki wo Tsubasa ni Shite was definitely one of the best songs. But, as I said, I love almost all of the image songs.

I wouldn't trust Babel Fish if I were you. ;; You can always check animelyrics.com for a better translation of the song name.

and as far as BabelFish, i don't really trust it either, but it's the best one i've found so far that'll translate the Kanji...it won't translate the Romaji tho...stupid BabelFish...

OST usually refers to the music that plays in the background throughout the series. (Otherwise known as BGM) Normally, they're music without vocals, but that's not always the case.

There are a few sites with translated song names and lyrics... But I suppose it's matching the song and it's name that is the problem. ;;

usually as long as the lyrics are posted i can tell what the song is by listening to it while reading the lyrics...that's what i had to do to figure out what half of my music was lol!

I did not care much for the BGM in Digimon, really, but as mentioned, the character image songs are definitely a hit with me. A song that I really like is "Forever Friends", performed by Hassy (is it a person or group?).

yeah "Forever Friends" is a good one..."Beat Hit" is another good one, by Miyazaki Ayumi...^.^ good song...i think it's the Jogress Evo theme...

Found this. Gosh.. there are so many themes that I like.
My definite favourite is Brave Heart. The evelution theme from the Adventure season. I loved it since the moment I heard it and for some reason I really like it still.. Which is pretty rare, since usually the obsession dies down a little after listening to it over and over.
Hmm.. I like most of the opening/ending themes and other eveolution themes too .
As for character songs.. those that I've heard.. my favourite is Holy Light (Hikari's theme from Adventure)

@charity_azure_alchemist: Kazama Yuuto is Yamato's voice actor. Negai Kanaeru Kagi (The Key to Granting Wishes) is Yamato's 02 image song.

I like most of the songs sung by Wada Kouji for the series. Innocent ~Mujaki na mama de~ is also a good song by him.

While we're on the topic of Wada Kouji, An Endless Tale by Wada Kouji and AiM is my favourite ending theme.

I like the German soundtracks^^;; Never heard the Japanese ones though............. I used to be a huge Digimon fan.. And I still kinda am, because, when I first like a series, I'll never really stop liking it.

@Mike: Oh, gods, the dub theme...>.< *sigh* I remember when I used to run around my house singing it...religiously. I actually prefer the Japanese soundtrack better, but the dubs had some good stuff....like the Frontier theme...that one was pretty cool....
