I can't go manga shopping with my mom without her criticizing my choices of manga that are scary-looking. She won't let me buy Death Note or this other manga called Zombie Powder. So I bought Yotsuba&! Volume 4, which is one of the only manga she actually approves of. sleep.gif

Hey people!! How ya'll doing... It's been like forever since I last made a post around here. Every time I get on, it's only long enough to reply to messages...

Anyways. My life has been pretty normal, and boring since I got home...
Nothing to talk about. (maybe that's why I haven't posted here for a while)


my thoughts
-The three day weekend was great. I don't want to go back to school though. Friday I took an allergy pill, and it knocked me out ( I slept 10 hours straight) I missed three tests, and a lab. (Ugh)
-Next weekend my grandparents are gonna come down to watch us. They can't get into our house (cause of my grandmas wheel chair) so they are gonna stay in a room. It's cool because me, and Sara get to stay at home.
-I need to scan all my pictures to my moms comp. I'll probly post some at Photography thread...

Ah, yes, you're right. I'm behind on TV-scheduling news.

I made chicken tonight. It was surprisingly tender! ohmy.gif I hope I can duplicate it but I probably can't. Beginner's luck, maybe?

The apple/lime sauce was also really good. I thought it was too sour the first time I tasted it, so I added some sugar, then said "Screw it!" and served it on the chicken...but the chicken and the sauce worked really well together.

My brother said he'll give my mom a good report on my cooking when I call her tonight. It's the least he can do. I always compliment his cooking when my mom asks about it. And besides. I didn't burn down his kitchen.

- Wow, school's starting soon . . .
- So I've finally decided to not do a co-op anymore. It's too stressful trying to land a job. I think people discriminate against English majors in general. What have normal Communications Studies students have that I don't?
- I have all the teaching experience I need anyway.
- I said 'yes' to teaching Chinese school again. What was I thinking . . . or perhaps it's "Why was I not thinking?".

Hmm.

My Forensics teacher forbade me from writing an entertainment speech about cannibalism this season. However, I was thinking of writing the speech anyway and telling her I was doing an informative speech instead, then performing it in front of her, and see if I get killed or not.


As long as she feeds me to the class afterwards, I suppose.

Either the wirings got problem [rarely happens anyway] or you need brand new speakers...
Laptop speakers are good only if you're going mobile... In home, it will be better to plug in your usual computer speakers...

Don't study on or near a bed.
Find a Library or a class room to study in.

Unplug your internet connection play some background music (w/o any lyrics) and get to work.

Good lord.

I started playing DMC3 again this weekend. It's still kicking my ass, and does it really have to make me go back to the very beginning of the mission? I'm so not amused by that, I'm really not.

It increases the prices of everything after you buy it once, throws monster onslaughts at me. Just a rude, rude game. mad.gif

@Water Alchemist- I really love your sig and avi.! Blood+ is one of my current favorite anime!

-There is a fly above me on the flourecent(sp?) light above me. Look at him... hoppin' around and rubbin' his feelers. I see you fly! I know you're taunting me!!!.........and now he's ON MY BOOK! Oh. He hit the light. I think he popped O.o

-School starts on Wednesday. I have a different teacher. It figures that I, a student taking German, gets the French/Spanish teacher for a homeroom teacher. I miss my old teacher already.

-I actually made it to 8th grade. Hallelujah. And they all said I'd fail! *Thank you Summer School XD!*

- I’m only a sophomore and I am taking eight classes not including the ones I will be taking in the summer. At least when I start my junior year I will only be two or less credits away from being a senior.

- I just went to my first anime convention and have come to the conclusion I am cosplaying next year.

- I just found out why you should have special pens or at least sharpies to ink.....

I'm possibly going to the mall today. I hope they sell Pocky in FYE; it was sold in that other DVD store. If not, then I will be sad. I only want to go to the mall to buy some Pocky, seeing as how this mall has absolutely no bookstores. D:

- Swim practice actually wasn't bad. The pool's heater was actually on! 8D
- Tomorrow is the last day of summer vacation... and I'm going to spend it swimming in a gross middle school pool. -__-

Steel_Heart_Alchemist- I know they sell pocky here at the Boulevard mall and at the Galleria. And, at the FYE superstore. They have BIG pocky there. And Japanese Soda, and all that kinda stuff. It's like Media Play reborn.

-The fly is gone XD. I think one of the four cats ate it. Most likely Tonka, Chloe or Abbey. Shelby doesn't partake in such things.

So I moved into my townhouse and discovered the promise of wireless internet I got from one of the school's counsellours was a lie.

Fushi not happy. Fushi have no internet. :<


Me and my housemate are thinking about setting up wireless in there and paying for it ourselves.

My townhouse isn't exactly the greatest of conditions either. For the longest time I thought someone was in the basement till I realized it's just the floorboards when you walk on them. o_o

So far only one housemate has shown. there are supposed to be 2 others. The one seems pretty nice.

I don't think they intentionally lied about it. Apparently they've been trying to get wireless in there for a while now, so she probably just assumed it would already be hooked up by the time I got there.


But whatever. I need my internet. End of story. I have plenty of money to chip towards a connection, so I don't mind.


My housemate also wants to sneak in a cat but we have to wait till the other girls show up to make sure they don't have any allergies or something. >3>

I'd feel the same way. But the most money I've ever saved up is $173.00. And then I went shopping. I have $6.82 left .__. So much for saving up for Tora-con, Anime North and No-con T^T.

Kitty! That would suck if they had allergies. I hope they don't, kitties are fun to have *has 4 cats*

...Gah, it's happening again! The urge for a boyfriend! This is what happens when you get me in this high school...it's been happening since last year, and last year, I actually went through with it...and absolutely hated it. The feeling of having a boyfriend tied me down and made me miserable.

Sophomore year I had no problems with it. Then last year it started.

Gah! Are seven years of burying my dislikng for dating under the crust of asexuality coming back from the dead to haunt me?! I don't want one, but at the same time...fssfhgjfdjskgeh.

It took me a minuet to fully grasp the concept of that second sentence. And I wouldn't, and most likely shouldn't know,

Hiya Little Washu happy.gif!!

Current thoughts:
-I have such a big headache and I've been sneezing so much.
-All cause of the mold in houses [due to the storm].
-Its only the beginning of school and we have to baby-sit elementary students. In about an hour I'm going back to school to watch a soccer game while talking to the students. I hope it blows over fast cause I had to do this last year and all the kids started screaming. [Even worse to hear when I have a headache.]
-Cubs game will start at 7:00. So I will still be able to see it, yay!

@Steel Heart Alchemist- That's mean to do 'false-advertising' on a directory like that. The malls here have 3 kinds of pocky, Jumbo-pocky(It's huge!!!) and soda, and candy, and pocky like candy and the list goes on! If there's an FYE superstore near you they might have it. I recommend strawberry :3.

@Fushigi Rockna-......... $4500?........and I thought my little brother had lots of money (the boy's in 6th grade and has $800.00)

Washu- Yeah, I know. And they said on the directory that there was a Waldenbooks, but there wasn't. D: So I walked through the whole mall to find nothing.

That's a shame. Around here, there are 3 Barnes and Noble, 2 Walden Books, 2 FYE, and 1 FYE superstore. It's pretty good cool.gif
