New York Anime Fest/Comic Con is next weekend! I'm going! It looks awesome.

CTs:

- I had driver's ed today. And I'm not a terrible driver. I'm actually pretty darn good. Woo~

- I'm so lazy. I have so much stuff to do, but I'm not doing any of it.

- I had a crazy dream last night! It involved me being stabbed in the stomach, Steve Carell in a penguin costume, and the most gorgeous scenery I've ever dreamed of (or seen in real life, for that matter). It was like a big university campus, and it was so pretty and the image is still so vivid in my mind. And the dream ended where I was running down its roads. I wish I could go to the places in my dreams, but irl, y'know?

- So late last night, I did end up going out. Woot. It was a ton of fun~ Went to my friend's house, played COD, and sang Britney Spears songs.

I went to watch some anime with the anime society I joined, on Thursday. We watched Chobits and it has to be one of the worst things I've ever watched...Just isn't my thing at all. xD

CTs:

-I'm getting kind of worried that I haven't been receiving any form of post lately. Well, for weeks, really...I usually get at least something. xD;

-I'm, still in a lot of pain from my fall. The pain has actually gotten worse on my right side and I can't even lie on it when I go to bed. >.<; My arm even hurts to lift it up.

-I'm home for the weekend, which I'm happy about. Although I'm in home alone at the moment.

-I wish it wasn't raining so much, I've been devoid of any sort of luck lately; it was only yesterday I got drenched by a human-sized wave created by a van driving through a huge puddle while I was walking back to my room. I was soaked from head to toe. xD

-My RING is gone! My RING!!! The one my parents gave me for my 20th birthday! I'm such a failture! I already checked the bill when they weren't watching, it was DAMN expensive!
I remember putting it off my finger on Wednesday in the neighbour class and don't remember putting it on again! I put it on my laptop. So while packing my laptop I must have dropped it. I hate myself so much for that! And I remembered only today that it wasn't on my finger. Somebody shoot me please =(. I am so stupid, I can't believe it.

-I hope that the cleaning lady found it AND will give it back. I want to ask the teacher who was the cleaning lady for that day and ask her. Maybe I will put a finding fee or something. I hope that someone found it and gave it a teacher. I was already used to that nice feeling on my finger. It's actually supposed to be an item I can give away to my children, something valuable to stay in the family. But my birthday is two months ago and I already lost it. Honestly I am so worried. If I won't find it again, dunno what I will do. I told my parents, they don't care as much as I do about it, they are pessimistic and don't really believe that I will get it back. Please someone wish me luck for finding it =( I feel like a 1000% idiot.

@A Pierrot's Aria: Lol, Chobits. I can't say I really liked that show either. I'm sorry to hear that you're still in pain; it could just be from bruising. (I assume that you DO have bruises after the fall you had!) But if you're still aching in a few days time, you should probably go see a doctor to be on the safe side.

@black~hayate: I wish you luck in finding your ring.

It sucks when you lose something like that...

- I went to a wedding yesterday.

It was a simple, yet beautiful, affair. Though, I have to admit, it would've been a whole lot more enjoyable if I didn't have to listen to the snide comments of the people sitting behind me...

- Does anyone else get annoyed at people who favourite an ongoing story on ff.net without reviewing it?

- It's a warm day today... I miss the rain already!

We don't have anything planned on our board, but... how about, sending your quick shout-out/messages to FMA character on GanGan magazine's "Don't forget FMA" site??

Tho, unfortunately, right now we can send only to Winry, May, Pinako, and/or Hohenheim. (We had a chance to send our messages to Roy and the gang sometime earlier, and Ed and Al are probably coming up sometime later.)

Anyway, if you're interested in sending your shout-out to these characters, we got set-by-step "how to" guide here. (See the part for period 5) And, yes, you CAN send it in English. (I just sent my all English message to Winry.

) The only drawback is that the max length for the message is only 20 letters including spaces, so that if sending in English it's going to be a really short message. xp

Pyroclasm--Yeah, "fave without review" happens to me, too. I really dislike when it's 100 hits, and there's no reviews, but 2 or 3 people have favorite-ed something. I at least want to know what it is that they marked it as a favorite for!

--3.Oct. Wow. Totally forgot. Some fan I am!

--I hate it when I'm doing the right thing in Physics according to the text, but then I do it another way, and while the first way didn't work, the second way does. Or when answers that should match up, don't.

--Well, I've done most of my CSE assignment without help. I stopped because I was tired, but I need to do more today. Logic puzzles are fun!

--I bought a book for 25% of its normal price, all because it was marked "used". It's in excellent condition and everything! College budget + bargains = this works.

Whining aside, I love this, but I have no idea what to say. xD And the fact that it has to be 20 letters isn't helping.
Are you sure it's 20 letters and not 20 words?

That's even worse than twitter. And, could I send a message to each of the characters in this period, or do I have to choose only one?

