Gah, this 'Dark Knight' craze can't end any sooner... sleep.gif

For once, I agree with you. mellow.gif

I also agree. I saw the film and was quite disappointed....

- I got a raise. Yay.
- Amazon seriously needs to ship my stuff.
- Tax free weekend! Though I don't really have anything to buy.

EDIT: Ooooh, Amazon's taking preorders for Iron Man. Yay.

I must be browsing the wrong sites because I've not seen much mention of Dark Knight. Hell, the most talk I've seen of it has been here, right in this thread.

^ As far as the Internet goes, I've seen Dark Knight references in the comments section of various sites. The first mention is inevitable followed by several enthusiastic "awesome!", "it rocks!", "kicks ass" and the like.

And everyone I know IRL who's seen it thinks it's great. My sister has seen it twice and said she's willing to watch it a third time with me (who hasn't seen it even once o.o). I might take her up on the offer. o.o

Dark Knight fans don't bother me much. I myself like Batman, too. (More than I like Superman, at least.)

Live infomercials are pretty exciting. We walked out of the store with a microfiber mop, a mop refill, and free microfiber cloths. :D

Mei your the only person outside of a 'need-a-mop-profession' that is excited over getting a mop, that i know of.

I know plenty of people that absolutely LOVED TDK and think I'm crazy for not. I thought it was good, but was over-hyped.

If you were at that demonstration, you'd be excited, too. Or maybe not. How that microfiber mop picked up those nasty stains on the hardwood/linoleum/marble/etc. floors was nothing short of amazing.

...

So I like to clean. Is that so strange~?

I tried telling my sister not to go all fangirly about it, in case it actually doesn't live up to my pre-impression of how awesome it's supposed be. (Needless to say, she ignored me.) I hate coming out of a theater feeling disappointed by a movie I paid $10+ to watch. It makes me sluggish for the rest of the day. =\

I feel so guilty for reading scanlations.

Why? scanlations are great considering how many titles don't get licensed and how slow official releases are.

Last night a friend of mine whom I haven't seen or talked to in about 4 years called me. At 1:00AM. I was awake of course. He asked if I wanted to hang out today, and some other questions. His best friend, whom I have yet to meet, was there too. This friend seemed really nice, but my other friend who knows him always tells me he's a jerk. So now I'm meeting up with them at the corner store a block away at 12:00 if he remembers to call.
...
I'm hungry.

- Wow. DMV people need to lighten up. The lady that helped me was like a frickin' robot.
I went in to take my Learner's Permit test but apparently they shut down their equipment at 4. I was in there at 3:45, which is ample time to take their stupid test.
- We just wasted gas for no reason and have to go back there tomorrow. D:

I had a rather disappointing convention weekend, but my cosplay turned out well and the Host Club was fun. Also had a bully old time chatting with a writer for a local paper and trying to explain the purpose and appeal of the Host Club to her, before just giving up and inviting her in to get some drinks so we could designate a host together.

Can't wait to see if it turns up in her article. Also can't wait to see if the hosts ever followed through on the suggestion that they introduce her to the phenomenon of 'yaoi'. My time was up before I could see the end of her educational tour of the club.

I might take her up on the offer. o.o

I'm the same way as your sister, I saw it once with my father and once with my boyfriend and am more than willing to see it again with anyone who wants to accompany me.

Personally, I'm glad the movie was so well received. It deserves it, it truly was a brilliant movie. (So much better than Hellboy 2....I loved the first one but literally the only good thing about the 2nd was the visual effects) I mean, I agree that people skeeting over it is annoying, but that's true for anything popular. I want to punch just about every Phoenix Wright fan I've ever spoken to, but that doesn't stop me from adoring the series.

Anyways, just got back from Florida, had a great time, etc etc.

I distance myself as far away from that fandom as I can, as much as I love the series. The fans scare the everliving snot out of me.

Sadly a 404 now.
I can confirm though that A.A is, among other things, the galaxies greatest bounty hunter and in her youth was an great automail mechanic.

Tch, I've become adjusted to insane fangirls accusing all my favorite fictitious sexiful men to be gay, Ace Attorney or not. So I can relate, in a sense.

However, as much as it kills me to say, I can see where the Edgeworth/Phoenix fangirls get their fodder from...but I just choose to ignore it as overanalyzing, etc. >>

Yeah it is, and it also has Jack Black and some other guy, I think Robert Downey Jr. or something.

Total Drama Island is hilarious. I'm actually watching right now. Though some of my favorite characters (Izzy, Cody, Beth, ect.) got eliminated.

My mp3 player is acting up so badly! All the songs are listed as 001,002,003, ect. And the genre, album and artist are all listed as unknown, and then the playlists are are like, invisible. Also, the amount of songs has dropped by about 50, and are played in a r@ndom order. Not to mention some songs (like Early Bird from Arjuna) are on there about 20 times. I hope I can fix this...

What's worse is the condescending attitude of some IT help people. What they forget to realize is that they're being paid to help people. If it wasn't for the technologically challenged people/people without common sense. They'd be out of a job. Instead they flaunt their smugness over some arbitrary computer software tweak.
