i am pissed. i decided not to sample my friend's jamba juice today because she was coughing in calc and a lot of people have been getting sick lately, and she said that NO she's not sick, put her mouth about an inch away from mine and started coughing. on my lips and face. if she wasn't a friend, i would have smacked her because i'm really anal about people within 10 feet of me not covering their mouths when they cough, and that was just plain disgusting. but i feel like i should have just given her the bitch slap i was supressing, because i now have a sore throat and a cough.

i cannot be incapacitated before my risd deadline. if i get sick and bedridden before the deadline and somehow screw over my portfolio, i will personally beat the living crap out of any remotely unhealthy person at school and force the remaining live ones to wear sars masks until further notice.

if i'm still not feeling well on monday she'll feel my full wrath, friend or not. i hate getting sick.

- psycho's mentino of bleachers just reminded me of how dangerous the ones at my school are. Maybe that's why I never go to any of the home games. (Or away games, for that matter

--bleachers = scary)
- I'm itching to start making the dragon puppet. I have an idea of how to make it, just need to make sure it'll work out. Maybe I should make a mini-model first...?

Thoughts:
- Tired after the 5 year old party last night. My daughter turned into a crazed maniac running around the place and didn't want to go home.
- Watching Maggie and the Ferocious Beast with my daughter. Fun cartoon

- Got done playing the piano a bit. I acually did begin to work on getting through to the 4th measure in Liszts Transendental etude #10. At this rate, I'll finish it by the time I'm 80 year old

- I need an automatic page turner for my sheet music. I can now play most of the Erlkonig without forgetting what I'm doing, but I have to stop to turn pages because I'm not fast enough (I'm still not playing it at Schnell speed though

)
- Why am I so proud of myself for absolutely the smallest achievements? I guess I have low expectations

It's the small acheivements that count. Yesterday I was showing off the Shibumi paper airplane that I learned how to make from one of my teacher's paper airplane books. It was the coolest paper airplane I ever did make! (And it glides real good, too!

My old piano teacher way back when I was in high school had small hands too. He always had to break up anything that was wide. He told me early to stretch my fingers out and take advantage of my reach.

I'm not, but I like to play. It's only been within the last year that I even got a cheap electric piano for my apartment (I would feel horrible forcing others to listen to me sometimes).

I've never tried the ignore feature. When I do, that's when you know I'm really annoyed, and believe me, I'll let you know when I'm ignoring you.

I admire arche and Quistis' reach. I can barely--just barely do a 9th. I'm thinking my piano doesn't like me much.

- Just came back from the bookstore--a very good find, though there's way too many romance novels per science-fiction/fantasy. That ratio doesn't work for me. But the owners were nice. They have a tutoring service that my sister would like to do for community service. I would help out, too, but between the MakeAWish stuff and my senior project, I don't think I would have the time.

- Purchase list: The Scarlet Pimpernel, Beowulf, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Wind in the Willows.

- came home from art to find people in my house installing a satellite dish network.....what in the world do we need 180 channels (including 17 chinese channels) for?

- don't feel as sick anymore

- found out that my art teacher's [rather hot] son is applying for a transfer to risd because his younger sister, my friend, is there right now and having a great time.....so hopefully the both of us will make it in

his portfolio deadline is 3/1, though, whereas mine is 2/15.
