My sister gave me a belated birthday present of a bunch of Japanese kids' books she found at a local thrift store (Mostly educational, like a Japanese-english picture dictionary, etc.), volume 17 of some old obscure manga in japanese, as well as two Chinese schoolbooks and a song book in Korean. Apparently, it all looks the same.
She also gave me underwear.
Three interesting things I've discovered my brother-in-law owns:
-A large promotional statue of Master Chief (Of Halo), scored from a Mediaplay store that was clearing out. Photos to come.
-An extensive collection of arrowheads found locally.
-A Yerba Mate` cup made from a bull testicle

Wicked was even better the second time. The woman who played Elphaba has a very defined range of vocal talent. It was interesting to hear her sing, seeing how much it differed from the original vocals with Idina.
Plus, she and Galinda were funnier this time.

- I have to head for Party City so I can pick up some stuff for my party. Can't have a party without the basic needs. Streamers or no streamers?

Woo, first day of school is over. [Yes, already.] Highlights:
- I get first hour with one friend and seventh hour with another :3
- Four of my teachers knew who I was
- I'm a senior, so I feel special~
The big thing was is that I had no fourth period on my schedule, and I didn't notice 'til last night. I tried getting to see the guidance counselor this morning, and there was too many people. Tried getting in foruth hour, too many people. It wasn't until AFTER school that I had to wait a half hour to get my class in. I got Illinois History...mmm, seems easy enough.
Other than that, this year seems pretty pimpin'. 8D I better get spoiled to death too like the seniors last year. >>

The big thing was is that I had no fourth period on my schedule, and I didn't notice 'til last night.
I tried getting to see the guidance counselor this morning, and there was too many people. Tried getting in foruth hour, too many people. It wasn't until AFTER school that I had to wait a half hour to get my class in. I got Illinois History...mmm, seems easy enough.Other than that, this year seems pretty pimpin'. 8D I better get spoiled to death too like the seniors last year. >>
Omigod, I feel so bad for my best friend. His mother died yesterday. I don't even know how it happened because I haven't spoken to him yet. And I called him just now, but he didn't answer his cell phone. I hope he's okay.

Well, they did a catscan yesterday, found nothing getting worse and so began to take him out of the coma. When I talked to my dad yesterday he said he was starting to wake up. So everyone's positive he's gonna be okay. Now I'm just worried about any sort of permanent brain damage.

.............gonna go eat some zucchini sticks me and my friend made last night. :B I wonder if we can rent Batman, we went on a Tim Burton fest last night with Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands (actually, itwas technically a Danny Elfman fest, because I've become an Elfman fangirl and was watching the movies mostly for his score XD) and now I feel like watching Batman....

-The Cubs finally won after losing 4 straight... But I guess they just needed a push and our new bull pen pitcher gave them it.

Hike! Forested Mountain!Saw two mooses. I was also quite proud of myself for finding wild mint plants. (I just knew that I wasn't wrong when I thought I'd smelled it on the hillside.) Wiped out on a really dusty thin path and got a gash in my knee. (And dust everywhere)
Had delicious food at a great Mexican restaraunt. The waiter was awesome; genuinely nice, funny, and hot. Aaaaand, he was married. That's what you get whenever you find a cute young person in Utah. Effin' Mormons! ;_;

I was pretty into in until my brother had to return it to his friend.
Funny, it's so hard to find a copy of Abyss over here. I saw it maybe once at a Best Buy about four months ago. I see the Player's Choice version of Symphonia lying around here and there.
