I always screw myself over when I procrastinate. But I always keep doing it. I have a debate in my education class tomorrow and I barely have my arguments prepared. Then on Wednesday I have 2 exams and a project. Having started preparing or studying for Wednesday at all. Guess I won't be sleeping the next few days. Oh well, at least I am use to it.

Like right now it's almost 9, and I'm just starting on homework that's due tomorrow.
And it's not just homework, sometimes I even procrastinate on stuff I enjoy doing.
I don't know why... it's just really annoying. wacko.gif

Procrastination is annoying. But somehow I ended up with the most information for my debate. I even was able to disprove one point of the counter group. But I was angry that I ran out of time and couldn't get to all of my points.

I am totally a procrastinator too...for whatever reason I just need that pressure to get things done. I can't focus unless I have the deadline bearing down on me lol.

Buen trabajo \o/ y que mejore el brazo ^^

CTs:

- I hate school. With a burning, fiery passion. More specifically, I hate midterms. And even more specifically, I hate one midterm in particular that has me so stressed out I cleaned the kitchen after class thinking to myself "well at least if nursing doesn't pan out I'll make a decent housewife!" on the verge of tears the entire time. LE SIGH.
-Weiiiird weather we're having. Like the sudden downpour yesterday. Actually I dunno if that was unexpected, but my headphones managed to get wet THROUGH my completely closed bag and now they don't work. T_T
-But I found my jacket!! My favorite favorite jacket...and just in time for winter also. I'm never taking it outside the house again...because I ALWAYS lose it. This is my third one. It is now strictly a staying inside and being cold jacket.

Hagaren - where are you visiting in England? Please say somewhere other than London!

- I have actually designed my own tattoo. I didn't think I could but I doodled yesterday and came up with just the design I've been after. The tattooist can tidy lines when it's being done. No date as of yet.

- Winter has most certainly rolled in. It's gone from being pleasently mild to dark and bitter. I don't mind so much but it makes choosing what to wear a pain.

- I need to wash my car, but I'm pretty certain my fingers would physically frezze off.

-Last week was so awful. I almost had my I-pod stolen. The moron took it right out of my hands! Holy crap. But I got it back. And, the same thing almost happened this Monday, so I kicked the dude and got it back, but when I went back to my desk, some moron stole my headphones. Oh well, at least it wasn't my i-pod.

I dropped my cell phone in lunch today, it hit the floor and the battery fell out. I put it back in, turned it on, and found out I could no longer connect to the internet, send, or receive texts. I panic, and am like: "OH SH!T I BROKE IT." I come home and call my mom and tell her about it. She freaks out and yells at me.

Then my brother comes home and I ask him to run a test so I send him a text, and he send me one. Both fail. I figure it's my phone, so I'm like: "Oh damn." Then he tries calling his friend, and it turns out the reason for all the trouble: "Mom forgot to pay the cell phone bill.

So what a coincidence, eh? Still, she didn't have to yell at me cause she forgot :C

The PlayStation 2 is still expensive because Sony is still making money off of it. And because the newer models of the PS3 don't have backwards capability. (Some of the earlier models do, like my 80gb one) But when Sony releases the software for the PS3 to have backward capability, is the day the price on the PS2 goes down. But that will only happen when the sales of the PS2 go down.

And the fact that great games are still being released on the PS2, as well as the massive library that it has, there's no way that Sony will ever kick the system to the curb. No you don't. The US doesn't even have the highest life expectancy in North America.
Canada stands at #8 with an expectancy of 81.23 years while the US is down at #50 with 78.11 (UK is 36th is 79.1)
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/th...ields/2102.html
The differences aren't really that much though but life expectancy doesn't really come into calling you fatties (though feel free to point out Britain is the fattest European country and the ones with most teenage pregnancies.)

Also, we're more likely to mock you for your knowledge of Geography and the general knowledge of everything not America (though most Brits aren't much better) and your manners. That said, as long as you don't make asses of yourselves no one will mock you unless they're just having a friendly joke.

I'm not sure what your day was like, but let me tell you a little bit about mine.

I woke up at 5 am this morning in order to get to the hospital by 6:45 so I could start my twelve hour shift at 7am. I was on my feet for the better part of those twelve hours helping sick people. I have a raging headache from people yelling all day and alarms going off. And then, I got stuck on one of San Francisco's busiest intersections with a million people honking, not helping my headache in the slightest, on my way home at 7pm. What landed me in this unfavorable situation, you ask? YOU. You did.

A word to the wise: when someone finally loses it and either shoots you, shanks you, or RUNS YOU OVER WITH THEIR CAR, because, believe me, it's gonna happen, the LAST thing you want when you end up in the SF general emergency department is a PISSED OFF NURSE WITH A HEADACHE.

Popo - I have to thank-you for the link, simply because I found this quote "a Staffordshire accent is more posh/generic". It's about time it was recognised just because Birmingham is in the Midlands doesn't mean we all sound that way. (Popo being one of the few members who will understand any of that).

He's also got a point about mocking, know how tiresome the "tea and crumpets" joke is by now? Almost as much as that we all have bad teeth, live in London, worship the Queen and look down on other countries. We don't look down on you, if anything we stick our noses in the air and warm ourselves on our obvious superiority.

(I suppose I had better point out that latter point was a joke).

Ha, well on the note of life expectancy, American health and World Culture teachers usually point out how lucky we are to live in America pretty much every other minute. (At least they do in the south, where anyone that not an AMIRICIN in a COMMEH.) *rolls eyes* They tell us how incredibly long we live and how lucky we are to live in a country where we have the best health care and doctors.

It IS true that we don't really know much about other countries. Unless your talking to an anime fan, most Americans (yeah, I'm talkin' like, HIGH SCHOOL students. For real) don't even know the difference between Japan and China, and when Autralians and English people speak, they can't tell the difference between their accents. XD

Popogeejo--The geography thing is sad, but, as you are doubtless aware, true. There was an article in my local newspaper a while ago, talking about how the Edmonton Police Force was recruiting in our area. We live 2 hours south of Canada, and apparently a lot of the interviewees thought Edmonton was up by Edmonds (about 20 min. north of Seattle, where I live). I wanted to cry.

Hagaren_4ever--Our health teachers were a bit more specific. "Most of you are lucky to be middle-class Americans who can afford basic healthcare." (I went to a Catholic school. Social justice was emphasized. And, for what it's worth, most of Seattle is pretty liberal.)
