Oh God.

I smell my parents going batcrap insane at me soon. Why?

Well, my dad has been assigned to observe a restaurant in the chain he works at next weekend. He's going to stay at a hotel in some town about an hour and a half away from here, and apparently, me and my mom can come. My mom wants to go.

However, I don't. I don't give a flying crap if it has a swimming pool or not -- I do not want to waste my weekend at some hick town with absolutely nothing DOING absolutely nothing.

My mom was the one who decided to bring it up to me. She said I'd have to talk to dad about it and tell him why I don't want to go.

Which is where this will start to go down the crapper. Why? Because I know somehow, it's gonna turn into a mess, and false accusations of why I don't want to go will be brought up [i.e. - computer].

I simply don't want to go. I'm almost eighteen, I think I have a right. If dad doesn't trust me to be alone for two days -- and I know he's not going to -- then lock all the doors. Lock all the windows. I won't fricken leave the house [no way for me to, anyway]. I just don't wanna spend a weekend up there with my parents, away from my friends, doing absolutely nothing. The fact that the town has nothing of entertainment merit doesn't help, either. If it were St. Louis or something similar, I'd be all for it, but...

Ugh. I can smell it already.

-Yay! I'm back on, after a week of craziness.
-My job is awesome now, and I never thought I'd say that. I actually get to work under my dad and his boss, they aren't mean and they don't bug me. Its like heaven!...Well not really, but close

-My times are different also, so I can get more than 4 hours of sleep everyday ^^.
-Yesterday was homecoming and instead of watching the Varsity football game my brother and I left to go back inside school. There we worked on the school paper and a few other things while listening to his teacher talk about the most hilarious things. I am so jealous my bro has funnier teachers, seriously they act like students.
-Today wasn't as busy so I'm glad I can rest a little, besides going back to school later to take down all the banners other kids didn't want to put away

-Agh! My friend has terrible spelling! I mean, she spells the simplest words wrong! Like, last night we made these funny yet stupid commercials for 'chakra water' and 'chakra pills', and she spells it 'chakura' on the name of the 'Chakra Water' YouTube video. She spells Ed's last name Elrik, and Shigure from Fruits Basket, 'Shagurae'. What the heck?! And she has bad grammar too T^T.

If anyone wants to see it, here's the commercial for the water. I'm the 'spokeswoman' wearing the Kakashi shirt. I know it's stupid, but kinda funny/stupid XD

Wheee, I bought so much stuff <3 Posters for my college room (OMG, they actually had Rozen Maiden posters there! Sure it was only 2 and I snagged both but hell, that place tends to only carry really mainstream posters and mostly Final Fantasy. ~~Speaking of which, WTF to FFXIII posters. GO AWAY. MILKING A BABY BEFORE IT'S BEEN BORN.~~ They even tend to lakc in FMA posters. Oh and brought 2 of those too and a wallscroll. Also an Ouran poster) a new Pinky Street doll, a relatively big Jack Skellington vinyl figure (he was $10! Although he IS damaged - missing half of one arm, hence the low price. <3), new manga (vol 14 of FMA and 11 of FY), Guilty Gear DS, and on top of all that....the new FMA boxset 8D I didn't own the first 3 DVDs so yay <3 (it was pretty cheap too o.o)

Anyways, ME HAPPY. <3 Everything is going much better, the final version of ALiBAT is working on my comp (Kirakishou = BADASS) and while I don't have wireless back at my townhouse, it's finally set up here at home. <3 yayz~

I also saw Across the Universe... it was pretty good, but not as good as I expected. It highlighted the timeperiod a lot and not enough was shown between Jude and Lucy =/ still pretty good, though. And some of the songs seemed to be in the movie just for the sake of being there and didn't have anything to do with anyone or the story... Good covers for the most part, though, except Bono's cameo. I hate Bono.

Ever read a book or fanfic where the narrative was so engrossing and yet the whole story was so disturbing you actually thought you were gonna start shaking? (or in my case, actually had shaky hands)

I thought I had managed to pull something similar off with Deadly Posessive, but frick man, Velvet Mace has me beaten by a long shot.

And now I gotta decide if I'm gonna do more than just read a few chapters and actually finish all that she has up of it...Half of me doesn't want to, but the other half loves her narrative too much, Crap.

