Here's the slightly more word-for-word version... (I'm going to put it all into quote boxes, for some reason...)
I went back and added the stuff that was originally in English, so the whole thing should read a lot more smoothly, now.
Elderberry: Hm! There were plenty of weird things you said in that other thread earlier now, weren't there~!
Goldfish: <English> *waves* Haha! That's awesome.
Phoenix Alchemist: <English> Its 1:33 in the morning, and i have to go to sleep, sugar and caffine rush wearing off, "see" u all later........*Snoring*
DefiningMind: Sleep is sounding very good too...I must reply to my girlfriend's e-mail and then be off. *bows and takes his leave*
Blueices: Who did you want to talk to...me???
Ninja: What weird stuff? By the way, you seem to use "wa" rather often...you're more feminine than I am.
Elderberry: <English> Aah, Blueices-san, I was responding to Goldfish-kun, you merely interjected...
That's pretty good Japanese for less than one year...Watching anime does give a major boost to learning less formal speech...To start with, you could always drop the 'desu' and just add 'ka' for questions...
Ahem...Yes, I speak Japanese in a very weird blend of masculine and feminine speech...I like puctuating sentences at the end with 'wa' a lot...(must be the lasting effects of my Tomoyo Ohohoho~ laugh...happy.gif;;) I suppose I would typically prefer to speak in feminine form, since it's easier for my poor Japanese classmates to understand. If I get annoyed, I won't hesitate to jump over to "Ore" and all the other more rough ways of speech that come with it and start yapping random Japanese insults (think "Chibi" Ed~)
Bluices: Goldfish is a fish so it's perfectly fine for him, right?
Goldfish: As good as anime may be, I do not understand a lick of what you all just said. If that is what you were asking, blue, it is merely coinicidental.
Elderberry: Well, now...So if he's a fish...what kind of meaning does that have? *puzzled*
(Aww, poor,
poor Goldfish-kun, not being able to understand any of this...

)
Blueices: I guess its a bit unfair that other people have no clue what's going on.

[Will return to english mode]
It was fun, wasn't it?
Elderberry: Yep. A bit strange somehow, but it was fun~