@Rainshine - You can send your message to all of the listed characters, but each message must be submitted separately.
And, yes it's Max 20 chars, and that means if sending in English it has to be a very very short shout-out. Or, you can be adventurous and try sending it in Japanese (you may try on-line translators to compose some simple Japanese messages? ^^) and that way if you use Kanji characters 20 chars can get you a fairly nice message because with Kanji each one character often works like a word! :) ~ Tombow

@jacksparrow589: I know, it's annoying. If someone's going to favourite a story, the least they could do is drop a review and say "I really like your story", IMO. It's really not too much to ask for a single review if someone likes a story enough to favourite it, is it?

@Razzy: It just bugs me because I really like some kind of feedback. If someone favourites a story, then they obviously like it, and I want to know why.

CTs:

- I really need to make my spaghetti and meatballs the next time my sister comes home. I haven't cooked it in ages and she keeps dropping unsubtle hints whenever she visits. Of course, I have to go buy all the ingredients to make it first...

- I have a puppy licking my foot.

- There are dishes piling up in the sink... I better go wash them.

--If I knew the CSE building better, I'd be "mentoring" the new CSE direct admits. I'm sure they're all cute 'n' starry-eyed. Maybe next year.

--I finally asked one of my classmates to help me out with math after telling him I'd probably be asking for the past year. Though we verbally spar a lot, he was really helpful, and I got all my work done.

--Now I can spend tomorrow afternoon lazing about.

--My friends are so wonderful: they'd been telling me that they were going to write a message in ketchup when I was at work, and yesterday, they waited until I came by, and wrote in ketchup on a napkin, "We love you!" It was amazing.

--I have realized that my physics professor looks like Vladimir Putin, and my weather professor looks like Ricky Gervais.

Pyroclasm- Ah, I get whatcha mean. That mostly annoys me on deviantART, especially those who fave anything with their favorite fandom or relating to their favorite fandom in it, without commenting. Though I do appreciate faithful watchers who fave everything, I'd wish they'd leave feedback or something. ^^;;;

- I didn't do any work today! Aaargh! I'm so lazy. D:

- The only thing I hate about digital art is having to sit at the computer for a long time... now my shoulders hurt like crazy. Ouch.

- My dog had maybe 5 seizures in the past few days. The first one was really bad; afterward, she started chewing the wire fence, and wouldn't let go... her mouth was bleeding like crazy. The others weren't as bad, but they were still bad. Now she's not the same. She stares at my family like she doesn't know us.

Hopefully she'll be back to her old self soon.

I hope she feels better soon, I would hate if my dog acted thatw ay, I know I'd be really upset too.

I, am sick :/ Fever, throwing up, the works. I hate it >.< And tomorrow I have to finish up my article for the school newspaper, and stay after for stage crew to help with the pep rally on Friday.

--My physics professor was trying to explain what permeability is, and ended with, "I understand it in Russian [his native language], but I don't have the words for it in English." We all laughed, but it's kind of true: lots of languages don't have exact translations for concepts, so you have to go with the essence of it.

--Funny thing is, I was just checking out a book in the bookstore the other day that posed (and attempted to answer) the whole "How do we understand/translate something for which we don't have the same words as others?" problem.

--Yesterday was amazing. I spent 2.5 hours wandering between the bookstore and 2 of the campus libraries. My search yielded about 30 books I now want to read. College, why must you be so time-consuming? *shakes fist*

--I'm not drowning in work/concepts I don't understand. Working hard to stay afloat, but not drowning. It's all cool.

- I was looking at the Saturday schedule for NYAF/NYCC... this is weird. Are there no NYAF panels on Saturday? Only NYCC? And none of them seem very interesting. Dude, that's weak. I guess I'll just wander around the Dealer's room and peruse the Artist Alley all day.

- Skipped play rehearsal today to get work done. With those two extra hours, I still wasn't able to get all my work done... How sad.

- Fall is always a stressful season for me. Mainly because of the school play in November. Ugh.

It was so embarrassing the other day- I went to see someone at the finance desk regarding my rent and I simply walked up to the desk and couldn't speak for breathing so hard.

I seriously can't be bothered with any lectures today. >.<;

Speaking of lectures, I have to set off for one now! I should have kept note of the time.

-Didn't get my ring back

-Remember the impooooortant test I wrote two weeks ago? And it being the one my future depends on? I failed.

-I had a deep depression on the beginning of the week (because of the reasons above). And guess what? Because of it I fell sick.

-Right now I feel really bad. The feeling is as if you want to throw up but it just doesn't work. All the time with little breaks. I got a stress-depending gastritis ignition. A light one. I'm so lucky...

-The teacher however insured me that even that I failed the test, we will manage and I'll finish this year sucessfull. He said it would be a shame if I would loose a year just because of economy, since my other grades are brilliant. Didn't expected him to talk to me like this, I always believed that he hates me. Didn't believed that he is a nice teacher but hey, seems like he really is.

-Everyone is going to a party today but since I'm sick, I won't go. Too bad some one I want to see is there. He promised me to drink something for me, lol, what a favor.

~hayate--I had a religion teacher like your economics teacher a couple years ago. I'm glad he's going to help you! But I'm still sorry you didn't get your ring back, and now you're sick...

