Have you tried Gimp? It's free, and it's not as userfriendly as PS but it can do a lot of the same functions. But sorry to hear that everything got deleted

It's weird how funerals can make you talk to people you haven't seen in years, and motivate you to make plans spend time with them. All these "We should hang out more" suggestions, citing that life is too short. I've heard that's common occurrence, especially around a young person's funeral. But it's thought not to last past the first week or so.
I don't know. Part of me is nervous to rekindle too many old attachments. All the same, I wonder if this is a screaming opportunity for me to get out and live life the way I've failed to do so far.

I think my cat may have run off. He was old and had been sick...yesterday he seemed to have a hard time walking and was sleeping a lot. I looked around for him and couldn't find him anywhere...I mean sometimes he goes off and finds a quiet place to sleep for the day so that could be it, but just the fact that he's sick. It's almost easier for me just to think that he's gone and move on. I don't want to give up, but it's easier than being hopeful and being let down. And I'm still getting way ahead of myself. I guess I'm just one of those people who always thinks the worst :/

Washu - just read an interview with Miyazaki about his works and Ponyo, says he's glad to be aiming at young children again. The animations promises to be breathtaking.
Blitz - great about the concert, nuts about the t-shirt.

Zombie - is your library near to anything else? The carpark is always full at ours but I feel it's only the staff who are going inside. I have to park elsewhere to get to it. As for public holidays they are our busiest time as everyone feels they have to go out. Though it was busy, it was fairly quiet to what it could have been.
Washu - agreed, it didn't even occur to me that no Ghibli has really been aimed at the very young since Totoro. Like a lot of animations the age of the lead character is usually the age they are aiming for....which explains Porco Rosso.

People are threatening to take legal action over this.

Hmm.. on and off I keep getting IPS Driver error messages for the board, or other times it takes a long time to load up the forum pages.
Is it my computer? Or the board? Or the combination of both?

Thank you! He actually did come home, and we took him to the vets and they said he might have had a stroke. They gave him some high blood pressure meds and he seems to be better now

I'm going to make her go swimming with me though, which I'm reeeally pumped to start doing again. If there is one thing I love love love about my school's fitness center is that is has an AMAZING pool.

Oh God, the English Ponyo theme, too cute. I gotta say, I like the English version better than the Japanese. It's much more poppy, and cuter. It's so my new ringtone.

Ugh. I think I may have one of the worst friends ever. Everything I say, she shoots it down. She acts so superior because she goes to some dumb private school.
We do a lot of cosplays. There's a lot I do, or want to do, that I never mention to her because she would have no clue what I'm talking about. So, I buy my Meiko (Vocaloid) cosplay, but never mention it because she hates Vocaloids. So she says she wants to be Meiko out of the blue, and then I mention my Meiko cosplay. Her response:
"You're such a liar. You never mentioned this cosplay before. You're trying to guilt me out of it. I need proof that you bought it. You do this every time. All you do is pull this bullsh!t on me."
So tell me this, what kind of friend needs proof to believe another friend? I've always trusted everything she said because I trusted her, but she seems to lack trust in me. What is a friendship without trust? And when I mention I never mentioned it because she hates Vocaloids, another snap:
"You talk about Naruto in front of me even though you know I HATE it, never mention it again!!"
So it's sinful to talk about what I enjoy in front of her, while I listen to her drone on and on and on about her ideas for her novel with these dumb French names that I don't give a damn about? She'll talk for HOURS about it, and I listen, agree and nod, but when Naruto comes up: "UGH NARUTO."

Last time I was on here I had typed up a really long post and when I was almost done my dads laptop froze and I had to reboot it.
My Thoughts.
-My sister got a laptop for her birthday a few days ago. Her super rich best guy friend (that is totally in love with her) bought it for her. He actually bought her a really expensive pink laptop but someone stole it from him. Apparently.
-So, my family might be moving. My mom hates the thought but everyone is pretty pshyched about it, but that's only because they won't have to do much work because of it. I'm indifferent though. I don't really care if we move or not except for the fact that I'm the editor for my school newspaper. I plan on slipping in little lessons on being editor to my staff when school starts. Hopefully we won't have to move for a couple monthes.
-So I made this stupid chick quit her job. Well actually my dad and I made her quit. It was funny. She did not say a word to either of us for three days, then at the end of her shift Sunday she told this other chick that works with us that she quits.
-Tomorrow is my brothers birthday. I think I'm just gonna give him money.
-School start next Wednesday. I am not excited at all. No more staying up till four A.M. no sleeping til one thirty on my days off from work, no spending the night at friends houses.
-So me and my sister were supposed to go shopping with our friend Ariel. But her mom decided not to take us. So Ariel got her boyfriend to convince his mom to take us, or rather her and Matt. Ariel told us Matts mom didn't want to take so many people but not like it's a secret that Matt doesn't like me and Sara. He just doesn't want to spend the whole day with the two of us. He thinks we are bad influences on Ariel some how. He doens't really like her being around us at all.