I know just what you mean. I remember in particular one fanfic that made me ill, but in such a way that was so well-done. (It was done for a challenge of some sort to see who could get the biggest squick, and rather than being a hodge-podge of arbitrary gross and horrible things tossed together, it made sense and that was the most sick part of it.) I've read some original fiction like that as well. Horridly dark things you hate to think about, but they're presented in such a skillful provoking way that you can't condemn the work.

She's like a frickin' monster that woman. I respect her big time because her style is so engrossing and she's so good, but at the same time I fear her because of that style and what it is she writes. And it's the strangest of images that get burned in my head...like what I just read in Pets last night when Greed used the opium on Roy. (I don't know why that's the one is so promimently burned in O_o; ) And then...oh jebus what she had Sloth do to Hughes....o_o

Yeah, I agree. I think the fact you can't condemn them is what bothers you the most too.

I'm still disturbed by the fact tho that Deadly Posessive (my one and only, and probably not the last, attempt at a disturbing fic. Basically, it's Envy's namesake at its worst. It's tame compared to what Velvet Mace does tho) is my second most popular fic on FF.net and it is the ONLY fic of mine people want a sequel for. I don't know if they just want to see Roy get saved or if they just want more disturbing Envy stuff. I do hope it's the former, but judging by some of the reviews, I doubt that....

-Went out to Best Buy earlier to shop for a new oven range and stove for my grandma. When we finally got around to buying them we got in this whole conversation about who's going to take out the gas valve, I mean why is it so complicated? I've done it before, but just cause I'm young no one at that store wanted me to do it, they thought I'd screw up everything

-One good thing came from going there, I got the special edition Ghost in the Shell Solid State Society Movie. I didn't know when it was coming out but I decided to check anyways and it was there ^^!! I can't wait to watch it!!

i reciently obtained afro samurai, which was a very good story..

i love the fact samual l jackson played three characters in there..

but im not going to spoil it for those who havnt watched it.. lets just say.. its a never ending battle between good and evil.. n.n

The reunion of Rock of Love with Bret Michaels was on tonight. I guess Lacey is an okay singer, but I still don't like her

honestly i wouldnt know how to decide i would wait a year and get both just to even play it/ watch it.
the price on em would be down and you could afford both so i think thats what im going to do.

^Good point. They both came out in September, so I think they'd have gone down a little. Then again, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 1 took about 8 months to go down. And it was from $40.00 to $35.00. I think I'll get the Naruto game, and then save the .hack// for Christmas. Or! Get Naruto tomorrow, and then wait about a month and then get .hack//.

-I want to draw something really badly, but what?
-Agh! I still need to get the 4th Uncut Naruto box set, the Naruto movie, like 3 Negima! DVDs, Blood+, Kikaider, Paranoia Agent, Kodocha and so many others DX. I wish I could win a million dollars.

Holy life immitating art! Just a little while ago I put my hair in a ponytail, and then I got a look at myself and realized with my new haircut I looked just like an original character I designed only with a different hair colour. o_o;;; The way my layered hair looked was just like the way I always drew that character's ponytail. o_o Da hell.

you know there are ways other then asking parents for money.. try a diffrent approch and get an easy or cake walk job.. that way your not bugging your mom for anything and you can take the extra money and put it towords somthing else you may want down the road..

^Eh, I'm the sort of person who 'lives for today and not tomorrow's satisfaction' if you will. And a job? I'm 13. I could never babysit, cause if the kid threw up, or got a cut, I'd faint. A paper route? I can't ride a bike. Seriously, I don't know how. I just fall over. And there are no other jobs I could get around here.

what about a bagger for a grociery store.? many people have started as one.. but i believe since you are young wait one more year.. then ask your high school once youve started about programs for those who wish to work part time.. itll also add those good credits to your deploma.

some school offer this for teens who are hard working and have great grades..

I'll just go back to saving lunch money. I get about $3.00 a day since lunch is $2.60. So I guess I can save about $00.40 a day. But! If I eat no lunch then I get $15.00 a week. Hahaha, I'll just eat a big breakfast >:3

wow incredibly competive for saying no arent we.. well. im not ashamed to work.. ive been doing it for a whille now and it seems that alot of young kind like to work now.. think there parents got so bad they actually want to leave.. lol but furthermore.. well i dunno what to tell yah.. simple as this : real life.. If you don't work, Yah dont eat .. harsh but reality for yah..