--Friday schedule: Bioscientific vocabulary and weather from 8:30-10:20 (we run on 50-minute classes with 10 minutes between), then physics lecture and lab from 11:30-2:20-ish (we leave lab when we're done), and CSE from 2:30-3:20. Lunch is definitely going to be on-the-run today. :/

--I found out that my co-worker on my Tuesday dining hall shift is also in my physics lecture, and my lab, too! She's really nice. I hope we can be lab partners!

--One of my friends walked up to the register yesterday on my dining hall shift, but he didn't recognize me for a second. It was really amusing, watching his expression.

--Headed home for the weekend... after work on Saturday.

--"...and [our local] weather balloon is launched from Quillayute which is near where our local vampires hang out. Forks is here [plots on map], and the werewolves are about here [points to the La Push area]..."--my weather professor, who has only seen the first Twilight movie. The Twilight series is no big deal to me, but I still had to laugh.

- Thank heavens it's Friday, and it seems I survived this week.
- Didn't get as much done this week, and that means more tough days/weeks ahead, but at least I can take a breather for a few days.
- Can't wait to hear more news/info about the coming GanGan issue with a poster of new FMA movie! (Though we don't even know when it's coming out... we know it's not this month's issue, and hoping it will be next month's issue. ^^)

-Student Finance really are a pain in the backside.

Two weeks ago they told me that my loans would be sorted within a week. It hadn't. I phoned them again, and they told me it would take another week, but I've yet to see any sort of progress! I'm a financial cripple right now! I feel awful having to rely on my mum and dad all the time.

That's pretty much all that's on my mind right now. Having no money is depressing as hell. xD

-Hey everyone, sorry I"ve not been on lately, work has been hectic with the pick up in business but also they've given me more responsibility as well.. so hooray for that.

-I might not be on for a few days after this... I got a call from my dad today and he said that my mom fell this morning after fainting. He couldn't wake her up with smacking her face or splashing water... He finally got her awake and took her into her dialysis appointment for her kidneys and they said that because the dialysis wasn't working they'd have to take her to the hospital... she refused to go and they tried lifting her veins to make it work... they pulled an 8 inch blood clot out of her vein.... she recovered fairly well, but she's still not doing well at the moment as far as being her normal self... so please keep her in your thoughts

-Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

- NYAF/NYCC was intense! And amazing! It was mobbed. It was apparently sold out; I almost wasn't able to go. But my friend was awesome enough to hold tickets for me and my bf.

- Some people actually recognized my Toki Wartooth cosplay (though the people on the train on the way to the city were probably bewildered by my fake Fu Manchu 'stache

)

- Geez, I must have spent $40 at the Artist Alley. I just can't say 'no' to a good Hetalia print. xD;;;

- If I was a man with a deep voice, I would be able to play a much better Judge for Inherit the Wind. But, alas, I have the voice of a teenage girl, which barely gives the illusion of authority, no matter how sternly I speak my lines. *le sigh*

- Thurop Van Orman commented on my Flapjack window art on facebook! I feel so special!

- I am not looking forward to getting a portfolio together for college. Or writing essays. Argh. Why does my mom force me to apply for early action? D:<

-I always wonder if people at student finance and the finance desk at uni purposely like messing me around. Why can't they just get their jobs done? This whole fiasco of having no money and extending rent payment dates is getting to tedious and tiresome! I'm down-heartened especially today, as even though they said they tried to charge me 1,000's of pounds I don't have despite pushing the date forward to the 15th. So I have to sort it out as soon as possible tomorrow or they'll count it as a late payment.

--My RA just came in and asked to meet with me. About half-way through, she realized that I was the one who got deleted off her list at the beginning of the year. I felt kinda bad at how freaked out she was.

--So, apparently even if I have proof of eligibility from my insurance provider, if the recordkeeping company for Safeway says I'm not covered, I can't get a flu shot without shelling out ridiculous amounts of money for it. Fine. I don't want their stupid flu shot anyway when I can get one in half the time on campus.

--There's been an inch and a half of rain in the last 24 hours. Wow!

--Don't wanna go to work. Too tired. Can't make me. (But I'll go, anyway. I need money.)

-My sinuses finally cleared up after feeling congested for a week. There are quite a few bugs going around campus lately because the weather's been cold one day and hot the next. It might be something in the air too. My mom noticed it when she drove down to see me yesterday. She said it felt like a thick pollen or fog. So, it's not just a bug floating around.

Scar - My thoughts are still with you.

Pierrot - our post at Uni (when I lived in halls) could be picked up from 11am onward. Student Finance sent me a letter which I received at 11am telling me I had to go see them 9.30am that same day. I don't think these people have any logic, being dumb appears to be the qualification that gets you in to working with Student Finance.

Washu - glad you're feeling better. As for work (over here at least) Supermarkets seem to take on 16 year olds more than most places.

CT:

- My Grandfathers cancer has hit a plateau, that is to say he isn't getting any worse for the moment. He is still dying and I've come to accept that, but he'll be around for longer at this rate

- Still planning to move, though an excellent job came up here which I applied for. It got me wondering what I would do if I ended up getting that job...life is so confusing at times.

- The events in Chile are heart warming to witness. Currently, 6 of the miners have been rescued and look well. Everything crossed all the men are rescued in the next couple of days without difficulty.
